Firstly, this has to be one of the nicest places which I stayed at in Yunnan, or in China for that matter. You may be thinking that is price is good to be true, but this place performs well above what is to be expected of that price range. I was originally planning to stay elsewhere in Benzilan, but am very glad that I stayed here. The rooms are super spacious with high ceilings and wooden furniture. The view out of my window was very green and calming. The amenities were all well-maintained and very clean. The pictures really don't do the rooms the justice that they deserve. Secondly, and very importantly, the owner - a young Benzilan local who operates the hotel with his mother - is exceptionally kind, genuine and friendly. As a solo traveller, he helped organise transport, offered lunch, and even some of the local liquor. As far as service goes, this place remains unbeaten amongst all the places I've travelled in China. The hotel overlooks the mountains surrounding Benzilan. In the evening, you can peacefully sit outside the hotel on its elevated terrace and quietly watch the mountains as the sun goes down. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Caminando unos 300 o 400 metros, hay un supermercado más grande y más restaurantes. **Actitud del servicio:** Excelente, excelente, excelente. La dueña es como un Doraemon, atenta hasta el más mínimo detalle. Si llegas en autobús, puedes llamarla con antelación y ella te recogerá en la estación de autobuses (no hagas como yo, que arrastré mi maleta un kilómetro por la carretera nacional). Después de las nueve y media de la noche, si el tiempo es bueno, la dueña llama a cada huésped para preguntar si quieren ir a ver las estrellas. Ese día, aunque solo estaba yo, ella me llevó en coche al observatorio de estrellas. De camino de vuelta, la dueña reconoció a algunos huéspedes del hotel en la carretera y se detuvo para preguntarles si necesitaban que los llevara. Por la mañana, la dueña también nos llevó en coche al mirador de Feilai Temple para ver el amanecer dorado sobre las montañas, y nos guardó el equipaje en una tienda que conocía, muy conveniente y muy considerado. **Resumen:** Una experiencia excelente, que incluso compensó en cierta medida mi decepción por no haber visto el amanecer dorado completo (esa mañana había un poco de nubes y solo pude ver la montaña de la Diosa). Si los precios son similares, recomiendo encarecidamente elegir este lugar. Adjunto videos reales de la habitación y de las estrellas que la dueña me llevó a ver.

I spent just one night here, making a side trip from Shangri-La to catch the sunrise over Kawagarbo peak at Meili Snow Mountain. The room was small but comfortable—perfect for one person. The electric blankets kept me warm and toasty in the freezing weather, especially since the room heater (an A/C unit) was quite small and took a while to heat up the space. The location was ideal. It’s only a 5-min. walk to Feilaisi Monastery, which made it easy to reach the Feilai Temple Viewing Platform. The Meili Snow Mountain National Park Scenic Area lookout point is about a 15-min. slow walk away, in a more touristy area where you’ll also find street food and restaurants. Breakfast is served at the small onsite restaurant. I enjoyed a bowl of vermicelli soup and a cup of hot soy milk. You can choose from several noodle options, and there were dumplings on the side as well. When I checked out early in the morning, it was snowing, and visibility was poor. The owner noticed the foggy weather and kindly offered to let me return to my room if I changed my mind about exploring and preferred to rest instead. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness and consideration. Overall, I had a good stay here.

The room was new and clean. But the star of the show was the hosts.They were really kind and gave us lots of good tips and shared tea and snacks with us at the fireplace.

We stayed in Yubeng during a week when access to the village was closed, and we were the only guests at the hotel. It’s located near the trailhead to Ice Lake and not too far from Lower Yubeng and the Sacred Waterfall (the return hike is steep, but anyone coming to this place should be prepared for long and demanding walks!). There was no room service during our stay (like trash collection), but the hosts were friendly, and the food at the restaurant was very tasty and fairly priced — especially considering the logistical challenges of stocking the kitchen. The room is simple but comfortable. The towels are disposable, which is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it (they actually dry you well). The view from the hotel balcony is unbelievable — definitely worth paying extra for a room with a view. We would happily stay there again.

Me fui de Guangzhou al Tíbet y me alojé en muchos hoteles. Este hotel me sorprendió. Tiene una relación calidad-precio muy alta. Tiene una decoración de cinco estrellas y el precio de una casa de familia. Es un hotel recién renovado con mucho estilo. El dueño es muy generoso. La cocina está disponible para que los huéspedes la usen cuando quieran. Hay de todo. Compré setas matsutake frescas y cociné en la cocina del dueño. El personal de servicio también es muy atento. Estoy muy agradecido con el dueño del hotel y su personal.

Muchos coreanos lo recomendaron, así que reservamos. Fiel a su reputación, la limpieza y el entusiasta servicio de la joven pareja fueron impresionantes. Éramos cuatro, y nuestro principal objetivo en este viaje a Yunnan era subir al teleférico de la montaña nevada de Yulong. Sin embargo, conseguir entradas para este teleférico no es tarea fácil. Es necesario reservar un billete de sistema (entrada + viaje de ida y vuelta en teleférico al teleférico de la montaña nevada de Yulong + autobús lanzadera dentro del parque + espectáculo Impression Lijiang + autobús lanzadera al valle de Lanyue + viaje de ida y vuelta en furgoneta entre la ciudad de Lijiang y la taquilla de la montaña nevada de Yulong) por 600 yuanes. Intentar comprar solo las entradas para la montaña nevada de Yulong sería muy difícil. El dueño del hotel hizo todo lo posible para conseguir nuestras entradas. Gracias de nuevo. Si lees esto y planeas subir al teleférico de la montaña nevada de Yulong, te recomiendo que visites este hotel. Está ubicado en la ciudad antigua de Dayan (al noreste de la ciudad antigua). Toma un autobús o taxi hasta el puerto de Dayanhua y llama al hotel. El dueño vendrá a recogerte. Es una caminata de 250 metros.

Just to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain. Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather. The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time. One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

The location of the inn was perfect. It was nicely situated between lower and upper Yubeng. As what the receptionist said, it’s MIDDLE Yubeng hahaah. That makes it easy to get to both areas without needing to change accommodations. The service was excellent. The receptionist was very kind and catered to all our requests. She deserves a 5 star! The only room for improvement is the room is very old and not the cleanest. It definitely deserves an upgrade. My table for example, was covered in dust and when I wiped it it was black. That being said, the cost of the hotel is definitely worth it. The view from the hotel was also splendid

¡Excelente lugar! Ubicado justo al lado de Yubeng, camino al sendero del lago glaciar. Las vistas desde las habitaciones eran increíbles. También hay varias lavadoras para quienes viajen con poca ropa de senderismo. Siempre había varios miembros del personal disponibles para ayudarte con lo que necesites. La comida del restaurante del hotel era variada, asequible y deliciosa.
