Booked a night stay and when we realized that no kids were allowed, we needed to cancel because we were traveling with our granddaughter and we tried calling them several times and no one would answer the phone. We were charged for the room and did not stay there and we disputed the charge and it was taken off, but now it appears again on my credit card. Poor business practice when you won't answer your phone.

If you can afford something better, book it! No, we didn't see any live roaches, but the rooms are horrible with broken furniture, dirty, sand still on the sofa, bugs behind the headboards, disgusting floor and shower. Outside, cord for power washer at pool was left dragging across the pool for the 2 days we were there with kids swimming around it. They had 0 wash cloths (said people take them). Towels are paper thin. Had to do a pull and kick on the sliding door to open it far enough to barely squeeze through (and yes, this is the method that the housekeeping guy told us to use to open it). Broken door on kitchen cabinet. Trash left in the hallway for 2 days. If we had not prepaid for the stay and could afford to lose the money and upgrade, I would have run. Luckily, we brought our own bedding. DO NOT BRING KIDS HERE! I'll say everyone we came across who works there was very nice.

Booked a room here for a week for my wife and I in July of last year. The room was all paid for in advance. However I just got a email stating my booking had been cancelled 50 days before I was due to travel for my stay. The booking had been refunded. This isn’t acceptable. There’s limited availability everywhere in myrtle due to Carolina country music fest in June and they just want to charge more money for my room I booked and paid for a year ago. AVOID
