Our stay at the Silk Commerce Clubhouse in Wuzhen wasn’t just a hotel visit; it was an experience of sublime harmony. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere where history and contemporary luxury are woven together with impeccable taste. The property itself is a masterpiece of preservation. The historical structure, with its classic Jiangnan water town architecture, has been converted with the utmost respect and sophistication. Inside, however, every modern amenity is thoughtfully integrated—plush bedding, a stunning rain shower, and elegant tech touches—creating a sanctuary of comfort that honors the past without sacrificing a single present-day pleasure. A crowning jewel of each day was the made-to-order breakfast. It was nothing short of spectacular—perfectly balanced, fresh, and beautifully presented. It provided the ideal, energizing start, especially because this clubhouse offers a golden key to Wuzhen: the privilege of exploring the ancient canals and lanes in the serene morning hours, blissfully free from the crowds. To have the misty, poetic beauty of Wuzhen almost to oneself is an unforgettable luxury, and it’s an advantage that truly sets this property apart. Yet, what truly elevated our stay from exceptional to unforgettable was the service, personified by Jiajia. Her warm, attentive, and genuinely caring hospitality catered to our every need with a graceful efficiency and a radiant smile. She anticipated requests, offered wonderful local insights, and handled every detail with such personal care that we felt not just as guests, but as cherished friends. She is the heart and soul of the Clubhouse experience. The Silk Commerce Clubhouse is more than a place to sleep; it’s the perfect, tranquil base from which to fall in love with Wuzhen. It offers a rare blend of cultured history, modern comfort, culinary delight, and, most importantly, a standard of service that makes you feel profoundly welcome. Stayed at Splendid Clubhouse for 2 nights, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip to China. I highly recommend slowing down and fully enjoying the serene, scenic surroundings this property offers—it’s an experience in itself. From the moment I booked, the service was exceptional. My personal butler, Xiao Shen, reached out a day before my arrival to coordinate everything, including arranging for a seamless pick-up at the Scenic Area. Throughout my stay, Xiao Shen was attentive and thoughtful, ensuring every detail was taken care of—from daily arrangements to recommending great dining options. Do make it a point to dine within the hotel, especially at Jin An Si Fang Cai (锦岸私房菜)—the food was outstanding. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the view from my room was simply breathtaking, overlooking beautiful spring blooms. Breakfast was another standout experience. It was incredibly delicious and thoughtfully curated, with multiple courses that were so satisfying I could easily skip lunch. Guests select their breakfast in advance, and everything is promptly served upon arrival at the restaurant, making the experience both seamless and indulgent. Overall, the impeccable service, stunning views, and attention to detail made this an unforgettable stay. I would highly recommend Splendid Clubhouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and elevated retreat.

Este fue, sin duda, nuestro hotel favorito durante el viaje (y nos alojamos en 5 hoteles, algunos con el doble de precio). Al principio tenía mis dudas, ya que no me gustaba mucho el estilo de la habitación y prefería algo más sencillo y minimalista, pero todo estaba tan bien hecho y ejecutado que al final era casi imposible salir de la habitación porque era increíblemente acogedora y cómoda. (¡Ojo!). Incluso nos dieron una habitación mucho más grande a pesar de quedarnos solo una noche. La vista al río desde la ventana por la noche era preciosa y el desayuno también era abundante. Aunque nos hubiera gustado que lo sirvieran más despacio, ya que la mayoría de la comida se enfrió porque la trajeron casi toda a la vez. El hotel también tiene un jardín precioso y el lugar en general es magnífico. También vi varias reseñas sobre el mayordomo Xiao Wei y pensé que podría ser una de esas estafas de dejar una reseña y mencionar el nombre para conseguir un regalo gratis, como está de moda últimamente, pero no. Xiao Wei fue sin duda la joya de la corona de este hotel e hizo que nuestra estancia fuera aún mejor de lo que ya era 🥹. Fue amable y accesible, atento y sumamente sincero en todos los sentidos, y su servicio fue, con diferencia, el mejor que hemos recibido en cualquier hotel del mundo. El último día descubrí que Wuzhen se especializa en un té de crisantemo en particular, pero no lograba encontrarlo. Le escribí preguntándole si sabía en qué tiendas lo vendían y se ofreció a llevarme a una tienda de regalos que estaba cerca de la salida. En vez de eso, me sorprendió con una bolsa de té cuando le escribí tan solo 30 minutos antes de la salida. ¡Sin duda volveremos a alojarnos en el Eden Club pronto! De hecho, probablemente será principalmente por Xiao Wei y lo bien atendidos que nos sentimos, jajaja.

Conduje desde Shanghái hasta Haining para cenar con mis amigos. Busqué en Ctrip y encontré el Hotel Hualuxe, que parecía prometedor. El hotel era realmente agradable, con amplio estacionamiento y garaje subterráneo. La recepcionista, Xiao Guo, fue muy profesional y atenta. Antes de irme, hice la reserva con prisas y no me di cuenta de que el desayuno no estaba incluido. Se lo expliqué durante el check-in y me ayudó a solicitarlo y lo solucionó. Incluso me preparó el desayuno. La habitación estaba muy limpia y la cama era perfecta para mis necesidades, especialmente las almohadas; mi cuello se sentía muy cómodo después de dormir. Sin duda, será mi primera opción la próxima vez que visite Haining, así que lo recomiendo ampliamente.

El hotel es un edificio antiguo en sí mismo, y el mantenimiento posterior ha sido excepcionalmente cuidadoso, lo que encaja muy bien con la cultura de Wuzhen. Es muy agradable pasear por allí; casi todas las fotos que tomé eran de personas, así que no puedo publicarlas, ¡pero es realmente hermoso! El personal de servicio, cuando se le pregunta, también describe el lugar con confianza y naturalidad. El restaurante del hotel es excelente, la comida es deliciosa; el desayuno incluido se asigna por persona, pero es muy abundante, lo que evita la molestia de elegir. Tengo tres pequeñas sugerencias, que son bastante insignificantes y pueden ignorarse si no son adecuadas: 1. La presión del agua en mi habitación era un poco baja. 2. Dado que el hotel está en una ubicación tan buena, sería perfecto si el check-out pudiera ser a las dos de la tarde. Siento que muchos huéspedes que vienen a Wuzhen para un recorrido nocturno no se registran tan temprano. 3. La cola para los botes de remos era terrible (durante el verano, entre semana), aunque estaba incluido en el paquete del hotel, lo descartamos directamente. Personalmente, preferiría visitar la gran casa del hotel. Si el hotel pudiera organizar a alguien para guiar un recorrido y explicar la historia, no puedo imaginar cuánto valor agregaría.

Fantastic rooms. Very large and well appointed. Restaurants don’t do well for vegans but otherwise fine. Service in the Paulaner bar was slow with only one server the evening we tried it. It’s not cheap but it’s very good value for what you get. I’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay again. Recommended if you want to be near the train station.

We booked our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Jiaxing, to celebrate my wife's Birthday, and to enjoy Dragon Boat Festival. The initial impact when entering the Hotel is good, the fragrance is pleasant, and the decor is modern and sleek. During the online booking process, I had some Special Requests ”Romantic Theme” for the room, the request, was promptly approved. Upon entering the Hotel, we were greeted by Sandy, at the front of House / Reception area. Her service was prompt and professional. She was friendly and informed us, that my wife would be receiving a cake for her Birthday. The check in process was efficient. We had the opportunity to briefly meet Edith, the Manager on duty. She was friendly and welcoming. The Birthday Cake and Fruit Platter, was delivered to our room, shortly after we checked in. In my experience, the ”Restaurant” is the ”heartbeat” of any successful Hotel. A restaurant with poor service and / or bad food, will surely lead to the demise of the business. Fortunately, that's not the case for the ”Eatery Restaurant” at the ”Four Points by Sheraton” in Jiaxing. The Restaurant's Staff are all very professional, and take pride in what they do. The Buffet Dinner is available, during the weekends, and is very reasonably priced (great value for money). The variety and quality of the cusine, is on International standard. Western and Chinese dishes, are professionally prepared, and served at this Restaurant. If I were to single out on special dish, it would most definitely be the ”Beef Wellington”, it was perfectly cooked and presented (the Best I have eaten, to date). Compliments to the chef/s in this regard. Special thanks to Tina, whom is always courteous, when I / we, visit the Restaurant. Infact, Tina is the reason for my return and stay at the Hotel, this time around. As she was most courteous and professional, during another visit to the Restaurant some time back. Thank you again, Tina. We would also like to thank Gary, whom provided superb service and courtesy, during the Dinner service. I could not help but notice, that Housekeeping were cleaning the rooms thoroughly. Their service should not be overlooked, as their hard work, ensure that the facilities remain on standard. Breakfast was excellent, with a superior variety of quality dishes and ingredients available. We can recommend the ”Four Points by Sheraton” Jiaxing, to all guests, foreign and domestic. We look forward to our next stay, and hope to enjoy many more special moments at this Hotel. See you soon.

Tong'an locate at one of the best location, convenient for visiting the whole place without wasting time and energy. Facilities are great and cleanliness are at high standard. One particluar thing worth to mention with our gratitude here is - hotel staffs' honesty. We forgetfully and carelessly left an envelope with cash 1000 Yuan when we checked out and we realized about it only next day. When we called and checked, they told us that housekeeping staffs found and passed it to the front desk. They made the transfer back to my AliPay account immediately without any delay. Their honesty and swift action are highly commendable and we aee very glad to recognize and recommend for Tong'an Inn and its staffs. Thank you.

we took a bus from shanghai pudong airport to jiaxing north station then just took a taxi via didi in alipay to get here. the homestay location was great since they were just beside the No. 2 Gate. For foreigners, we needed to get tickets and show our passports to the visitor center just around 100 meters away from the gate and hotel. from before our arrival all the way to check in, i was in touch with them already via wechat and the response was always very quick and helpful. we liked that the inn also had a free shuttle service on call for us and took us back and forth to dongzha (and old street beside it), as well as the bus station to get to suzhou. The uncle was also very helpful and friendly, ever ready to help us with our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor and to give us his recommendations on timings, directions and such. The younger family member in the front desk was also very helpful! They told us not to engage with the many people offering day trips outside just to be safe. They also lent us umbrellas for the rain and sun, and even band-aids. We would gladly stay at this B&B again but request a lower floor like the 2nd just because we usually go back mid-day and tend to forget stuff so the flights of stairs is something to consider if you're not up to the exercise. The room and toilet were very clean and good value for money! They were also very considerate as to putting all scents away upon my request. Just beside the B&B were small groceries, eateries and stores so we walked around also at night. For wuzhen, we did xizha only first next to the hotel from 4pm onwards for one day then dongzha ,old street (morning to afternoon) and xizha at night again the next day to save on the ticket costs.

Para aprovechar el ”Zaocaoke” (desayuno temprano tradicional), decidí quedarme en el Wuzhen Xizha al día siguiente. Alojarse en el hotel es bastante conveniente: se puede facturar el equipaje en el vestíbulo de visitantes y enviarlo directamente al hotel. La aplicación móvil permite ver el estado del equipaje y de la limpieza de la habitación, e incluso se puede reservar el Zaocaoke. El servicio del hotel es excelente; ayudan con el equipaje y explican pacientemente las instalaciones y las áreas del hotel (que es realmente grande...). También suben el equipaje a la habitación. Las instalaciones, sin embargo, son muy antiguas y la habitación es muy pequeña.
