This property is absolutely amazing! We spent the weekend here at Eskapo Verde and I def. have to say that this is the best and most unforgettable experience during our stay in Cebu. Location: The property is located south to Moaboal inbetween the Moaboal city/ town and Kawasan canyoneering. Perfectly quiet within lushy mangroves and wild creatures. It's not as bustling as Moaboal so if one is looking for a green escape this is the place to go. Facilities: The lodge offers cottages which are super amazing. Very well maintained and eco-friendly. I really appreciate the property's effort in not offering unnecessary plastic and disposable items. The property has its own restaurant and it is fabulous. We spent half a day just exploring the lodge and were pleased to have interesting encounters with its natural inhabitants. Staff and owner: Super friendly and professional. They provide responsible services, and the owners, Simon and Alain, are very hospitable and helpful. We really appreciate their help, as well as the support from the staff that made our trip so amazing.

Сам номер большой и просторный, что мне очень понравилось, собственная ванная комната, у меня было две кровати, также был выбор завтрака, неплохой завтрак. Но был минус, то что, раковина очень быстро забивалась и вода долго уходила, и к тому же у раковины ручка круглая и тяжело его крутить, то есть включать и выключать воду, если чуть мыльными руками попробовать открыть воду то вы не сможете открыть воду

Me quedé aquí con mi novia durante 4 noches y tuve un gran tiempo. En Moalboal, al principio, hemos llegado a experimentar el canyoneo Kawasan, y tuvimos suerte porque B’lu Bamboo está en la zona donde nuestro organizador canyoneo ofreció gratis recoger y deshacerse. La ubicación es muy conveniente. Está cerca de la playa Blanca y la playa Lambug, y la famosa Sardina Run está también cerca. Osmeña Peak está a una hora y incluso Oslob está a sólo 2 horas si quieres hacer un viaje de día. Hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas cerca, por lo que conseguir comida o cualquier cosa que necesites es fácil. El hotel está muy bien situado en Moalboal, pero no se puede hacer nada más. También alquilan motocicletas para un suplemento, lo que nos ha hecho mucho más fácil explorar la zona. ¡Estamos muy contentos de haber tomado B’lu Bamboo y seguramente quedarse aquí otra vez cuando regresemos a Moalboal.

El personal filipinos es excepcional: acogida, sonriente y siempre disponible. El gerente es de primera, muy profesional, habla varias lenguas y nada que redireccionar. Al comenzar, incluso había una recepcionista francesa, lo que facilita aún más la comunicación. La comida es excelente, de muy buena calidad. Es un poco más cara, pero es totalmente normal visto la ubicación aislada del resort. Le resort est excentré, l'accès peut être un peu compliqué, mais c'est le prix à payer pour profiter du calme absolu, d'une plage presque déserte et d'une piscine impeccable. Un scooter peut être loué facilement pour rejoindre les commodités. My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Orchid, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a  view of the ocean over the treetops. It felt peaceful and private — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. The staff were exceptional — so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They helped me plan a surprise proposal for my fiancé, offering suggestions for the perfect location and ultimately arranging for us to use their private rooftop. They also coordinated a romantic dinner there just for us, ensuring we had complete privacy. It was an unforgettable evening, and I’m so grateful for the care they put into making it so special. The resort arranged our transportation both from our previous hotel in Mactan and later to Cebu Pier 1, which made travel stress-free. We also booked canyoneering and an introductory scuba dive through them. The instructors were fantastic — very patient and reassuring, especially when I became nervous underwater and couldn’t finish the dive. While the resort is a bit removed from the busier Panagsama Beach area, that was a huge plus for us. We wanted somewhere quiet, scenic, and romantic, and Blue Orchid delivered exactly that. The restaurant doesn’t have a massive menu, but the food was consistently delicious, portions were perfect, and prices were very fair. Even though there wasn’t a kettle in the room, hot water, coffee and tea was readily available and it was never an inconvenience since everything was close by. We also appreciated the mosquito net over the bed — it added to the tropical charm, though we didn’t need it because insects were never an issue. We even spotted a tiny gecko in our room upon arrival, but it was harmless and quickly disappeared — just part of the island’s character! Overall, the Blue Orchid was everything we hoped for: quiet, romantic, and welcoming. The staff helped make one of the most meaningful moments of our lives absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend it, especially to LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a peaceful and genuinely inclusive place to stay in Moalboal. When we do a return trip to the area, we will stay here again.

The good is that it was very clean and more accessible by car than many of the hotels in town. The bad is that there was no hot water because the outlet for the water heater shower was broken. They also had a menu of things you could buy but then they were out of most things. I spoke to another guest and they had the same complaints. We are also used to blankets with the bed, but only a sheet was provided.

Has a lot of potential. Location is good and staff were helpful in ordering Tuk tuks to the town and organising day trips. Unfortunately our shower kept going cold but they did do their best to sort it.
