UUsuario invitadoIncredible stay! We booked a night here after a disaster at a neighbouring hotel and our stay was one of the best in Indonesia. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with astonishing hospitality from all the staff members but especially Reza who went above and beyond to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable in the hotel. The facilities are top quality, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The gardens and hotel grounds are extremely well maintained, beautiful, and have lots of space for relaxation or, if you have kids, spaces to keep kids entertained. The hotel has ample options for food/drink and also entertainment and also offers tours of the local area. It was also my girlfriend's birthday and the staff again put in genuine effort to make it a really special day for her, we are extremely grateful for their efforts - 5 star service.
I can strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an escape from the city and to be near mount merapi or who wants a bit of relaxation.

My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now.
PRE-STAY
Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this.
What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well.
I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate.
*see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable.
STAY
I love it when :
- the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting.
- Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott.
- we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands.
- they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function.
- we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy.
Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s).
These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp.

NNuy26El hotel es estratégico, hay muchas opciones de comida, al lado del hotel Alfamart, lo que es único es que hay un tobogán en el interior por lo que los niños definitivamente estarán felices, el desayuno es variado y bastante sabroso, la habitación está bien, solo que no hay armario y secador de pelo a petición, lo que es aún más genial es que hay Nescafé Dolce Gusto en la habitación.

Highlights of my stay:
Exceptional Staff: The team is fantastic—always smiling, friendly, and incredibly helpful with any request.
Prime & Peaceful Location: The hotel is located in a quiet, silent area which ensures a great night's sleep, yet it remains in an excellent position to reach all the main local attractions quickly.
Fantastic Facilities: The rooftop and swimming pool are beautiful—the perfect place to unwind. Plus, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable throughout the hotel.
Gym: The gym is a bit small, but I always found it free and available whenever I needed to use it.
Delicious Breakfast: An excellent breakfast with plenty of high-quality options.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yogyakarta

DDon Thusitha - AustraliaComo miembro de Accor Hotels, reservamos hoteles de mercurio en Jakarta y otros países en general. Aquí me quedé 2 noches en este Grand Mecure , Yog Yakarta. En primer lugar, este hotel es super hermoso y decorado, dando valor a la cultura y a los signos de patrimonio. En todos los lugares donde los artefactos del hotel se corresponden con el patrimonio Borobudur, prambanan.
El personal es muy agradable, amable y siempre con un buen sonrisa, útil y de apoyo. Las habitaciones son excelentes. Se deben colocar palabras especiales aquí sobre el desayuno . Puedes tener varias opciones. Incluyendo comida e bebidas tradicionales indonésias occidentales, orientales y tradicionales, creo que es mejor romper las elecciones rápidas que he visto hasta ahora.
El hotel está muy bien, pero no es un hotel muy agradable. Aunque un poco lejos de Malioboro Street, permanecer aquí es totalmente lo que vale.

BBumpySólo 2 buenas cosas sobre este hotel: servicio y desayuno difundido - estas son 5 estrellas! 👍
El resto no cumple las expectativas.
1. La ubicación está lejos de la ciudad y el aeropuerto.
2. Las instalaciones son muy viejas. Muchas cosas se están rompiendo y aún no se han sustituido o reparado.
3. Porque todo es viejo y fechado, también parecen sucios.
4. La presión del agua del duche es muy baja.
Reservé aquí porque el evento que iba a ser fue acogido en este hotel. Me alegro de no haber prolongado mi estancia después del evento. Lo siento, pero no recomendaré este hotel.

Ssulis candraSituación estratégica, alrededor de muchos centros por atravesar, hay también una calle, cerca de Transmart a pie, cerca del aeropuerto, habitaciones limpias. La habitación está muy bien, pero no es muy fácil. No hay piscina ni gimnasio, por lo que hay sólo para descansar/dormir.

NNenengLa ubicación está muy cerca de la atracción turística de lava. La habitación es bastante limpia, pero hay algunas instalaciones que carecen un poco, como el baño no ha sido mejorado y hay muchas partes del edificio que pueden necesitar ser reparadas. El hotel está muy bien situado, el personal del hotel es muy amable.
