TTotal travellerBeautifully design hotel, but our room was facing a busy street when we asked for a water view and the noise still came through time to time. The location is helpful and walkable distance to the metro but it’s confusing to find without directions. The spa pool was closed during our stay unfortunately bringing the amenities down since that was a main attraction. Appreciate the helpful staff.

BBee_❤️Getting there was incredibly easy — it’s only about an eight-minute metro ride from Rotterdam Central, and the hotel is literally just outside the Leuvehaven metro station, which makes arrival and getting around very convenient.
The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. We had a canal-facing room, which was beautiful, especially in the evening when the lights reflected on the water — definitely a lovely touch to the stay.
It’s also about an eight-minute walk to Beurs, so you’re well placed for shops, restaurants, and the city centre without being right in the busiest area. I’d happily recommend this hotel for both comfort and location.

HHW2002La ubicación del hotel es excelente, a poca distancia a pie de la orilla del río y de las populares avenidas comerciales. La habitación es pequeña, ya que se trata de Europa, pero está diseñada para que todo encaje a la perfección y no te sientas agobiado ni incómodo. La tecnología inteligente permite controlar todo desde un iPad. Por lo tanto, es compacto pero eficiente, especialmente para quienes viajan solos. Por cierto, el personal es amable y la recepción, limpia y funcional, es una sala de estar ideal para socializar.

Large, quiet rooms with large interactive TV and modern bathrooms with walk in showers. Large comfortable beds to help a great nights sleep . Good quality buffet breakfast and affordable dinner menu. Small self service retail area a great bonus selling drinks and snacks etc. Small gym with limited exercise equipement but all in working order . Enjoyable stay

15 mins on foot from the Rotterdam Centraal Station / 8 mins by Tram
The metro station Eendrachtsplein is just right next to the hotel, and it’s just one stop away from the World Trade Centre.
Walkable distance to the supermarket Albert Heijn or Dirk and the famous shopping areas called Lijnbaan
🛌Room: spacious and nice sound proof, my room is located on the 10th floor, can’t hear any sounds from the street / tram
🫠However improvement is needed for the hygiene, stains are found on the couch and the tv remote control is quite dirty. Can tell either the previous hotel guests had very oily hands/ like to eat chips/ popcorns/ biscuits while using the remote. I had to use the alcohol wipe to clean it before using it🤢
🛀Bathroom: hygiene is acceptable, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, dryers are provided but not the tooth brush / paste. I brought my own so I didn’t ask for it.
🚿Sufficient water pressure from the shower and the bathtub did help me a lot after a long day.
🥋Bath rope and slippers are provided.
There’re a mini fridge, coffee machine, and an electric water broiler. 🤢however I found there’re some sediments in the broiler so I just brought the bottle water from the supermarket instead.
🍞🥖🥐Breakfast: average to good, a wide selection of pastry, and cheese. With salmon, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, hard/ soft boiled eggs, yogurts and some grannolas
💁🏻♀️Staff: attentive and kind
- i didn’t wait for too long for check in, waiting time was just around 5 mins, since I arrived at around 12 and I just asked whether my room was ready and the reception was kind to help me to see whether early check in was possible! Lucky me, I could get my room earlier.
- The reception also helped me to receive my delivery and stored it for me until I returned to the hotel. Thank you so much for helping me out.
🫤The day before the last day, I checked with the counter at the breakfast receptionist that she said she didn’t find my record for the breakfast on my last day (the check out day), she advised me to purchase for the extra breakfast, if I wanted. However, when I looked at my hotel booking that it’s included. so if you are also booked with the breakfast, make sure you double check with them.

UUsuario invitadoNice hotel, good location. We rented a suite for a combined business and pleasure trip. Hotel is rights above a supermarket. Be careful!! Supermarket delivery trucks keep you from sleeping at night. Also Internet connection not working. Strongly recommend to not stay here. At least not when you are expecting a good night sleep.....Only poor excuse was offered. Friendly staff, just noisy rooms. Stay away!

SShazz StoneWhere to begin with my experience with Holiday Inn Express in Rdam.
Booking via Trip was easy and clear. When I asked the hotel about parking availability, they responded promptly via the messaging option. And upon my arrival, check in went quite well. The ”hygienic displeasures” started when I arrived to my room.
My first room was on the 3rd floor and when I arrived I decided to charge my phone, and look around the room. I saw that they had a little leaflet about pillowcomfort next to the bed, which resulted in me picking up one of the pillows. I noticed that under the pillow there were quite an amount of ”man hairs” stuck to the sheet. I decided open the bedsheets and to my unpleasant surprise, found even more. I contemplated in that moment what to do, decided to take a video and walk down to reception.
(Before walking down I decided to check the bathroom and noticed red lipstick on my bathroom glass and a very intense urine smell. So besides a bed full of hairs, they supply dirty glasses to guests too)
When I got down I politely asked one of the reception staff to look at the video and if they could help me change to a clean room. The lady apologized, she was visibly disgusted by the photos and video and changed me to the 5th floor. She asked me to check upon arrival if the new room had anything amiss, and if so, to come back down.
To my second- unpleasant surprise: this bedding had the same issue, besides some wear- and tear issues too. I went down to reception again and asked if she could follow me up. I apologised for making her shift difficult and showed her the bedding. She actually gasped with suprise and disgust. She apologized again, asked me to have a seat downstairs at the bar and offered me a drink whilst I waited for her to change my room again.
The 3rd room she changed me to, she personally checked. That room had no issues and was properly cleaned. Though after 1.5 hours of changing rooms- and waiting and a 18 hour travel, the whole check in experience was horrible.
This hotel has a supreme location, with that location you pay a price. For the price I paid and the unhygienic mess I got, this hotel is not worth it.
Secondly: One dirty room might actually be a mistake. But two? With this experience they tried to offer me free drink vouchers. But to be honest, that is nowhere near good enough for what I've seen that afternoon.
The breakfast buffet is very minimal and mediocre. You pay €25 to €32 per day for parking and their rooms arent exactly cheap either.
I must say that reception was trying to be really helpful, but this establishment needs to have a talk with their cleaning crew. Additionally: when I checked in the ladies behind the counter wore their uniform. But the gentleman in the middle wore a tracksuit, couldn't bother to greet guests and just didn't add to the ”hotel picture”.
My experience here wasn't great, I would not recommend this hotel and advise people to book something else in the area.

LLilyminimiThis hotel is located in the city centre, right to some iconic buildings, with the food hall just walking distance. There is also a big supermarket on the opposite side of the street. Very convenient. Staff are also very nice, and the breakfast is tasty. The hotel have rooms with riverside views, would be nice to have a room with a view. The room size is good, but there is no kettle or cups for drinks. However, as mentioned, you are not too far from all actions and food options.

UUsuario invitadoBueno, bueno. En general el hotel está bien. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y las camas cómodas. Hay un secador de pelo y la presión del agua en la ducha es buena. Desafortunadamente, solo hay tres enchufes en la habitación, uno de los cuales tuvo que ser utilizado por el calentador eléctrico porque el aire acondicionado no funcionaba en absoluto. Los dos puertos USB al lado de la cama no funcionaban. La habitación también era muy pequeña en general y el calefactor naturalmente ocupaba espacio adicional. El resto del hotel es bastante anticuado. El pasillo estaba lleno de viejas manchas de vómito. Para ocultar probablemente muchas cosas, las paredes de los pasillos fueron pintadas de un color extremadamente oscuro. El aspecto del hotel probablemente debería ser “urbano”, pero eso es más una cuestión de gustos. El desayuno estaba bien y el café también era muy bueno. El aparcamiento cuesta 20€ por noche y no está cubierto. Además, la entrada es extremadamente estrecha, por lo que es mejor llegar con un coche pequeño. Pensamos que el hotel no valía el precio y no volveríamos.
