Made a last-minute decision to extend a night in Xishuangbanna and booked a stay at the Yunman Starry Sky Cliff Panoramic Resort Hotel. Let me start with the positives! The view is absolutely nice, and the room is spacious enough. A major highlight was the staff, particularly 阿沐 (A Mu), who was very helpful and prompt to respond. He efficiently managed to find a solution for our situation, which we truly appreciated. The amenities are a good value: a breakfast buffet is provided, and there's a lovely afternoon tea. The food is not bad overall. While the location seems good on the map, it is a little difficult getting there in reality. However, our stay was marred by a few significant issues: 1. We used the laundry & drying service, but unfortunately, some of our lighter color clothes came back with color stains. This was very disappointing. 2. The bathroom light wasn't working. We contacted the front desk a few times, and while they mentioned they would send someone up, no one ever came. A stay of contrasting experiences—excellent service from one staff member and great views, but let down by follow-through on maintenance and services.

something happened at this hotel that has never happened to me before. on the first night that i arrived i wanted to set down my luggage, use the bathroom quickly, then check out the surrounding night markets. i need to preface this by saying i’m a very experienced, decade-long bidet user. i book hotels specifically with smart toilets, and i’ve installed several bidets at home myself. let me just say this is the dumbest toilet i’ve ever seen in my life because the moment i stood up it started spraying me in the face. i was disgusted so i quickly moved over to the shower to cleanse myself. i figured maybe it’s a one off, and that i shouldn’t have to be afraid of a toilet. but the next time i tried to use it again, the moment i turned the bidet on it started spraying outside of the toilet bowl…all over the bathroom wall. i was once again disgusted so i cleaned the bathroom and showered twice on the night i arrived, and also did a load of laundry. i think whoever used the room before me set the bidet nozzle position so that it would spray outside of the bowl. my question is: 1) why would you do that? 2) to whoever designed this bidet/toilet, why would you allow someone to do that? i thought about moving hotels but i eventually got too lazy, plus the benefit of this hotel is that the location is fantastic. some of the most popular restaurants and cafes in the area are within a quick 5-10 minute walk. it’s such a lively neighborhood with everything you need at your fingertips. be mindful that cars cannot enter this area, as it’s all pedestrian streets. but there is a larger road maybe 2 minute walk away where it’s easy to call a car. the staff is always very helpful. for example on the night that i had to do laundry because of the crazy toilet, they helped me monitor the wash/dry cycle and all i had to do was pick up the clothes when they were done. aside from the poorly designed bathroom (aggressive toilet and sink faucet that sprays everywhere), the room is very clean, modern, and spacious. the breakfast is just okay, very simple and minimal options. at the moment there’s a lot of construction going on as well within the hotel, so on several mornings i was woken up by drilling at 9am. i think it’s overall a good value for your money, as the nightly rate is inexpensive. but be careful of their bathrooms.

Although Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining. Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable. Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that. Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests. Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. Hubo una fiesta de hogueras en el amplio jardín del primero al tercero y el quinto día del primer mes *****. Invitados y bailarines bailaron danzas Dai juntos, escucharon Hulusi y encendieron fuegos artificiales a las 9:20, puntualmente. Por eso, nos ahorramos la molestia de ir al Mercado Nocturno Starlight a ver los fuegos artificiales. Puedes ver el río Lancang directamente. Sentarse junto a la ventana y observar el paisaje es muy terapéutico. La cómoda cama grande de 2 metros. ¡Sin mencionar que puedes dormir hasta el amanecer! ! Cuando te despiertes por la mañana, puedes ir al piso 23 a desayunar. En general, es un muy buen hotel.

Amazing Stay at Lushan Xishang Banshan Hotel in Xishuangbanna! Highly Recommend! I recently stayed at Lushan Xishang Banshan Hotel during my trip to Xishuangbanna, and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, always going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They took excellent care of me, washing my clothes, tidying up my room every day, and providing me with the cleanest, most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in. My room had a fantastic hot tub, and I loved soaking in it while watching the scenic views of the city. The bright lights from the buildings lit up the skyline at night, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was also fantastic — a great way to start each day with a variety of delicious options. One of the highlights was the late check-out, which really made my departure stress-free. A huge part of my experience was the driver the hotel recommended for me. Not only was he an excellent driver, but he also became like a brother to me. He genuinely cared about my safety and helped interpret for me at the markets, which was a huge help. We spent the day visiting great restaurants and shopping spots, and his joy and enthusiasm made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. He also took me to some famous religious landmarks, where I got to experience the local culture and history in a way I never would have without his guidance. His kindness and attention to detail made my trip feel even more special. This amazing service was all arranged by the hotel, and I’m so grateful for their recommendation. They really made sure I had everything I needed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The staff's warmth, the wonderful driver, and the beautiful amenities made my trip truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xishuangbanna for a vacation!

ฉันเป็นคนไทยที่ไปพักที่โรงแรมพูดภาษาจีนได้แค่นิดเดียวแต่เจ้าของที่พักใจดีมากๆ ให้การช่วยเหลือฉันเป็นอย่างดีขากลับให้ช่วยเรียก DiDi ไปส่งสถานีรถไฟความเร็วสูง ประทับใจเขามากๆ ทานนมมาส่งเถ้าแก่ช่วยเดินขึ้นมาถึงห้องพักชั้น 3 ที่พักหลังจาก 5 ทุ่มเงียบสงบมีม่านกันแสงจากระเบียงและม่านกันแสงในห้องทำให้ห้องมืดชั้นหลับสนิทมากๆตลอดเวลาที่อยู่ที่นี่ ทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ใกล้ตลาดเก้าจวง เมื่อคุณลงรถบัสหรือแท็กซี่ที่ส่งปากซอยเดินมาอีก 100 เมตรจะอยู่ทางด้านซ้ายบริเวณใกล้ๆมีมินิมาร์ท
