Очень классная территория отеля - джунгли! Море рядом, пляж супер, но из-за того, что рядом местная кафешка в море можно встретить мусор :( на пляже убирают. В ресторане отеля дороговато, но кафешка рядом выручает. Номера хорошие, из самого дешевого вид просто супер! Мы брали pax sea view на фото из него вид. Завтрак хороший, нашли еду и себе и ребенку. Все понравилось, вернемся еще :)

TTC Van Phong Resort is located some 100 kms North of Nha Trang and is on the top 20 most beautiful and safe beaches in Vietnam. This is the best joint I have ever visited or stayed in. Almost everything is perfect. I have traveled extensively over the last 50 years and specifically in South-East Asia the last 20. I lived in Thailand for 6 years and have been living in Vietnam for last 4. I chose TTC Van Phong resort due Rami Obeid General Manage, a very capable MG that will make your stay very memorable. He ran another excellent hotel in Tuy Hoa, Vietnam where I met him for the first a year back. He was born in St Petersburg in 1977 by a Lebanese father and Polish mother. He grew up in Beirut. He lived there from 1980 till 1998 when he left for Switzerland to get degrees in hotel and business management He speaks fluent Russian, Arab, French and English. Before he came to TTC, he was General Manager of Sala Grand in Tuy Hoa. Before Tuy Hoa, he spent 2 years at a resort in Nepal. His family lives in Da Nang. Rami has twin boys of 4 and spends 4 days every month with his family there. ROOMS: The room is very spacious with a view to the sea on two walls. The beds are the biggest in town. And have superb mattresses. They have 194 rooms and only 4 were occupied when we arrived in September 2023. So, the restaurant was closed, and we got dinner served on the balcony overlooking the sea. Excellent food. A seafood pizza and duck breasts. Fruit and a Crème Brûlée for dessert. Not cheap but delicious. Some $45,- for the lot. A neat bedside lamp. You just pull it out from the socket on a hinge and it comes on. Put it back in and it switches on. No searching for the on- and off-button. In the bathroom you have a shelf for shaving cream and stuff. Most hotel rooms don’t. The white morning robes are very nice and fluffy. Lovely to wear to the pool. TECHNICAL STUFF: The Internet speed was impressive. But that is internal of Vietnam. Down 355 Mbits and up 350. Very good speeds. Do you surf outside Vietnam, there are completely different speeds. To Oslo, Norway, 178 down an 5 Mbits up. The TV is BIG and can be easily viewed from the bed. I use it to teach English to my Vietnamese wife. Real good. FACILITIES: They have a 40 meters long pool, well maintained with correct chemical balance due to very clear water. It is nice and the temperature is 30 degrees Centigrade. The sea temperature 29 and the air temperature is 28. Perfect morning temperature. There is a hang glider station on the beach just below the hotel. Hang gliding is a popular sport at the beach. The beach next door is a public one and you can mingle with the locals if you bring an interpreter. I did. English is absent among the locals. Seafood on the beach is great. The staff’s English skills are also severely lacking except for one receptionist that spoke good communicative English. As a minimum, they should be able to communicate using their smart phones as a translation tool. Ever

Tuvimos la suerte de hospedarnos tres noches en este hotel durante nuestra luna de miel en mayo de 2023. En nuestro caso, teníamos una villa preciosa con piscina privada con vistas a la bahía. La experiencia es fantástica. Thom se encargó de nosotros y se aseguró de que estuviésemos cómodos y atendidos en todo momento, además de proporcionarnos cualquier ayuda que pudimos necesitar. El servicio, desde Thom, hasta el personal del restaurante y del resto del hotel un 10, la ubicación, calidad y limpieza de las instalaciones también. La bahía es idílica y tiene paisajes preciosos. Además la comida que ofrecen, tanto en el desayuno como en el restaurante es fantástica. Repetiríamos encantados. Señalar también que para llegar al hotel es necesario acceder en lancha. El día que nos fuimos nuestro vuelo salía temprano por la mañana pero se encargaron de trasladarnos al aeropuerto a tiempo y preparándonos desayuno para llevar.

El personal es muy amable y útil. (Yo tenía un problema con la guía local y me ayudaron a resolver el problema.) Me gustan los sonidos de la mañana. (Escuela, perros, fiesta de bodas, motocicleta y pollo) Muy limpio con servicios de limpieza. La ubicación es casi perfecta para mí. A pocos minutos de la playa y el centro de Nha Trang. La sala de estar está bien equipada, el desayuno es muy agradable, la vista del 33o piso y la piscina en la parte superior del techo. In one word: paradise!! We stayed 4 nights at Whale Island and enjoyed every second of it. The resort is amazing. It is right at the beach. No more than 15 steps from our bed to the ocean. And especially in the morning it is very nice snorkling right at the resort. Also the snorkling trips organized by the resort are very cool. We saw much beautiful coral and fish. It is a shame that there is also plastic in the ocean and on the banks of the island though. But traveling Vietnam for 3 weeks and you’ll see it everywhere. It is a nationwide issue and resort like Whale Island, with more eye for the environment are part of the solution we’d say. The people of the resort spent a lot of time picking up trash and taking care of the coral and ocean at their doorstep. Besides all the swimming and snorkling, the food is very tasty as well. The staff is friendly and the bungalows can’t give more beach-vibe than this. Truly a paradise and big highlight for us in our visit to Vietnam.
