I’m being generous with 4 stars because there are some good people here but honestly I would be surprised if this place is still open this time next year. It’s a massive, I mean absolutely huge but empty oceanfront hotel; fully staffed (over staffed) but the employees outnumber the guests by at least 10-1.; probably 20-1 on any given day. No one comes here. There is nothing to do in the immediate area. Because of lack of clientele there is a lack of food. The buffet breakfast has been scrapped, understandable so and many menu items aren’t available. The dining room staff is poorly trained which tells me the dining room supervisor is also, manager etc. Their performance was really a sad struggle; clueless. When I ordered something and the “chef” said “we don’t have” it was never communicated to me; my server went on break. I don’t think it’s a cultural thing but rather management here is just awful. There’s plenty of them here, standing around, attending meetings; it was a horror movie come to life. There were some standout individuals that went above and beyond to help me reach my next destination when transport became an issue. These people deserve better positions somewhere else. Run while you can. You never know when you’re going to get the “axe;; whether Jack’s carrying it or not . . . Can not recommend. Sorry. I’m doing you a favor.
