Bbq dinner for two is included and we added some sashimi and watch beef from the supermarket nearby. Alcohol drinks, breakfast is also included in the package, it is relatively a good deal. We are lucky to have the room without an objects blocking the Mt Fuji so all pictures are lovely. Staff is professional and great, detail explained everything we need to know. Fireworks are available at your own cost, we played after dinner although it is freezing cold (-2℃) that night. We hop into the outdoor spa after indoor shower, amenities and shower equipments are provided and they are high quality brands!!! Worth everything and long drive to go there! 10/10

A very well decorated free standing home that perfectly suits our family group of 5 (or up to 10 members). We loved the double volume floorplan. It's equipped with everything you'd want in a home, including a washing machine, a separate dryer, fridge, rice cooker, microwave, ceiling fan, decorative fireplace, and even a BBQ out on a patio, which gives you view of Mt. Fuji! It has two toilets and two bathrooms and a jacuzzi. The location is perfect being just a short stroll away from lake Yamanako. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

A short drive from Lake Yamanaka, we checked into here for the night—mainly because we wanted to explore the area and try the region’s famous Hōtō noodles. We chose a traditional Japanese futon room for the experience. That meant laying out our own beds—slightly clumsy, a bit of trial and error, and a lot of laughing when we realised there’s no “redo” once everything’s set. The weather had a chill to it, so the onsen became the highlight. Stepping into the hot water while the cold air lingered outside—it slowed everything down in a way you don’t realise you need. Nothing extravagant, nothing overly planned. Just the four of us, figuring things out as we went. Looking back, it wasn’t the hotel or even the lake—it was those small, unpolished moments that made the night feel complete.

This hotel may be a bit remote, but that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful—and absolutely perfect if you’re hoping to catch the sunrise. While you can’t see Mt. Fuji directly from the room, you only need to step out onto the road in front of the hotel to get an incredible view. I highly recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise over Mt. Fuji—it’s truly unforgettable. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which is super convenient. I strongly recommend biking along the nearby cycling and walking paths; there’s a beautiful lakeside area with stunning, unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji, and best of all, it’s completely quiet with hardly anyone around. The owner is very warm and welcoming. We rented a car so we didn’t need the free station pick-up service, but it’s great that they offer it—it makes getting there easy even without a car. Just make sure to buy any food or drinks you’ll need in advance, since there aren’t any stores or restaurants nearby. The room was very spacious, well-equipped, and had a lovely traditional Japanese inn vibe. It was such a relaxing stay—I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful with a touch of old-school charm.
