If I could give more than 5 stars to XiuXi Anping, I absolutely would. From the moment I arrived, everything felt intentional and thoughtfully curated. The location in Anping is perfect—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still incredibly convenient for exploring the old streets, historical spots, and local food scene. It struck that rare balance between tranquility and accessibility. The space itself is stunning. Every detail—from the minimalist design to the warm lighting and carefully chosen decor—creates an atmosphere that feels both modern and deeply comforting. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel at ease. Cleanliness was impeccable, and you can tell the hosts take real pride in maintaining such a high standard. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the hospitality. The hosts were exceptionally responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure the stay was perfect. They didn’t just provide a place to stay—they created an experience. Thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel personal rather than transactional. Waking up there was a highlight in itself. The calm ambiance, soft natural light, and quiet surroundings made it the perfect reset from a busy travel schedule. It felt less like accommodation and more like a carefully designed retreat. Honestly, XiuXi Anping set a new standard for what I look for when traveling. If you’re heading to Tainan and want somewhere that combines aesthetic, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality, this is it. I would return in a heartbeat.

No sabíamos que esta casa de huéspedes utilizaba autofacturación, por lo que no teníamos aparcamiento reservado. El registro fue un poco complicado; reservamos una habitación para cuatro personas, pero era una litera, diferente de la habitación compartida que vimos en línea, lo que nos confundió. La habitación solo tenía suficientes comodidades para dos personas (mantas, cubrecolchones y toallas de baño), y pensamos que había un error. Contactamos con el anfitrión, pero no obtuvimos respuesta, lo que afectó nuestros planes. Solo nos atrevimos a salir a cenar después de confirmar con el anfitrión que la habitación estaba en orden y que nos proporcionarían las comodidades. Al regresar, ya tenían suficientes para dos personas. A pesar de algunos pequeños inconvenientes, en general quedamos satisfechos y fue una experiencia nueva. Sin embargo, este tipo de casa de huéspedes podría no ser adecuado para nosotros. Encontrar aparcamiento nos llevó mucho tiempo extra y el aparcamiento nocturno era caro. Sin duda, revisaremos la información de la reserva con más atención la próxima vez.

I had a truly wonderful stay at here. The location couldn’t be better—right across from Tainan Park, it’s peaceful yet still within walking distance to the train station and local eateries. The atmosphere of the inn feels both cozy and refreshing, surrounded by greenery that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city. The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with natural light, soft bedding, and just the right touch of simplicity. Every detail showed the owner’s care—from the locally roasted coffee in the common area to the warm welcome when I arrived. I especially loved the small garden space where you can relax with a cup of tea in the afternoon. What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with local travel tips and food recommendations. Their genuine kindness made me feel like I was visiting an old friend rather than staying at a hotel. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tainan. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort, warmth, and a touch of nature in the heart of the city.

The pictures shown on trip.com was a trap in terms of its surrounding areas except the historical sites which were great to visit. However, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the view from my room window was a little depressing, with kind of concrete building and sort of coastal jungles. However, the hotel concierge desk with a particular mention of the two young people provided me with very personalised service, even suggesting me to bike ride to the areas and showing me with hospitality as to where to explore in the city. Overall, the stay was pleasant and the pool was beautiful to use.

My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...).

Had a pleasant time in this hotel. Provided snacks and drinks daily. The male staff that was at the reception at night was very helpful in helping us call local shops and finding things. The breakfast was also delicious! Would return next time!

the penthouse is just nice to fit 7 pax of us, including the extra mattress for a kid. We love the penthouse which we have our own hot spring bathtub and steam room. The facilities are good, they have public and private facilities pools. The hotel opens the pools to outsiders also, so it might be quite busy and crowded for the public pools facility. Please prepare some snacks or instant food before you go to stay as there is no convenient shops or mini market nearby. you have to walk about 20mins to go to the nearby town. The reception sells instant noodle cups but always out of stock. But there is restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is not new but still good and manageable, they are still practiced the old system which is using hand written record for guests booking. There is no bell boy to help you on the luggage, we have to carry one by one to our hotel room, which car is not reachable to your door steps. And the road to your room is slopes. Hotel staff services are just okay, not very hospitality impressions for us as foreigners. We love the public pools, there are over 10+ different types of hot spring pools in the hotel.

Hotel Sukimi is located within walking distance from the Dongmen Night Market (but not that the NM is only opened on mon, wed and fri) the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out.. i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate overall i would recommend stay at this hotel 👍🏻👍🏻 ps forgot to take photos 🤦🏻♀️🤣

El hotel es viejo y muestra. Hay muchas piscinas en el área de la puesta de mantas y los huéspedes tienen que llevar bañeras y capas de baño. Las habitaciones son como si tuvieran que ser renovadas, pero todas las zonas públicas y piscinas son viejas y la limpieza puede mejorar. La selección del desayuno es básica, pero es justo para lo que nos han cobrado.

La habitación es bastante amplia y el aire acondicionado, excelente. La ubicación es inmejorable, al salir hay restaurantes por todas partes. Se llega a la Torre Chihkan en tan solo 5 minutos a pie. Desde la parada de autobús frente a la Torre Chihkan, se puede tomar el autobús número 98 para ir al Fuerte Anping.
