Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience! Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe. The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained. Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out. For the price, this homestay offered excellent value. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

El B&B es bastante bueno. El dueño vino a recogernos en plena noche, nos preparó agua caliente, encendió el aire acondicionado con antelación para calentar la habitación y la mejoró. Desde la ventana se ve el lago. Las instalaciones interiores también son bastante nuevas. La cama es grande, de unos dos metros de ancho. Solo hay un poco de ruido por la mañana debido a las obras cercanas.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in the heart of the ancient water town. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the canals, bridges, and quaint streets, making it perfect for exploring the area on foot. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the cleanliness of the room and the overall quality of the amenities exceeded my expectations. Although the owner doesn’t speak English, communicating through WeChat worked smoothly and she was always quick to respond and help with anything I needed. This small challenge didn’t take away from the experience at all. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality in such a beautiful historic setting!

Instalaciones: Tal como se muestra en las fotos. Muy nuevo. Muy satisfecho. Tiene tres plantas, y me alojé en la última, que era tranquila y sin interrupciones. Limpieza: Limpio y cómodo, muy satisfactorio. Entorno: 1. A solo unas pocas decenas de metros de la taquilla del Shen Hall, muy conveniente. 2. El pequeño patio frente al B&B es hermoso, perfecto para tomar fotos y registrarse. Servicio: Envié la ubicación del taxi y llegué directamente. Resumen: Este B&B fue fantástico. ¡Me alojaré aquí de nuevo la próxima vez que visite Zhouzhuang!

位置很好，在萬象滙對面，吃東西購物很方便離南站也不遠，15分鐘的路程，唯一就是地勢低，下雨天聽説會積水，我還沒有碰到，就是那天房間一股下水道翻塘的味道，聽當地人説才知道，5萬每平的房子現在掉了一半了，扎心。原來有5家麪包店，現在就這一家了，味道一般般。火車上還是泡麪好吃

Servicio: El administrador de la casa de familia se comunicará con usted un día antes para presentarle la situación del check-in, el transporte y consejos gastronómicos para visitar la ciudad antigua. El día del check-in, nos dirigimos a la tienda de recogida para recibirlo, lo ayudamos a sacar sus maletas y las llevamos arriba. Cada vez que pasaba por la recepción, los dependientes me saludaban cálidamente y me presentaban la ciudad antigua. Cualquiera que necesite ayuda es bienvenido a ayudar. Ubicación: El transporte es muy conveniente, muy cerca de la pequeña entrada en el lado norte, fácil entrar y salir, y fácil conseguir un taxi. Está muy cerca de las principales atracciones turísticas y del muelle del casco antiguo, a solo dos minutos a pie. Encuentra paz y tranquilidad en medio del ruido. Hay un río en la puerta y el entorno es muy bueno. Instalaciones y saneamiento: La casa de familia ha sido recientemente renovada y la decoración es muy bonita. No se diferencia de las fotos de internet, e incluso podría verse mejor. Los espacios públicos y las habitaciones están limpios. La habitación que reservé tiene terraza. Cuando hace buen tiempo, es muy cómodo sentarse afuera y disfrutar de la brisa y el sol. En general, fue una estancia muy cómoda. Si tengo la oportunidad, me alojaré aquí la próxima vez.

El hotel goza de una ubicación inmejorable, muy cerca de la entrada principal. Las habitaciones del primer o segundo piso con vistas al río cuentan con amplios ventanales que ofrecen impresionantes vistas de los barcos que pasan. El personal es increíblemente amable, ofrece consejos de viaje detallados y recomienda restaurantes con excelentes ofertas. Incluso recordaron amablemente a los huéspedes la hora de cierre del bar. Aunque se puede escuchar música en las habitaciones, no es ruidosa y solo sirve de fondo. ¡Muy recomendable!

I arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket. 

The hotel is located within Zhouzhuang Old Town, making it convenient to visit nearby museums. If you enter the old town after 5 PM, you can avoid the entrance fee. The hotel is also situated next to a temple, but unfortunately, the temple is currently under renovation and not open to tourists. One issue to note is the presence of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring insect repellent. Zhouzhuang offers a stunning night view — highly recommended! Don’t miss the boat ride; it costs 220 yuan per ride and can accommodate up to 6 people, including infants.

Me gusta mucho este hotel; ya es la tercera vez que vengo, y con razón. Tiene algo especial que no ofrecen los hoteles típicos, como el café Nespresso o las suaves y cómodas almohadas, por ejemplo. Merece la pena mencionar al personal. Hablan bien inglés y son muy amables, como Jessie o David Wei, por ejemplo. David no solo habla muy bien inglés, sino que me regaló una habitación de categoría superior, lo que me hizo sentir especial. La suite del hotel es muy espaciosa y ofrece mucho espacio. Lo mejor de este hotel, y lo que no encuentro en ningún otro sitio por este precio, es la zona de bienestar. Una piscina enorme y un gimnasio excepcional con TRX y máquinas de entrenamiento corporal. Lo mejor, sin embargo, es la sauna con baño de agua fría. Un baño de agua fría es casi imposible de encontrar en otros hoteles, a menos que tengas un presupuesto mucho más alto. Así que, para quienes prefieren la sauna y el baño de agua fría, esta es sin duda su mejor opción.
