stayed at Discovery SCBD Jakarta for 3 nights from Sunday to Wednesday during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience throughout my stay. The hotel's location is one of its biggest advantages. Situated directly opposite Pacific Place Mall in the heart of the SCBD area, it offers easy access to restaurants, cafés, shopping and office buildings, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travellers. The room was modern, spacious and exceptionally clean. My favourite feature was definitely the in-room coffee machine. As someone who starts the day with coffee and often works late during business trips, being able to enjoy a freshly brewed cup in the comfort of my room was a thoughtful touch that I truly appreciated. The large work desk by the window was also perfect for catching up on work after office hours, while the comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. I also enjoyed the breakfast concept. Instead of a traditional buffet, guests order their preferred dishes from a menu. I appreciated this approach as it helps reduce unnecessary food waste while ensuring that the meals are freshly prepared. What impressed me most was the speed of service — despite being individually prepared, the food was served promptly without a long wait, making breakfast both convenient and enjoyable before heading out for the day. The lobby and common areas are stylish, modern and well maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment of arrival. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient throughout my stay, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Discovery SCBD Jakarta exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, convenience and thoughtful amenities. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Jakarta and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the SCBD area.

This hotel despite being a old hotel is still very well maintained. Staffs are well trained, speaks excellent English. Service was impeccable at breakfast. I am impressed at the service of 2 staffs at Satoo, a Mas Firman and Mbak Bunga. Excellent service This hotel deserves the moniker of grand old dame

New try in Jakarta and another apartment type room. Plenty of space but a bit dated and rough on the edges. Location is quite allright and plenty f&b options around or within a short ride. Good cleaning and no street noise, but a bit thin walls to screaming tantrum kid next door. Breakfast spread was good and nice and helpful staff. This was a step up from Manhattan down the street but still not the greatest value for money. Will keep it on the list for next time but might also try another option.

Everything was good.I was surprised upon entering the room as it was decorated for my advance birthday.The rooms were huge but the set back was that the interior furnitures are outdated and the breakfast was very limited.Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful and i dont mind returning to this hotel again if i were to come to jakarta again due to its strategic location and i will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as complimentary bottled water, quality toiletries, and fresh towels provided every day. The housekeeping team did an excellent job of keeping the room spotless throughout my stay. One of the highlights of this hotel was its location. It was conveniently situated near restaurants, shopping areas, and popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city without spending too much time travelling. Public transportation was also easily accessible, which added to the convenience. The hotel facilities were equally impressive. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing, providing a perfect place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The fitness centre was well-equipped with modern machines, and the free Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable throughout the property. I also enjoyed spending time in the lobby, which had a cosy atmosphere and comfortable seating areas. Breakfast was another standout feature. There was a wide variety of delicious food, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, local dishes, and international options. Everything was well-prepared and regularly replenished. The restaurant staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring that guests had everything they needed. What impressed me the most was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered was polite, helpful, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome. Whenever I requested assistance, they responded promptly and efficiently, always with a positive attitude. Although no hotel is absolutely perfect, I found very few things to complain about. If I had to mention one small issue, it would be that the walls were slightly thin, so I could occasionally hear noise from the hallway. However, this was only a minor inconvenience and did not significantly affect my overall experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay. Whether you are travelling for business, a family holiday, or a romantic getaway, this hotel offers excellent value for money and outstanding hospitality. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta se encuentra en una excelente ubicación, ya que el centro comercial Kota Casablanca está a solo 3 minutos a pie. La decoración y el diseño del hotel eran impresionantes. La habitación era espaciosa y muy limpia. El personal fue cortés y amable. Nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. El desayuno era enorme y la comida era deliciosa. La habitación en la que me alojé tenía problemas de aire acondicionado y los técnicos no pudieron resolverlo. Me ofrecieron trasladarme a otra habitación en el mismo piso; era una oferta justa. Si vuelvo a Yakarta, ¡espero volver a alojarme aquí!

Good facilities for fitness center, swimming with cold and warm indoor pool. Breakfast is decent with combination of asian and western food.

A mixed bag of feelings here. I thought I was feeling lucky when they told me at check-in that I was getting a complimentary upgrade (to Deluxe) Unfortunately I was plagued with a number of recurrent issues. The room itself is very nice (311), best thing about it was the bed and the views into the city by the window. With that said, it did have a number of issues, so it was not the finished article in my mind (the safe locked without instructions, the wooden strip on the floor coming off making me trip, the kettle malfunctioning, not hot water on the basin, so had to use the kettle to shave daily) When I arrived, it had not been fully cleaned (see pictures) All of these were actually minor issues vs. other stuff I experienced, I didn't make much of it as I was getting an upgrade. The problems came a few days later when it started raining, and suddenly I was getting sore throats in the room with the temp marking almost 25c and the air con off. I had to take mucolytics and anti-flu tablets cause I was getting a bad cold there. I was wondering if the air conduct were releasing bad spores into the air because it was so tatty (pictures attached) So with no heating, I got cold there with 27c outside, I find this very very strange. But the much bigger problem was a few days later when I was hearing massive thumps, bangs and wall stomping from the room right above me, they had placed a family with 4 kids on top of me and it went on at all times in the evening. It got so bad that I requested a change of room, and surprise, they gave me a really REALLY bad downgrade to the 17th floor in a much smaller room, on a really grotty floor that looked like a 2 star highway motel. I thought maybe they were penalising me. The staff at reception told me the next day the people checked out, but the same noises continued another 2 days, so they lied to me or they placed another family with noisy children. The floor on top is super thin. You can hear anyone walking as if they re stomping on it.It will drive you crazy. I also heard people next door hammering something at 1 am in the morning for two nights straight. This hotel has big structural problems. I don't pay $520 to get tortured, it felt like it at some point. On a separate note, the breakfast service was more like a brunch, very varied and many choices (except for meat and fish that was very underwhelming) They had a temp control management problem, there were mornings when I touched the trays and they were at room temp. Also the plates for the hot section are not heated, so that with the powerful air con overhead translated into your hot food going lukewarm almost immediately, which makes it taste disgusting. It was only the last 2 or 3 days when I started placing my plates on the griddle for a few mins with the staff's permission, when I could finally start eating hot food. Due to this, I was getting ”stomach runs” every single day after breakfast, except for two days. This is a breach of H&S So there are several issues that affected my health here. The restaurant and cafe in the evening had some good meals. The Mexican had some Western tucker that I enjoyed, my last meal (Mexican enchiladas) was underwhelming, felt like cantine food that was microwaved and badly, because I had to send it back for being lukewarm. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel due to numerous health problems I suffered. I also discovered that if it weren't for the upgrade, I would have been given a horrible room like the one I saw quite possibly.(the room I received cost almost $1000 for two weeks, still very overpriced) This wasn't cheap, and I feel it was so expensive for what it was. Definitely not a 4 star, a 3 star is more befitting. The staff was mostly corteous, And premises are up to standard only in places. The gym was very nice. The pool area nice with some views, if only a little tiny..

The room was quite clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. The dining and cooking utensils were fairly complete. The TV and sound system facilities have improved compared to before and are now better. The room was cool, the amenities were complete, and overall it was quite comfortable to stay in. Perhaps the water gallon could be given a bit more attention, as the water had a slight metallic smell when we were there. This might come from either the water itself or the dispenser. However, overall the place is comfortable and I would recommend it for staying.
