Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

Was impressed by the excellent service provided by Kim at the front desk, she handled our check-in efficiently. The rest of the team were also warm and friendly, and spoke fluent English. Something interesting was a self-serve room where you can get extra amenities like face wash and bar soaps, and also try different types of Okinawan brown sugar. There were lots of board games available so families would probably appreciate that. We truly enjoyed the view from our room as it had a good angle of the sea even though the hotel isn’t located at the beach. The room was huge and even had a freezer and an oven. For longer stays or if you’re visiting the beach often, the washer dryer would come in handy as well. The hotel had two restaurants for breakfast and although the variety was great, with a good mix of local and international cuisine, the quality could be improved. We had lunch on our first day and regretted our decision. Location-wise, the hotel would be better for those who intend to drive as it was quite a walk to the nearest bus stop, and the shuttle bus service was infrequent so we ended up not using it at all. 初めて、リッツカールトン沖縄に滞在しました。 クリスマス前なのもあり、エントランス入ると大きなツリーがありとっても素敵でした。 リッツカールトンの好きなところは、大きいホテルなのにも関わらずのんびりと静かに過ごせるところです。 お部屋も広くて本当にゆっくりと時間を過ごせました。 少し気になった点はシャワールームが少し匂う気がしました。

El entorno de alojamiento muy perfecto, nuestras 6 viviendas grandes y pequeñas son muy satisfechas, 3 habitaciones en el piso inferior, hay cocina, sala de estar, silencio sin confusión, cerca de 7-11 y supermercado, cualquier problema se puede resolver inmediatamente, una casa excelente.

Me alojé una noche en la sexta planta de este hotel para ir al Acuario Churaumi de Okinawa. Es un poco antiguo, pero forma parte del ambiente 😊. La habitación está muy limpia. Agradezco el servicio de recepción, que nos ayudó a encontrar un centro médico cercano para extranjeros. Al principio, la habitación parece tenue, pero se puede encender la luz del techo con un control remoto. Quizás fuimos en temporada baja, así que había suficiente espacio de aparcamiento detrás del hotel. Me gustó el tendedero para colgar la ropa. Vi gente practicando deportes acuáticos en el parque de enfrente y lo pasé genial paseando por allí. La zona de desayuno tiene una bonita vista del océano. Hay un restaurante Lawson al lado del hotel. A 10 minutos en coche del centro comercial Aeon de Nago y un excelente paseo por la costa de vuelta a la ciudad.

El apartamento de estilo japonés tiene algunos techos viejos en las habitaciones con techos mohosos y papel tapiz despegado en las paredes. No tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. Buena ubicación en el hotel, tiene 2 estacionamientos con estacionamiento gratuito. Hay microondas, refrigerador y lavadora.

For a decent price you get a convenient location not too far from the bus stop. The hotel has everything that is needed, and if you don't need cleaning, they treat you with 2 free items of your choice (beverages or ice cream). There is a public bath on the top floor (artificial onsen). The water temperature was 43 degrees (they have the thermometer), but it is open air, so it was comfortable. The staff was ready to help even during the night, and they allowed me to extend my stay for 2 hours. The hotel is not far from the road, but it was quiet during the night. Also, there is Nago port nearby, so, you can take a boat to Motobu port at 10am, which is really convenient.

Condujimos hasta el campus principal para pasar la noche. Elegimos este hotel porque podíamos registrarnos antes de la medianoche y había un aparcamiento cercano por 700 yenes la noche. Las instalaciones del hotel no son nuevas, y había un olor peculiar en el pasillo, pero no en la habitación ni en el baño. La habitación era espaciosa, el agua estaba caliente, el aire acondicionado era potente y la cama era grande, pero un poco blanda.

El hotel es un alojamiento de estilo apartamento (o residencia) sin cuenta de entrada formal ni tripulación. El guardaespaldas era lo suficientemente fuerte como para ver que luchamos frente a la puerta a través de la TV CCTV, y luego caminó del edificio y hizo el check-in para nosotros. La ubicación no es grande, adyacente a un cementerio y con sólo una tienda de conveniencia accesible a pie (no hay otras tiendas alrededor).

盲選的新酒店還不錯 很安靜適合度假 附近有便利店和幾家飯店三四天是沒問題的 也可以坐公交出去玩整體還是比較滿意的 就是海邊的小童娛樂設施很煞風景 本來特別純凈的海放了顯得很土（最後一張圖）
