UUsuario invitadoThe room we booked was converted from a mews, which was a completely new experience for us and quite surprising in an interesting way.
Almost everything else was fantastic. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent — you really have to try the Indian spice omelette. They also serve coffee and tea to your table instead of self-service, which felt very decent and welcoming. The breakfast staff in particular were warm and attentive.
However, because the room was converted from a mews, the facilities have some limitations. The ventilation is not good, and we experienced allergy symptoms after having the air conditioner on all night during winter. There was no proper heater in the room, so we had to rely on the air conditioner for warmth, and it took about 15–20 minutes to start working. Also, it did not feel very clean when in use.
Another downside is that there is no real window — only the mews door — which makes the room feel a bit closed-in and affects air circulation.
Overall, this hotel offers wonderful staff and an amazing breakfast, but the room facilities and ventilation, especially in the converted mews rooms, could be improved. If you are sensitive to air quality or prefer natural light and windows, I would recommend choosing other places or other rooms instead of the mews-style rooms.

UUsuario invitadoThe Caboose staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay enjoyable. However, the experience could be improved with a few more amenities, and the bed could have been a bit larger. We enjoyed our breakfast and they gave us free cookies in the evening.

LLuFelt super scary at first with the cracking floor, tilted walls, big mirror, and 512 years history, but later the place showed its charm - very lively at night with people chilling at the backyard, nice restaurant on site, being right opposite to the Anne? Gate which leads you to the Salisbury Cathedral. I prob would choose to stay here again next time I visit Salisbury!
Btw the staff are warm hearted and helped us deal with our Apple Watch forgot in the room. Much appreciated!

GGlennPleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was top floor which made all the difference to how settled I felt (it’s my preference). Room was quiet, comfy, and had plenty of space just for me. Would stay again. Only niggle is I wished breakfast started an hour earlier ok the weekend… 7am would’ve been ideal.

SShawn_S.I had a pleasant stay at The George Hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for visiting Stonehenge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the heating with adjustable temperature was a big plus during winter. Breakfast was served on time and was decent. Overall, a good value stay with a great location.

El tamaño de la habitación es moderado, la cama no es grande, sólo tengo 170 cm de altura. La comida de desayuno es buena, hay muchas opciones. Sólo el aislamiento de la habitación no es bueno, oirá el ruido de agua de la habitación vecina. Afortunadamente, los huéspedes se han convertido en adultos, todos se han disciplinado, y el ruido no es muy problemático.

EEujene LiyuWe were there for one night. Service was okay, breakfast was good, although other guests were acting as if they were deprived of any food for days and the poor staffs were struggling to replenish the trays. Other than that, all good.
