Papaevangelou was far and away the favorite of our three weeks in Greece. Georgios, Marcella and their staff were so genuine and hospitable. The room was simple, bright and lovely, beds comfortable, and breakfast was outstanding—maybe the best coffees we had on our trip! The tranquil setting and view are so very special. The only downside was that we didn’t know ahead of time how extraordinary it would be, so we could have planned to stay longer. Returning to modern Greece after stepping back in time in Papigo was a sad experience. When we return to Greece again, this will certainly be a longer stop on our itinerary.

Very worm hospitality. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent room. Very nice adjuscent restaurant. The owner mr . Yorgas very kind . We will come back Nice erea to travel . He advice us where to eat and hike. Lovely place . Aaaaaaassssaasszaaaaaa

We had the fortune of staying at Hotel Papaevangelou on the 20th of May, 2023, for two days, and what an experience it was! From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed, instantly making us feel at home. Our room was a dream - beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. However, the absolute highlight was the breathtaking view that greeted us each morning. The breakfast was not just delicious but prepared with so much love and care. An added bonus is the hotel's prime location, which provided us with the perfect starting point for a hike into the gorge. We can't wait to return. Definitely a place not to be missed!

The view from the room was great. Also The breakfast was a beautiful experience. The owners and the staff were very kind and hospitable. The rooms were very warm with very good aesthetics. From our room, the view was outstanding. There are a lot of activities to do nearby, such as rafting, hiking , trekking, sightseeing. If you love geology then this region of Greece is a must do.

We had the most wonderful time. Georges, the owner of the guest house is just the most amazing host. So warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much for him. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff are so nice and helpful. The surroundings are also stunning.

Totally marvelous. Fantastic place. A little peace of heaven. The views are breathtaking, the area is beyond beautifull. Owner and all people working there are the most loveliest you can image. We travelled with 2 adults and 3 kids and went hiking, swimming in ice cold rivers and waterfalls. Magical experience. Breakfast is outstanding as well. We would love to come back to this absolute gem of a place.

This is an excellent and quaint hotel with stunning views and exceptionally clean comfortable and cozy rooms. The breakfast is wonderful, fresh, and tasty. It is impossible to describe our excellent experience there without highlighting the amazing hospitality of Giorgos, the owner. We travel a lot and have never encountered such a warm, hospitable and kind host, who is always happy to help, assist, and go the extra mile for his guests. This made our visit to beautiful Papingo all the more memorable!

I have only wonderful things to say about Hotel Papavangelou. Giorgios and Marcella were wonderful hosts and so welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and provided an inviting atmosphere with helpful tips for exploring the area. We hope to return in the future and stay for longer! 2 nights was not enough :) all the best!

Excellent hotel with great owners and staff! The owners will bend over backward to accommodate any request! The place is super clean and well-appointed! Great location with lots of hiking available. The owner of the hotel actually went to his own house to get a dip that we had inquired about. We look forward to returning!
