UUsuario invitadoWe really enjoyed our stay at Baia Azul. This hotel has everything! Gorgeous views from the lounge area, a lovely bar with entertainment at night, excellent service, lovely comfortable rooms, and a very nice pool area. We cannot fault it! The breakfast was also lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel dispone de una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una habitación con una mini frigorífico, pantalones de baño y ropa. También ofrecen toallas de piscina. Hay un servicio de limpieza todos los días y cambian todas las toallas, incluyendo las para la piscina. La cama no era la mejor porque era bastante dura y tenía una matraca de primavera. Disfrutamos de la piscina interior, el jacuzzi y la sauna. No hemos probado la piscina exterior porque sólo pasamos tiempo allí en las noches. El desayuno era bueno. Volvería porque era una experiencia agradable en general.

MMuhammadOne of the main reason why I booked this 4 star hotel was that it said it had a large space gym area as mentioned before booking, so I assumed it being a 4 start Hotel it will have decent weights and machines. However, when I arrived, the gym didn’t have a pull-up bar or a cable machine, the dumbbell weights were very basic that went up to only 10 kg. That is absolutely disappointing considering this was a 4 start Hotel. To be honest the multiuse cable machine is pretty much all you need as it has everything to be exercise all your body parts! I love my pullups hence I had to find a way to do them so I found a metal gate just outside the gym in the tennis court believe it or not I used the gate frame to do my pullups (see picture). Another downfall is that it didn’t have a water fountain in the gym area. You had to go up to the reception and buy bottle of water for €2. Good luck to those who suffer from quick dehydration.
I expected the room to have a kettle which you wouldn’t think twice whether it will have it or not. But guess what? You have to pay extra to have a kettle in your room during your stay between €5 to €7. That’s just jokes, I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry!
Other than that, the staff were very friendly and the location is close to the sea, and approximately 11 minutes drive to the main city area in Funchal.
I’d say the breakfast is good, but the same time pretty standard what you would get in a 3 star hotel. I was expecting better variety. The breakfast is always the same every day. Hardly never changes. However, the dinner menu has a rotation.
Overall, I would give this place 3.5 out of 5!
I hope they can accommodate the above the next time I visit.

DDzmitryEl diseño y los interiores son excepcionalmente lujosos.
Desventajas:
1. La piscina no está climatizada en verano.
2. A principios de junio, el restaurante buffet estuvo cerrado durante 5 días.
3. El servicio y la cocina en los restaurantes son muy lentos. Siempre hay que esperar. Cualquier almuerzo o cena no te llevará menos de una hora y media.
4. El servicio de habitaciones es molesto. Por la mañana te despiertan para limpiar la habitación, luego vienen a traerte agua, luego al servicio de cobertura (solo dos dulces) y luego a otra cosa. Nunca termina. ¿Traer todo en una sola visita? Imposible.

VVictoriaОтличное расположение, хороший мой бассейн, рядом 2 типа бассейнов с морской водой и выход к океану, чуть подальше в 25 минутах пешком от отеля красивая пещера и длинный песчаный пляж. В отеле все были очень любезны, на день рождения мужа подарили бутылочку шампанского. У нас был панорамный вид из окна, он шикарен, комната 1003. Из недостатков я купила завтраки, но мой муж долго спит и поэтому завтракала только я, я просила персонал взять брекфаст бокс для мужа так как он уже оплачен, но это мне не разрешили сделать, в итоге все завтраки оплаченные мы потеряли, завтраки до 10:00 если ты рано не проснешься то не поешь, имейте это ввиду, в остальном все прекрасно , уборка каждый день

UUsuario invitadoA experiência no Pestana Ocean Bay foi bastante agradável, os colaboradores foram sempre muito simpáticos e atenciosos, ajudaram sempre que foi necessário, têm sem dúvida uma equipa preocupada com o hóspede, atenta, empática, senti-me muito bem recebida… num questionário que respondi a meio da estadia, mencionei que nos buffets poderia haver uvas (isto porque a minha filha gosta muito, e as uvas eram uma fruta que ainda não tinha surgido), fiz essa observação pensando que nem ia ser lida, no entanto, no dia seguinte ao chegar ao quarto tínhamos um belo prato de uvas, nesse momento, sentimo-nos acarinhadas como se estivéssemos em casa, foi um gesto de cuidado que nos deixou sensibilizadas, estão de parabéns por isso e por, efetivamente, lerem os questionários, que muitas vezes achamos que ninguém vai ler e importarem-se com o que lá se escreve. Têm uma boa organização, apresentação e logística de tudo o que envolve uma estadia: refeições, animação ao fim do dia, saídas/passeios, etc.
Continuação de um trabalho de excelência ☺️ obrigada.

В итоге, нашелся отель с очень просторными номерами, панорамным окном, кофе/чай, удобной ванной комнатой с биде, большим балконом. Единственные моменты: раздельная кровать для пары и слабоватый душ. Шум ночных волн на любителя:) Нам пришлось закрывать дверь на балкон, хотя и так было довольно шумно.
Сервис очень дружелюбный.
Завтрак вкусный и свежий. Много выпечки, напитки, нарезки и горячее.
Не ожидала, что будет бесплатный трансфер до центра и обратно. Абсолютный плюс этого отеля, потому что находится он не в шаговой доступности от центра.
Виды, чистота возле отеля, свой пляж - это потрясающе.
Далее мы проживали в частном секторе и много что посмотрели на острове, но первые две ночи в Orca Praia остались в нашем сердечке💘

JJRamosUm grande agradecimento a grande equipa do hotel Golden Residence. Desde a garrafa de espumante até aos pequenos gestos como a oferta de rebuçados no check out a nossa estadia foi excelente. A piscina interior e o banho turco são um must além de piscina exterior. Os quartos são grandes, com sala e kitchnete faltando apenas a TV no quarto. Muito boa localização.

SsfoxonA lovely Hotel, with a high level of service and a great restaurant an amenities. The location is only good for those willing to taxi or drive to Funchal- otherwise it is a 30-35minite walk, allow more time for the way back all uphill.
The decor of the rooms is dated- very 1990s in style, the carpet is wearing thin in places. The pool side area is nice but could benefit from a modernization to make the decor match the level of service.
Can't fault the stay otherwise.

Великолепный завтрак для отеля 3 звезды. Кухня, на которой можно приготовить вкусный ужин из прекрасных продуктов. Сильная вытяжка, никаких запахов, даже если подарить себе рыбку Балкончик с шикарным видом, на котором великолепно удинается с видом на море и сияющую огнём гору Монте. . Уборка каждый день. Район прекрасный. Внизу по улочке-променад вдоль океана, шикарный огромный супермаркет, зелень, кафешки.. Рекомендую.
Да, отель старенький, немного пошарпанное всё, но плюсы перекрывают минусы с учётом стоимости этого всего..
