Ha sido una experiencia MARAVILLOSA, si buscas el paraíso aquí lo vas a encontrar. Todo ha sido a un nivel superior. La comida, la atención, todo el equipo de The Island han sido muy amables, especialmente la atención de FRANK, él ha estado pendiente de nuestras necesidades en todo momento, no te vamos a olvidar, amigo. El hotel es simplemente maravilloso, las vistas, las habitaciones, la piscina, su ubicacion.. todo inmejorable. Se come muy bien ademas con raciones generosas. El personal es muy amable y en especial Frank que estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento e hizo nuestra estancia alli muy agradable. Muchas gracias Frank!

Increíble hotel en la isla, vistas espectaculares, puestas y salidas del sol son lo mejor; el personal muy amable y la comida súper deliciosa, lo recomiendo muchísimo!! El hotel es maravilloso

Es un hotel que está en su pequeña isla que tiene vistas increíbles todo el tiempo, el mar es hermoso; ver la marea que sube y baja es muy bonito. Es un hotel eco friendly con unas puestas de sol y sunrise increíbles; lo recomiendo mucho. Lo que más me gustó fue convivir con los perros que tienen, dan mucho amor a los visitantes. Es un hotel en el que puedes convivir con la naturaleza porque estás en medio del mar, me gustó mucho! Gracias a todo el personal!

We stayed at the Island Pongwe Lodge during our honeymoon. We arrived really late at night due to a flight delay. Even though they welcomed us very friendly with some coconut water and sandwiches. The whole staff (including the managers) was super polite and very obliging. Especially Frank helped us a lot with every question we had, without being intrusive! It was such a nice place to relax and enjoy some privacy. We really enjoyed staying there and would definitely come back. It was above and beyond our imaginations.

We won a trip here and when we managed to get there, we were absolutely amazed! The scene was fascinating, the ocean was crystal clear and the hosts were really nice and helpful! They waited for us with fresh coconut. The Island has a really special, private athmosphere, you can enjoy your time with your loved one in a perfect, little paradise. I also have to mention the food, which was delicious in the restaurant, where there was a huge variety of seafood. Lobster tail was one of our favourites! :) Another great experience for us was sailing with the local sailing boat and snorkeling. Margarita and the team, thank you so much for everything!

Thank you for helping us celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary with such warmth and open arms. The food was delicious - we enjoyed the seafood platter for two, pasta bolognese, and my son enjoyed the steak.

Fabulous Family trip to the island at Pongwe. Such a unique destination. I feel it would be unfair to single out individual members of staff as all of the staff were absolutely fabulous and made you feel very special very welcome and very well cared for. The accommodation and food were excellent we would highly recommend this place and will definitely return

Magical place- from the moment we arrived the service and food were amazing. Thanks to Frank1 and Frank 2 for the Swahili lessons. Thanks to the amazing chef who cooked us fresh food everyday to a very high standard and to Juma,Rama and Anna to name a few for the big smiles, chat and service. Beautiful beaches surround the hotel, take a trip on a Dhow boat and go snorkelling. Missing you Pongwe island and thanks for treating us like family.
