The Broad Street Inn is an absolutely delightful place to stay while visiting Nevada City and the surrounding area. The location is ideal for walking to the downtown area and the nearby Deer Creek trailhead. Our room was comfortable and super clean (as was the entire property). The second floor sunroom was nicely stocked with coffee, tea, fresh fruit and irresistible homemade biscotti. There was plenty of clean and comfortable outdoor seating on the front porch and spacious back yard. Julie and Ron are friendly, gracious and welcoming hosts. The Broad Street Inn's 5 Star status is well deserved!

Broad Street Inn is a lovely inn and a short walking distance to downtown Nevada City restaurants and shops. The inn and grounds are well maintained, clean and cozy and the hosts - Ron and Julie - are friendly and helpful. Each room is beautifully decorated. While no breakfast is served, there is fruit, oa**eal packages, and delicious biscotti available in the upstairs sun room. Coffee, tea, a refrigerator and microwave are also available for guests. I highly recommend!

This place is a real gem! Perfect location at the top of Broad Street with only a quick walk to historic Nevada City restaurants and shopping. Also just blocks away from the entrance to Deer Creek Trail - a must do hike! The Inn itself was super cozy and exceptionally clean! The owners are super nice people which I really enjoyed talking to. I will definitely return!

Wonderful, charming, quiet, historic and affordable inn on the edge of downtown. The inn's owners, Julie and Ron, are friendly and were so helpful to us with local recommendations on hikes, restaurants, historical places. We were three couples on a weekend visit to see a musical performance at the Miners Foundry. We were able to ditch the car and walk to the concert and restaurants. We enjoyed hiking the Deer Creek Tribute Trail without needing to drive to a trailhead. Rooms are small but wonderfully appointed with comfy beds. And we were encouraged to use the downstairs parlor for gathering. We also appreciated the quiet hours posted for 9 to 9. We all agreed we want to return. Thank you for the morning coffee and homemade biscotti!

Broad Street Inn is such a cozy welcoming space. We had a relaxing 4 night stay at the Carriage House. It had everything we needed and shows great attention to detail. Also, Julie and Ron gave us great ideas for nearby hikes, food, and activities. Thank you, Ron and Julie for a wonderful stay. See you again!

My wife and I stayed in the Carriage House Saturday and Sunday night. It was a really wonderful experience. The garden between the carriage house and the Inn was a great place to sit and have enjoy a conversation with some local friends. The Carriage House is very well outfitted with plates, glasses, spices etc. It even has a full washer/dryer! We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to our friends. The location is great since it is a short walk to downtown Nevada City, and within walking or biking distance to local hiking and biking trails.

Broad Street Inn is my very favorite place to stay. Julie and Ron have thought of every detail to make a guest feel at home -- cosy and comfy. The rooms are all pretty and thoughtfully decorated. I love the detail of the two-way reading lamp over the bed -- it's perfect -- and as a reader, I've been disappointed by some inns and air bnbs that don't provide reading lamps. There is also the sweet little galley area down the hall where you can make hot tea, drink the coffee and eat the yummy biscotti they provide, or even heat up your own leftovers. They've thought of every little thing. And they are so kind and fun to talk to. There is nothing not to like at Broad St Inn. 20 stars!

Romantic, historic inn. Lovingly restored with modern facilities while retaining all the charm. Perfect location - walking distance to everything but just outside the center so it was nice and quiet. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and helpful; they gave us great info on hikes, restaurants, live music and more, and they were just fun to talk with. Can't wait to go back!

Sometimes places in antique towns are exaggerated cute. Which makes me feel like I’m staying on a movie set. The Broad Street Inn is 100 percent real 1870 excepting the bathrooms and HVAC.
Nice morning coffee on the sun porch upstairs The owners live on the property, not fully ADA but close.
