Es en un hermoso edificio antiguo, muy bien conservado y renovado, y en una gran ubicación: en la antigua ciudad de Xidi, pero un poco más aislada, en la zona más tranquila y menos turística. La habitación era muy confortable, cómoda y muy elegante, incluso tenía un pequeño estudio anejo con escritorio y libros interesantes con un buen conjunto de té y caldera disponible. El hotel es muy agradable y útil, vino a recogernos y nos dejó en la estación de autobuses al final de nuestra estancia.
Sólo un comentario negativo: la ventana de la habitación está al lado de la carretera principal, así que puedes oír todos los coches pasando. Pero incluso entonces, una gran estancia!

UUsuario invitadoMi familia y yo (5 de nosotros) tuvimos recientemente el placer de permanecer en esta encantadora estancia en Hongcun durante dos días y una noche, y fue una experiencia maravillosa desde el principio hasta el final. El edificio, que se encuentra en la historia a 400 años de edad, está situado cerca de la entrada occidental, con acceso a una brisa. A pesar de que inicialmente reservaba tres habitaciones específicas, no estaban disponibles debido a la renovación, pero me dieron otras tres habitaciones que parecían más espaciosas, lo que fue una agradable sorpresa.
El barrio se siente increíblemente bienvenido, con un ambiente acogedor de estilo salón, y hay un lindo café a la izquierda y un almacén de recuerdos a la derecha, añadiendo un agradable toque de comodidad y encanto mientras caminas hacia el área de estar. Wan Jie (la hermana mayor Wan), la anfitrión, fue muy hospitalaria y atenta, y su calor brilló desde nuestra primera llamada telefónica, a la que respondió con alegría al tiempo que nos ayudaba a organizar nuestra recolección, ya que los coches no están permitidos en Hongcun, un sitio de Patrimonio de la UNESCO.
El restaurante se encuentra en un lugar tranquilo y pintoresco, donde mi familia y yo podríamos haber pasado más tiempo. Aunque era demasiado frío para usar durante mi visita, el estadío también cuenta con una piscina que sería perfecta para los días de verano.
Al final de nuestra estancia, Wan Jie fue arriba y más allá, acompañandonos a la salida del pueblo para esperar a nuestro conductor, asegurándonos de que todo se fue bien antes de decirle adiós. Es raro experimentar una hospitalidad personalizada, y nos hizo una impresionante impresión.
En base a mi experiencia positiva, recomendaría muy este estancia a cualquiera que visite Hongcun.

UUsuario invitadoMy stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather.
Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

UUsuario invitadoTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

LLipingismThis has to be the highlight of this trip to China.
Tachuan is almost a complete resort by itself. We had tea by the creek, main meals overlooking a gorgeous paddy field, read near a stream. There are little activity areas dotted around the resort where you can experience dressing in hanfu, practise the zither, as well as play chess or practise your calligraphy.
The staff has to be the best I encountered this whole travel, they went over and above what they needed to do, including bringing us on a hike to the nearby National Park. The National Park is a nice area to spend a morning at.
Ducks and rabbits wander freely in the estate, and there are 2 adorable cats.
There is free transport to or from Hong Cun, which is a Unesco village. Personally, I should have just explored Hong Cun for a afternoon and still return to stay another night at Ta Chuan, instead of spending one night at Hong Cun

CCharlie M DeanZhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others!
Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you.
The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable.
Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests.
Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water.
The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

LLancerottiNicolaThe Homestay is located not far from two of the entrances to the village of Hongcun, and one of the owners came and picked us up at the gates, and offered to carry our luggage. The house is very real, they have three lovely pets and are extremely welcoming and helpful. I speak a little Chinese so communication was fairly easy, but with the translation apps I guess it would be as easy. The owner was kind to explain a couple of things about the village and to give us helpful informations on our trip to Huangshan of the following day. She even made a phone call to ensure we could buy tickets at the departure of the cable cars. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is what we were looking for. Kindness and true people, and a charming room facing an extremely quiet (the village is loud of tourist shops) inner yard

Desde el primer día de su estancia, el hardware del hotel no tiene que decirlo. El servicio también hace que el verdadero cuidadoso y entusiasta de los responsables de la entusiasmo, y se ha contactado con usted para preguntar si no hay problemas y necesidades después de añadir una microscritura ¡Para, cuidadosamente, la habitación de tres personas se ha reforzado a la casa de dos personas, lo que sorprende mucho esta estadía, todos los padres están muy felices! UUsuario invitadoThe Inn is located inside the Scenic area, the room is clean but relatively small especially the bathroom. The soundproofing is poor as you can hear clearly what’s happening at the next room. The common area at the ground floor is a bit messy. Quite dark at night.
The only plus point is the Inn is located inside the Scenic area.
Actually the Inn’s location is a bit difficult for a traveler to find, if the owner hadn’t come out to fetch me, I wouldn’t have been able to find the Inn at all. Besides that, the pathway at the Scenic area is made of stone, full of potholes and quite dirty, thus it’d be a nightmare to pull a luggage all the way from the bus station to the Inn.
The Scenic area has become too commercial and super crowded, it is impossible to have a nice and quiet stroll to enjoy the scenery. The only time you can have a quiet walk is before 6am morning. I myself will definitely not coming back.
