Very clean, cozy, and close to Stonehenge. Owners are wonderful. Fantastic stay.

Felt super scary at first with the cracking floor, tilted walls, big mirror, and 512 years history, but later the place showed its charm - very lively at night with people chilling at the backyard, nice restaurant on site, being right opposite to the Anne? Gate which leads you to the Salisbury Cathedral. I prob would choose to stay here again next time I visit Salisbury! Btw the staff are warm hearted and helped us deal with our Apple Watch forgot in the room. Much appreciated!

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was top floor which made all the difference to how settled I felt (it’s my preference). Room was quiet, comfy, and had plenty of space just for me. Would stay again. Only niggle is I wished breakfast started an hour earlier ok the weekend… 7am would’ve been ideal.

La ubicación está cerca de la iglesia, el lugar es excelente, y el estacionamiento es gratuito. El tamaño de la habitación es moderado, la cama no es grande, sólo tengo 170 cm de altura. La comida de desayuno es buena, hay muchas opciones. Sólo el aislamiento de la habitación no es bueno, oirá el ruido de agua de la habitación vecina. Afortunadamente, los huéspedes se han convertido en adultos, todos se han disciplinado, y el ruido no es muy problemático.

I had a pleasant stay at The George Hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for visiting Stonehenge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the heating with adjustable temperature was a big plus during winter. Breakfast was served on time and was decent. Overall, a good value stay with a great location.

Very beautiful place. Nice location to visit Old Sarum, Stonehenge or even only Salisbury. Staff are friendly. Beautiful views through the window. Bed is really comfy.
