I booked this hotel without knowing that it is known for and it was a good surprise from almost every perspective of my experience. The staff in Sunyata are very friendly, well presented and treated us with their trained professionalism as well as friendliness. Both the hotel and room interior are designed thoughtfully and by later reading the magazine that was left in the room I realised that it was meant to be a masterpiece which I think is what has been achieved with no efforts spared. The top floor enjoying a 270 degree unobstructed view of the snow mountains obviously is the cherry on the top of the cake, and it absolutely delivered and truly made the stay in the hotel one of the most unforgettable experience in Meili. The amenities are nicely provided in good quality, and the beddings feel comfortable and clean. The food we had in the attached restaurant was delicious and the interior is also a masterpiece 24 hours in a day. The only shortcoming that I can say about my experience is that the food in the self served area for the breakfast became empty with still about one hour to go, and staff seemed unbothered or even intended to do so. Overall it is a beautiful boutique hotel which was beautifully designed and operated with a high standard. I would like to revisit if I can.

El hotel es realmente bonito, con vistas a las montañas nevadas. Es muy cómodo disfrutar de la nieve tumbado en la cama. Al principio, reservé una habitación con dos camas individuales, pero el personal de limpieza nos cambió a una habitación de lujo con cama extragrande en el quinto piso sin coste alguno. ¡La vista es aún más hermosa! El desayuno también es delicioso y todas las camareras son muy amables. El diseño del hotel es precioso. Le pedí a un fotógrafo de viajes que me tomara fotos. Al principio quería tomar algunas fotos de forma casual, ¡pero muchas de las que tomé quedaron preciosas! La señorita Wanwan me ofreció un paquete económico y finalmente seleccionó muchas fotos que me gustaron. ¡Amigos! ¡Muy bien! ¡Recomendado!

I spent just one night here, making a side trip from Shangri-La to catch the sunrise over Kawagarbo peak at Meili Snow Mountain. The room was small but comfortable—perfect for one person. The electric blankets kept me warm and toasty in the freezing weather, especially since the room heater (an A/C unit) was quite small and took a while to heat up the space. The location was ideal. It’s only a 5-min. walk to Feilaisi Monastery, which made it easy to reach the Feilai Temple Viewing Platform. The Meili Snow Mountain National Park Scenic Area lookout point is about a 15-min. slow walk away, in a more touristy area where you’ll also find street food and restaurants. Breakfast is served at the small onsite restaurant. I enjoyed a bowl of vermicelli soup and a cup of hot soy milk. You can choose from several noodle options, and there were dumplings on the side as well. When I checked out early in the morning, it was snowing, and visibility was poor. The owner noticed the foggy weather and kindly offered to let me return to my room if I changed my mind about exploring and preferred to rest instead. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness and consideration. Overall, I had a good stay here.

upon arriving, their staff would immediately provide assistance to you for your luggages etc & help send up to the room! if need anything, you can just wechat them and they would reply almost immediately and provide assistance! great stay~ and you can clearly see meili snow mountain from here except that today we didn’t get to see the golden sunrise :(

Just to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain. Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather. The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time. One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

the hotel was in a stratigic location so was easy to walk to some shops nearby and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Also the hotel is near the viewing deck for early morning viewing of the sun rise. Beatiful scenary of the snow capped mountains from our room. Very clean rooms and facilities are excellent. The breakfast was modest but tasty and very traditional. The staff are freindly and helpful. A nice place to stay on your travels to Meili snow mountains.

Me fui de Guangzhou al Tíbet y me alojé en muchos hoteles. Este hotel me sorprendió. Tiene una relación calidad-precio muy alta. Tiene una decoración de cinco estrellas y el precio de una casa de familia. Es un hotel recién renovado con mucho estilo. El dueño es muy generoso. La cocina está disponible para que los huéspedes la usen cuando quieran. Hay de todo. Compré setas matsutake frescas y cociné en la cocina del dueño. El personal de servicio también es muy atento. Estoy muy agradecido con el dueño del hotel y su personal.

🌟 ¡Alabado por cinco estrellas! Diqing es realmente hermoso! La guarida azul y blanca de Shangrila, los lagos limpios de Puda y los lagos de Songzhang, es sagrado y solemne, y todo es un flujo de olvidos. El hotel de estadía también es muy bueno, el estilo tibetano decorado, la habitación es cálida y cómoda, y la vista de la montaña negra está fuera de la ventana.
