Arkefthos Mountain Hotel

We came only for one day visit in this site. We booked a nice room with balcony. The hotel was completly empty since we came at the end of the season. The hotel personal welcomed as in a very worm hospitality. The parking area is a little fall from the hotel.

My family and I stayed in this nice hotel in August 2023. The owners are friendly and helpful (they provided packed lunches and did laundry). The rooms are compact, clean and some have spectacular views (like room 8). The breakfast was very tasty. Tip: as with many mountain villages, parking is not easy. We parked in the larger lower car park.

I would have given this hotel a 5 but they are currently awaiting local authority permission to install air-Con and also no car park space but if you drop off bags at the entrance and then park your car a little further down the road ( 100 yards say) that’s not really a huge problem. Despite this we have nothing but the highest praise for the outstanding hospitality of the owners. They made a great team. Lovely welcome from the lady of the couple and her husband couldn’t have been more helpful in providing a recommended itinerary personalised for our two night stay in Papigo. The included continental breakfast was a lovely surprise which included very unique home made breakfast pita, banana and chocolate bread, home made marmalade, bougatsa - a delicious milk pie and much more. Our verandah was a jewel of a place to sit and soak in the beautiful view and peace and quiet of this spectacular mountain village. Would visit again for sure.

Beautifully situated in a UNESCO village and with amazing views, this family run hotel is a gem. Choose a deluxe, balcony room for the views of the mountains. The family show endless helpfulness and hospitality. Highly recommended.

We have stayed two nights in arkefthos and enjoyed it very much! The room is clean, well designed and the view is wonderfull. There is hot water, fan, great air from the mountains. We enjoyed opening the morning with a nice breakfast outside on the balcony with the beautiful garden and nature surrounded us. Vassilia the owner was hosting us with a big smile and heart!

Our second stay at Arkefthos Mountain Hotel was even better than our first, which was excellent. We stayed for two nights in Papigko enjoying the amazing rooms with the breathtaking views of Gamilla! Clean and comfortable. And of course I cannot say enough good things about Vasilia with her bright smile, utter professionalism, and her delicious homemade breakfast! Highly recommended will stay there again and again!

This is a family run hotel! We really enjoyed our stay there with our 7month old baby. The owners and their sons did everything so that we feel welcome and met our every need. They even offered to prepare our baby's meals every day. Very clean rooms, with excellent view! Comfortable bed and nice amenities! The breakfast is very tasty with traditional pies freshly made every morning by the owner, with a good variety of fresh goods! Always there to offer us advice about were to go and were to eat in order to get the most out of our vacation! We will definatelly stay here again the next time we visit the area!

Το ξενοδοχειο ηταν πραγματικα εξαιρετικο! Σε μια εξαιρετικη τοποθεσια,πολυ καθαρο κ με μαγευτικη θεα. Η Βασιλεια και ο Σωτηρης πολυ φιλικοι κ μας εκαναν να νιωσουμε σαν στο σπιτι μας. Περασαμε πραγματικα υπεροχα!
