"1. Te piden un depósito de 200€ con tarjeta para dar la llave. 2. La máquina que da la llave no funcionaba. 3. No atienden en el teléfono de ayuda que tienen allí. Al final contacto por otra vía y consigo que me atiendan y me dé la llave. 4. La llave vieja de latón, que había sido reparada antes (soldada), se partió justo por donde estaba soldada y nos cobran 50€ por el arreglo y por venir a darnos un duplicado. Un robo a mano armada. 5. El alojamiento, en medio de la nada, no tiene ni una sola luz de noche. 6. Tienen un cartel puesto dentro en el que te avisan de que si consumes más luz, agua, calefacción, o electricidad de la que ellos consideran, te lo van a restar de la fianza que has dejado. 7. En la planta baja hace muchísimo frío hasta con la calefacción puesta. 8. La limpieza deja mucho que desear. Nunca hemos tenido un problema con ningún alojamiento, pero la experiencia con este ha sido pésima. Vale más gastar 20€ más en un hotel de verdad y no tener que perder tiempo ni dinero con máquinas que no funcionan, personal ausente y llaves viejas. Me siento realmente estafada."

"We stayed here with two other families. It is a complex of modular build homes, which at the time of our stay were in perfect condition, and beautifully clean. Crisp white linen and towels were supplied and changed twice in our two week stay. Our apartment was also cleaned during our stay once per week. ( as far as I know you can pay for this to be more frequent). The kitchen had a good supply of crockery and cutlery and a large fridge with a small freezer compartment. There was a combi microwave grill and a hob- but no oven - so no way to cook pizza etc. We didn’t have any problems with ants - but other members of our party did. Our accommodation was two storey- the air conditioning was only downstairs and during a heatwave the upstairs rooms got VERY hot. The single storey accommodation- might be a better bet- or check if more air conditioning has been installed. There are two pools - one which is normal depth but with a shallow end and one which is standing depth for the whole pool. We had teenagers who wanted to play in the deep pool- but there were notices up at the deep pool saying no ball and no inflatable- for what is obviously a family destination we felt that this was unfortunate- after a few days it was apparent that most families were not adhering to that- so lots of family fun was had in the pool. We had a lovely meal in the bistro, onsite but went into Châtelaillon du Plage most nights (a 20- 30 min walk ). There is a poolside bar with snacks- but these are not geared towards children- (think charcuterie for 17euro) so we ended up not using it as we had thought we would. The accommodation was wonderful for families and the location was great—( two minutes walk to the sea- 20 mins to a swimming beach- lovely walk along the beach to Châtellion du Plage- Given the nature of the accommodation - availability of poolside snacks suitable for children would be a great improvement. Overall I would have no problem recommending this lovely clean accommodation to anyone. If we were in the area again I would return."
