This was a fabulous place with huge reception rooms and a beautiful bedroom with a painted ceiling, with doors opening onto a terrace. It was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and a large modern bathroom. The garden is quiet and pretty, and the swimming pool crystal clean and beautiful. But best of all was Francesca, who communicated with me before the trip, welcomed us and looked after us with great charm and care from start to finish. The breakfast was fabulous, with fresh ingredients (oranges from the trees in the garden); the coffee delicious, and all served in a pretty area (with the wood burning stove lit for us on a cool morning), with a smile by Fina. We couldn't have had a better place to stay in Poggiardo.

Terrific place to stay in Poggiardo. Convenient to lots of the sights Puglia has to offer. This hotel is a great base, with friendly and welcoming staff and all the amenities you could ask for. Great breakfast too. I would recommend staying here if you’re touring the area.

What a stunning little property and a great base to do day trips from. I cannot recommend this property enough, it is small, stylish and Italian !! Restaurant is brilliant, you must have dinner here at least once, its a treat. The manager Lavinia is fantastic, actually all the staff are but Lavinia takes it to another level. She cannot do enough for you. If she gives you a recommendation, DO IT, she gave us great this to do, restaurants, places to swim etc etc. Love love love this property.

The rooms are situated above a bar, its not a bad thing as the restaurant was pretty good also. Over Christmas, the place can be secluded but at the same time the lights make it magical. We had a sauna in our room!! Feels like a Palace instead of a hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and the staff was amazing also.

Such a great place to stay. We were given a new room which doesn't feature yet on website- actually two double rooms joined by a staircase. Lovely breakfast of home made cakes. Great quiet pool area. Super helpful and friendly staff who also had great advice of where to visit and where to park. Bar downstairs was never noisy.

Palazzo Circolone was beyond my expectations. They have recently added new rooms which aren't featured on website and we got one of them. It was actually two double rooms joined by a staircase. Beautifully converted with enormous high original vaulted ceilings and exposed stonework.
The common areas in the hotel are wonderful, as is the breakfast terrace and pool area. Selection of home made cakes, warm pastries, cheeses, ham, prepared fruit, orange juice, choice of coffee..
The staff were exceptionally helpful, with lots of suggestions as to where we should visit right down to parking tips.
The downstairs cafe/bar is a lovely area and never noisy. It is close to the pool for a drink or snack during the day.
Poggiardo is an ideal base for visiting this area, and the village has several good restaurants and shops to get essentials. Free on street parking is close by.
Totally recommend staying here, high quality hotel with lovely staff.

Fabulous service. They really care about your well-being and help you. On top a very nice restaurant with very good food.
The room had no TV, a bit strange but I didn't miss it really.

We spent 3 nights while touring the south of Apulia. The staff is very friendly and always available to help. The room and the common areas are very nice and stylish - perfect combo for those liking modern and classic styles altogether.
