Perfect stay in the clouds resort. We spent five nights here. I am living in Chiba for 18 years. This is the best stay in hotel since I am here. The village is touristic, but authentic and quiet in night. It’s a mix of ancient village, water, nature. The dream China. The resort is perfectly located on the side of the lake. The common parts are wonderful, from the term, the garden, the courtyards. You can feel the soul of the country here, built by multiple generations. The rooms are traditional but beautiful and extremely well equipped with huge shower, Japanese toilets, huge bathtub. There is 3 courtyards, all original and authentic. You feel the heat of history. The restaurant is the best of the city, for reasonable prices and tasty and comfortable settings. On the top of it, very dedicated staff, trying their best to make us happy, nice breakfast, nice afternoon tea, tea ceremony… we can be only grateful to have the pleasure to stay here. Fast train station is just ten minutes away…

My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

This has to be the highlight of this trip to China. Tachuan is almost a complete resort by itself. We had tea by the creek, main meals overlooking a gorgeous paddy field, read near a stream. There are little activity areas dotted around the resort where you can experience dressing in hanfu, practise the zither, as well as play chess or practise your calligraphy. The staff has to be the best I encountered this whole travel, they went over and above what they needed to do, including bringing us on a hike to the nearby National Park. The National Park is a nice area to spend a morning at. Ducks and rabbits wander freely in the estate, and there are 2 adorable cats. There is free transport to or from Hong Cun, which is a Unesco village. Personally, I should have just explored Hong Cun for a afternoon and still return to stay another night at Ta Chuan, instead of spending one night at Hong Cun

Tres meses después, mi familia y yo partimos de nuevo. Llegamos al restaurante Shedeyuan en Hongcun. Regresar fue como volver a casa; la casera fue cálida y acogedora, el dueño fue cortés, e incluso nos recogió y nos dejó. Si familiares y amigos quieren volver, ¡no pueden perderse Shedeyuan! Es como otro hogar en Hongcun, un remanso de paz permanente. Recomiendo especialmente al dueño, que también es el chef principal. Su pescado mandarín apestoso y su pollo con castañas son las especialidades de Hongcun; no hay mejor comida que la que prepara el chef de Shedeyuan. Vine por primera vez en 2012 y esta es mi cuarta vez. Primavera, verano, otoño e invierno: cada visita trae sorpresas y hermosos paisajes. ¡Es un remanso de paz en medio de una vida ajetreada! ¡Muchísimas gracias a la casera, la hermana Hu, y al dueño, el hermano Xu, por su incansable dedicación a mí y a mi familia! ¡Gracias por su calidez y su inmensa gratitud!

Para quienes deseen experimentar a fondo el tranquilo estilo de vida de Huizhou, en la antigua ciudad de Hongcun, ¡esta casa de huéspedes es una excelente opción! Dos amplios patios, uno interior y otro exterior, están repletos de flores y plantas, meticulosamente cuidadas, en un entorno pintoresco, con el canto de los pájaros y el aroma de las flores. La mesa de té de tatami al aire libre evoca la sensación de un lugar tranquilo y fresco. La zona común es increíblemente espaciosa; uno podría quedarse cómodamente dentro todo el día. La terraza del segundo piso es perfecta para relajarse y tomar el sol, mientras que el mirador del tercer piso ofrece vistas panorámicas de Hongcun. Las habitaciones y las zonas comunes están decoradas con el esmero del propietario: limpias, elegantes y con buen gusto. El propietario es una persona cálida y compasiva que ha abierto una casa de huéspedes cálida y acogedora. El servicio, atento y meticuloso, me hizo sentir como en casa. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente! [Aprobado]

El jefe opera con corazón. No se puede encontrar nada de ceniza en el cuarto. Las instalaciones son más limpias que las que recogí en mi propia casa. Aunque se queda en el pueblo de Liu, esta noche es también una buena experiencia. Al salir de la habitación, el jefe me envió a la estación de pasajeros, servicio y servicio.

La ubicación está en Hongcun. El jefe es muy entusiasta y nos recogió en la entrada del área escénica. La habitación es muy agradable. Tiene calefacción por suelo radiante y está muy limpia. La cama es muy cómoda. Hace frío afuera, pero adentro hace calor. Dormí muy bien por la noche después de subir a Huangshan. El desayuno que me preparó mi tía por la mañana también está delicioso. Las batatas están muy dulces. Me levanté para ver Hongcun a las 6 de la mañana. Es muy tranquilo y hermoso. Todo vale la pena.

The place is beautiful, I am so glad that we choose to stay here. The house is a Chinese ancient style, I feel like I am in Chinese series. The owners are so kind, they came all the ways to the gate to pick us up and helping to carry our 2 big luggages. They also help me with the laundry. We slept very well and the Chinese breakfast is a lot and delicious. They have a dog and she is so cute. I definitely recommend this place.

The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

La suite de Lulu residente está muy cerca del edificio principal. No se puede decir que la habitación tiene ventanas en todas partes y es vista por todas partes. Desde la reserva del hotel, el director del hotel Jax se ha comunicado activamente, recomendó el plan de viaje, muy bueno. Todo el personal de servicio del hotel es muy educado y muy entusiasta. El hermano pequeño que conduzca un tractor debe ir al Lago Chiang. Corríamos a las 6 de la mañana, si no hay nada malo. El desayuno del hotel es muy rico, vivía tres noches y no se repetirá la comida principal todos los días. La cena del restaurante chino de la caña blanca vale la pena probar, el nivel de la cocina es bastante alto. La calidad del spa es excelente, necesita una cita previa. Yo tenía un trato a las 8:30 p.m., luego quería una hora y media antes, no hay manera de cambiarlo y está llena. Después de hacerlo, la sensación es muy valiosa. Todo el hotel vale la pena verlo bien. Además del Parque Cultural Huangshan hay una ruta de campo hacia Lu Village, hahaha
