Sea Breeze Inn

We loved our weekend stay at The Sea Breeze. Andrea, Robin and the whole staff were so welcoming and helpful with tips about the island, where to eat and where to go. It was so kind of them to give us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Breakfast each morning was delicious and hearty. Thank you for an incredible stay!

This is a gem of a place, a diamond in the rough. We were treated with genuine hospitality and felt very welcome. The room was lovely, well furnished with antiques. The high point of our stay; complimentary breakfasts prepared by Robin and David, a chef. They were such a gracious couple: David prepared some wonderful meals for us, delivered to our door promptly each morning at 8:30. Lox and fresh bagels one morning, and home-made granola with fresh yogurt and berries on another. All in all, we would go back. We wish though they would provide wifi, this would make the stay even more enjoyable. ~tiaotse~

This place is an absolute MUST for offbeat traveler types. It is quirky in all the right ways, with the sweetest staff that really makes the place (even more) special. Corey was awesome - so many great tips, help with our bikes, easy check-in and check-out, beach towels, and anything else we needed throughout our stay. The picnic breakfast delivered to the room was DELICIOUS and it felt whimsical and sweet. The outdoor shower (with an incredible view) was the perfect way to transition from beach day to night out for dinner. The rooms have an eclectic, curated vibe in antique and handmade furnishings and are maintained meticulously, as are the beautiful gardens. We were super comfortable during our stay - no need for WiFi (cell service was great) or A/C (the ocean breeze and fans were plenty, even on a hot summer week). We can't wait to return next year!

Perfect location, room was immaculate and the hosts were easily accessible & communicative! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Please note: no AC, refrigerator or TV but we didn’t miss it!

My family of 5 stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, with our in-laws family upstairs in the 2 bedroom. I'll start with the amazing and super friendly service. It started when Corey called me the day before we arrived to confirm our ferry arrival time and see if I had any questions. Once we arrived, he was as friendly and courteous as he was on the phone. Check in was a breeze (pun intended!). He showed us to our cottage and took our breakfast requests. The scenery and comfortable outdoor settings were amazing! Beautiful views in the backyard of the ponds and the ocean. They had very comfortable lounge chairs to relax on. The breakfast service was fantastic too. Brought to our cottage every morning. If we needed more ice, or milk, it was just a text away. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Andrea, Corey and all the staff were wonderful, caring and extremely accommodating. My family and I agreed, that we would 100% stay there again. Thank you Sea Breeze Inn!!

If you want to experience Block Island in the best possible way, you’d be hard pressed to find a better experience than a stay at the Sea Breeze. We’ve been going there for many years and it never fails to be what you you dream about in the months leading up to it. Staff are all awesome, the gardens and grounds are beautiful and relaxed, and the views of pond and ocean and the myriad birds are spectacular. Located just up the hill from the ferry dock but far enough away to escape the craziness is a great balance. Every morning a great breakfast is delivered to your door and it’s all “real food”, different every day, and delicious. Definitely do your homework for the room you want and book it early because they go quick. They’re celebrating their 40th year and it’s not hard to see how they’ve lasted this long in a tough business. They know how to do things right!

All my needs were met by all and then some. The perfection of the room and views were delightful. The basket of breakfast goodies that was delivered with love started my day by the sea with gratitude and much needed peace. Treat yourself to a stay at the Sea Breeze for a lasting experience.

We have access to a family home on Block Island, but every year we look forward to staying at the Sea Breeze. It’s such a wonderful location and the staff are just amazing. The rooms are quaint and delightfully decorated. The breakfast basket in the morning always hits the spot. We will be back again next year!!

Adorable cottages clustered together along the ocean. The rooms are small and decorated with antiques and local artwork. Breakfast is delivered in a picnic basket accompanied by beautiful, handmade, pottery, and glasses. I wish there was a choice of breakfast offerings, however. It feels like staying at a friend’s cottage! The staff were kind, polite, discreet, helpful, and welcoming. We stayed in room #7 which is below a private apar**ent. Our room was quite noisy in the early morning from the sounds of the young family above. The addition of carpeting or insulation upstairs would have been appreciated. No sleeping in for us! We traveled with another couple and would have enjoyed a common area where we could gather rather than visiting in one of our bedrooms. We stayed in October (one of the last weeks they were open) and would definitely come back in the summer where we can enjoy the beautiful grounds and gardens. I wish I could have given it 3.5⭐️ because 3⭐️ seems harsh.
