El hotel está situado en el mar, a 30 minutos a pie del puerto, con un hermoso jardín. Las piscinas son muy agradables y los transats confortables. El personal es agradable, sonriente, pero no en el nivel de un hotel de esta estacion. Existen problemas de formación evidentes: mesa no necesariamente desmontada, incumplimiento de las órdenes. Le ménage n'a pas été très bien réalisé dans les chambres, et souvent il a fallu réclamer à l'accueil pour que ce soit corrigé. Lamento haber pagado un suplemento por una suite, mientras que con una habitación clásica vista mar la vista era mucho más hermosa, y las instalaciones de la habitación clásica eran mejores: I was missing on my terrace of what to put the wet clothes to make them dry, in the bathroom no tablets to put the business, it's really problematic for a establishment of this standing. De même que dans l'armoire, impossible de poser les vêtements, je dois les laisser sur le bureau alors qu'il y a beaucoup d'espace vide qui aurait pu servir d'étagere. Ce n'est pas normal. Le service automobilier est appréciable. En general estoy satisfecho de mi estancia, pero hay que tener cuidado, porque el precio es alto y las prestaciones no necesariamente en el nivel. 

Este hotel es un excelente hotel situado justo en la antigua ciudad de Rethymno. El personal era increíblemente amable y ansioso por compartir consejos y recomendaciones locales, lo que hizo que mi estancia fuera aún más agradable. El desayuno ofrece una selección continental clásica, incluyendo huevos frescos, salsa, pan, pasteles y frutas. Si bien la piscina está en el lado más pequeño, fue un bono lindo y un gran lugar para descansar después de un día de vista. Me quedaría feliz de nuevo en mi próxima visita a Rethymno.

Location was great, walking distance to beach, town, restaurants, bars and shops. Beautiful clean and spacious room with excellent hosts.

This hotel was amazing. One of my top 3 favorites in Crete. I highly recommend staying here. I only wish I stayed two nights here. Definitely worth it. Breakfast read included and an amazing selection. They even gave me a little gift when checking out. I would remove this to anyone coming to Crete.

Breakfast was good, but sortiment of food wasn't explained, without captions, and cook at eggs was very unpleasant.

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

Hotel muy limpio y muy bien entretenido el único problema: no hay congelación delantera, no hay champú y nadie habla francés y ningún esfuerzo para intentar hacerlo comprender al señor de la recepción. Un buen punto para el personal de servicio.
