TTigeyI very much liked my stay here, the room was clean and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had everything I needed, and the hotel location was good as it was near Dingsheng Plaza and also along a north-south main road that many major routes in the city travel on. The front desk staff spoke no English, and I only speak very basic Mandarin, but they were able to still fully assist me and help me check in and check out, especially Yun Zhan (云湛), who explained everything with hand gestures and simple words and demonstrated how to do some things too. Thank you very much! This was the first time I stayed at an Atour hotel but I was impressed and would definitely stay here or at another Atour hotel again. There was also free laundry but I did not know how to use it and it was outside the room and down a busy elevator so I never tried it in the end. :D
There are very few negatives and most of them are not fixable. One is that I did not like that the toilet was in another room from the bathroom, as I use all of them together and so I had to go back and forth between the two rooms a lot. A second that can be negative for some people is that there was a lot of honking from vehicles, 24 hours a day. However, I actually liked this because the sound was muted, so there was a ”far away busy city” vibe that made me happy. Lastly, the free night time porridge was very watery and not nice at all when I tried it.

UUsuario invitado朋友出行選擇了柏曼酒店，在鬧市區，離湛江好吃街步行才幾分鐘，酒店很乾凈，衞生狀況非常好，床品也是非常優質，美美地睡了個好覺，最滿意的要數衞生間內的洗衣機了，一路的疲憊和舟車勞頓，到這裏全部被安頓好了。酒店整個走廊都瀰漫著香香的味道，前台還免費給升級了房型，真的是價廉物美的選擇！

From the moment I arrived, the reception staff made me feel welcome with their attentive and friendly service. They were always on hand to answer questions and assist with any requests I had. The room itself was impressively spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. I was delighted to find complimentary fruits and desserts delivered every night, a lovely thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience. Additionally, the cleaning staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring that everything was spotless and that my needs were met without hesitation. The hotel’s amenities were exceptional, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property.

LLizzie OEl hotel es un hotel con una ubicación muy agradable, a pocos pasos del centro comercial, y se encuentra en una situación muy agradable. En general, el servicio del escritorio frontal fue amable y útil.
Desayuno: La oferta se centró en carbohidratos de pila como arroz, congelo, nueces y cucharas. Sin embargo, dado que el restaurante del hotel se especializa en la suma local de la dim, sentiu como una oportunidad perdida de no mostrar algunos de estos artículos de firma en el desayuno buffet. Una selección curada habría aumentado la comida de simplemente llenar a una experiencia más distintiva y agradable.

En nuestra primera habitación, encontramos un problema persistente con un baño defectuoso, pero mientras que el escritorio delantero fue responsable de ofrecer un cambio de habitación, el proceso se confundió debido a mensajes conflictivos de diferentes miembros del personal. La situación no se solucionó hasta que se comunicara firmemente nuestra necesidad de cambiar de habitación.
Una pequeña sugerencia para mejorar el servicio sería una asistencia más proactiva con el equipaje, especialmente para los huéspedes mayores, cuando esté disponible el personal.
En resumen, este hotel tiene fuertes posiciones: una ubicación excelente y habitaciones limpias y confortables. Con algunos refinamientos, especialmente para aumentar su fuerza culinaria en el desayuno, tiene un claro potencial para ser excelente.

SShao PingLocation was good as it was the closest hotel to where our relatives lived. Close to a Walmart and a mall, plus at night there seems to be a market that pops up. If you go towards the river, there will be fruit vendors at night too. If you are wondering if their 1.3 m twin beds can fit a couple, it’s really (really) pushing it so maybe book a room with larger beds if that is a concern.
Also, while they have a self serve laundry room, it’s only open until 10 PM and they will lock it irregardless if you have clothes in the washer and then you will have to find a staff member to unlock the door and free your clothing so please pay heed. It’s also not open in the early morning until late and shares a space with the gym (so also locked during the time when people would want to be exercising) which is weird, but the staff justifies it as not bothering the people sleeping during that time. Perhaps they should invest in soundproofing during their next renovation because it’s super inconvenient.

UUsuario invitadoBooked for 2 nights from April 29 to May 1 with the intention of booking a train ticket to Haikou on May 1.
Owing to the day being peak holiday in China, I was unable to get a ticket until May 3 with boarding time at 2200 hr.
The receptionist checked and allowed me to booked the extra 2 nights at the same rate as my earlier booking.
She granted permission to check out on the last day at 3 pm and stow my luggages until 6 pm. This has saved me the booking for an extra night.
The location is ideal for travellers. It located right in front of pedestrian mall which has a wide variety of international foods, foods from various Chinese provinces, Japanese, Korean and westerns, all at prices far below those in Guangzhou, Guangdong Shenzhen, Chaozhou,
It's 15 mins walk to the old town where iconic ancient wells are located on narrow lanes between colonial buildings, and assorted delicious foods.
The hotel is just RMB 20 by DIDI to Jinshawan and RMB 30 to the Fisherman Wharf.
The hotel staffs are amazingly polite and helpful.
I will highly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

20250207-08 Struggling to find reception, as on 2nd floor in building of shopping centre. They do not understand! Just keep saying don't understand: ”wǒ tīng bù dǒng”. Not helpful at all! Just keep on typing on translator and not in WeChat.
Very difficult to know where to park in parking garage beneath the shopping centre building. After driving around, found a sign to hotel, but not at entrance to parking garage.
Morning staff as unfriendly as evening staff. Just shouting at me! I kept on saying ”Weixin”. Lateron she registered...
The trip.com awards were for 2020 and 2022 - definitely not for reception staff in 2025! 😰
