This place seems to cater to families with younger children who want to totally unplug. If that is your vibe, go for it! As a couple however it did not really resonate. The good: Friendly people and the included breakfast and dinner are easy and mindless choices with massive variety of food at the buffets.. There are several pools all fantastic and well kept. The room was beautiful, and the bed comfortable. Staff is really good. The not so good: If you are on the upper floors the inclinator takes forever, and there are no direct paths/stairs to the restaurants, lobby, and parking. The food is meh at best. The view of the rooms, and most of the building are directly out to sea, or somewhat marred by powerlines and some other buildings. It is not near the water (take a shuttle to a sister hotel) nor near the cities of interest (except the charming village of Margarite). You will be surrounded by unruly kids at the meals and pools (hey I have some too) but sometimes you seek some relaxing quiet...not here. WATCH OUT: Although all the food is labeled for allergies, BEWARE as it is not always accurate. Greek food is a bit of minefield for a NUT ALLERGY, and I ate some pesto that was mislabeled. The manager was greatly apologetic, but be careful, if it looks iffy...ASK and double check.
