We had a great stay! The staff were so friendly and polite, and the hotel was very clean and tidy. The free breakfast was tasty, and the shuttle bus made everything super convenient — especially for visiting our son at UBCO. We stayed two nights and would definitely come back.

good location, close to the airport. hotel is nice and clean. but breakfast is not included when you pay more than $200/night. there is no central air condistioning. the air conditioner is noisy and disturbing. seems everything is expensive in Kelowna.

Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was amazing ! Kids love the indoor pool ! Recommened for the families.

I stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus. If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit.

El hotel es muy nuevo y el equipo es muy bueno. Aunque ya ha llegado a media noche, es muy cómodo vivir. Pero se sugiere que llegamos antes de que baje el sol, o la carretera es oscura, no hay luz, se siente un poco nerviosa. La camarera de la mañana, muy bonita, su voz es muy bonita, abre una buena mañana por día. El lago cercano es muy bonito y vale la pena ir. También se recomienda la bebida espirituosa.

The location is perfect, a lot of stores nearby, walking distance. A nice place for relaxing and enjoyable trip. Staff are very courteous.

The hotel was great, we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, nice pillows and towels. The toiletries were a bit too small, so we asked for more and were provided right away. I absolutely loved the territory and the warm outdoors swimming pools and hot tubs, those are amazing!  The only thing is the restaurants on the property, even though the menu is quite good, the dishes didn’t taste great, we had two breakfasts and two dinners, and ordered different things every time, but still. Could be us, but just a note, you may want to eat elsewhere.

Yuan puede decir un centavo por un precio, porque la noche de la reserva es tarde y no tiene muchas expectativas de quedarse en el hotel de medio camino que se vaya de la tienda de la mañana. La habitación es vieja y oscura, incluso su hijo dijo que era el hotel peor que vivía, 8.900 el precio de la habitación es demasiado poco precio. ¡No lo recomienda!

Our stay was generally okay—clean room and expected service—but nothing particularly memorable. One issue stood out: we were asked to stop using the pool at around 9:30 AM because we were told it only opens at 10. We respected that, but just minutes later, another guest used the pool at 9:37 AM, followed by a family with two kids before 10 as well. It felt inconsistent and a bit unfair. A clear and consistently enforced policy would’ve avoided the confusion and frustration. This small incident left us with mixed feelings about the stay.
