Travelodge Wellingborough Rushden

Very good 🙂

Lovely clean room very comfy bed with a lovely view over the field's bathroom was very clean and the room smelt fresh. Free parking which is good for the small walk to rushden lakes. Lady on reception very welcoming as was the manager in the morning, we said it could do with some paint in places and she informed us they were getting a make over so we are excited to come to see the results. This is a lovely hotel and we will come back again

A lovely welcome from John on reception. He was very polite and explained where we could eat and drink locally.. Our Room was clean and had a view of fields,as at the back of the hotel.A Lovely powerful shower. Comfortable bed. All for £55 a night.

Decided to stay here again after being here earlier in the year and we had a great stay then, the weather was lovely perfect for our walk round rushden lakes and our shopping trip you can park at the travelodge at no cost and a short walk to the shopping area, the bathroom was very clean and the room exceptionally clean with a comfy bed it was a little warm but the rooms have a fan and with the windows open its was fine, we overlooked the filed which was lovely in the morning, a nice sized tv. Tracey checked us in and was very welcoming, we saw the manager in the morning who we complimented her on our stay we will definately stay at this travelodge again.

booked in too stay for 3 days however never made it past the first day. I was waiting for my suitcase too be dropped off by my friend as i had left it in his car when i was dropped off. I had a shower and was just drying myself and was getting dressed when my phone rang to say my friend had dropped my clothes off though i’d just open the door to see he’d left it outside the wrong door i could see the suitcase and didn’t want it getting taken as i got dressed into my dirty clothes. i made the poor decision too run in my underwear and get my bag it was only 1 door down. The door shut much faster then i expected and by the time i’d got out my room the suitcase was already gone the door locked behide me. I called reception 8 times to say “ hello im locked out of my room in my underwear” and there was no answer everytime. lazy staff not interested in answering the phone to help won’t be coming back 🤦‍♂️

My family decided to stay at this Travelodge whilst attending a nearby wedding. We were very pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. Very clean, tidy and value for money. Front of house, John Wilson was super friendly and helpful, recommending the nearby Rushden lakes shopping and eating facilities - This is just a 2 minute walk through the Travelodge carpark! Super experience and will return again.

We were up to visit friends from Devon, and unfortunately another Couple coming up with us could no longer make it and John Wilson went over and beyond to help move that booking he was extremely helpful, Courteous and empathetic. Looking forward to coming back up in August. Thank you, John, for all your help.

Staff were really friendly. Room was clean and bed comfy. Noise was minimal. No problems encountered
