It’s truly therapeutic for the soul. For those seeking a more hands-on experience, the guesthouse offers a variety of activities that are sure to delight, especially families with children. Whether it’s fishing in a tranquil stream or exploring the forest at night in search of glowworms, there’s something special for everyone. Normally, I tend to avoid hotels popular with families. But here, in this zen-like setting, the sound of children laughing and playing only adds to the charm rather than detracting from the serenity. Every corner of this retreat is a photo opportunity, and every meal is a sumptuous feast. The ancient gate transports you to another world, and the evening white mist enhances the sense of wonder. The house-made osmanthus baijiu, reserved exclusively for guests, is a refined treat that speaks to the thoughtful touches that elevate the experience. The level of care and attention to details here far exceeds the cost, leaving you feeling truly pampered by the generosity of this guesthouse and its staff, who go above and beyond to make you feel like an honored guest. I was particularly impressed by the staff and their evident training. They were polite, enthusiastic, and fully invested in ensuring that guests had a great stay. In similar boutique hotels, you might expect to see more of the owner’s presence. But at Shouzhou, the front-of-house staff take full ownership of running the property, with a level of professionalism that is both refreshing and commendable. Our journey from Qingchengshan to Qionglai and onward to Emeishan was long, but entirely worth it. We are especially grateful to the young front-of-house male staff and his colleague, who graciously offered to drive us nearly 30 minutes to a location where we could catch a Didi to Emeishan. This kind gesture was the embodiment of hospitality at its finest. I hope more people discover this hidden gem and have the chance to experience its uplifting atmosphere for themselves.

Las sábanas estaban limpias, higiénicas y de un material cómodo, y los artículos de aseo eran de buena calidad. Los dos dueños son muy amables y se esfuerzan por satisfacer las peticiones razonables de los huéspedes. Se nota que gestionan el hotelito y atienden a los clientes con dedicación y esmero. Además, nosotros dos echaremos de menos la sensación de relajación física y mental que teníamos al sentarnos bajo el alero por la noche, viendo la lluvia, escuchando el canto de los insectos, jugando con los gatos y los perros, y buscando ranas. Trabajar es realmente agotador.

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad. I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either). As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office. A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain). On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan. Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.

¡Qué estancia tan agradable! El dueño es muy amable y servicial. Llegué tarde por la noche, pero me esperó pacientemente para registrarme. El hotel está limpio y no huele a cigarrillo. La ubicación también es excelente: a poca distancia del metro, Yangtianwo, la ciudad antigua de Guanxian y mucho más. ¡Sin duda volveré!

Acabo de terminar mi estancia en este hotel y debo decir que ha superado mis expectativas más que cualquier otra experiencia reciente. Desde el momento de la llegada, cada detalle refleja el cuidado y la atención del hotel. Las habitaciones del hotel están diseñadas con amplias vistas, con paisajes urbanos o de jardines pintorescos a través de las ventanas de piso a techo. La ropa de cama es suave y cómoda, e incluso la selección del minibar muestra un toque de consideración. Aprecio especialmente la atención del hotel a los detalles: el aislamiento acústico es excelente, el sistema inteligente de iluminación y cortinas es conveniente, e incluso la ubicación de los enchufes está pensada para la comodidad del usuario. Las aguas termales privadas ofrecen una excelente privacidad y confort. El personal es atento y eficiente, y se forma un grupo de servicio privado para atender a los huéspedes. Lo que más me impresionó fue que, después de hacer el check-out, me di cuenta de que las gafas de mi hijo se habían quedado en la habitación. Contacté con el personal del hotel para que me ayudaran a buscarlas, y una vez encontradas, se encargaron de enviármelas de inmediato. Un aplauso por el servicio. Ya lo he recomendado a varios amigos y espero volver a alojarme aquí pronto.

El diseño de la habitación es excelente e incluye una bañera privada. Las instalaciones son completas. Desventajas: 1. Hay lavadora, pero no secadora. Esto no supone un problema en verano, pero podría serlo en invierno. 2. El desayuno tiene una presentación atractiva, pero es poco nutritivo. Por ejemplo, las verduras encurtidas y el rábano seco ya suman dos platos. El resto incluye: huevos, batatas (del tamaño de un dedo delgado), maíz (del grosor de medio dedo), panecillos al vapor (del tamaño de medio puño) y cuatro tomates cherry. Es apto solo para mujeres; a los hombres probablemente les resulte insuficiente. La azotea ofrece una buena vista y los servicios cercanos son muy prácticos.

El lugar es bueno, a unos minutos a pie de la canyon caliente de las cuatro temporadas, el caliente es muy conveniente, la higiene ambiental es limpia, el desayuno de pastel está preparado muy completo, el jefe no habla mucho bien, el día de la salida va a la montaña negra occidental, el tiempo todavía nos ha molestado el jefe para enviarnos a la ciudad, Pero el aire acondicionado no es muy eficaz, pero hay calefacción eléctrica no es frío. Las fotos se olvidan de hacerlo. En definitiva, vale la pena elegir en la bahía de flores

El servicio fue muy bueno, el mayordomo se comunicó con nosotros con anticipación para informarnos de las precauciones, cuando llegamos al estacionamiento tomó la iniciativa de ayudarnos a llevar nuestro equipaje a la habitación. La habitación también proporciona albornoces y zapatillas para los niños, este detalle me hace sentir que está muy cuidado, me he alojado en muchísimos hoteles y B&B y es raro que estén preparados para niños. Aunque no tenemos hijos. El ambiente es muy bueno y hay muchos lugares aptos para tomar fotografías hermosas, la tienda es muy atenta y tiene un folleto para que todos tomen fotografías como referencia. Fue muy agradable escuchar música en el bar de la azotea por la noche.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Central International Hotel in Dujiangyan, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in China. First, the location and views are simply mesmerizing. My room overlooked the river and the surrounding mountains, and waking up to that scenery every morning felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese painting. The flowing river below and the misty peaks in the distance created a peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the view from the window was nothing short of spectacular – highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and photography. Cleanliness – absolutely flawless: The entire hotel, from the lobby to the corridors to the rooms, was spotless. Everything smelled fresh and looked well-maintained. I'm quite particular about hygiene, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The sheets were crisp, the bathroom was gleaming, and every surface was dust-free. It's clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work. 👉 A very special thank you to the Housekeeping Supervisor, who ensured my room was always in perfect condition. Her attention to detail and warm professionalism did not go unnoticed – she truly made me feel cared for during my entire stay. 👉 The front desk team – absolute stars! I would especially like to thank Ms. Kiki and Ms. Vivian at the reception. From the moment I checked in, they were welcoming, efficient, and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to answer all my questions, recommend local attractions, and even helped me with transportation arrangements. Their English was excellent, and their genuine smiles made every interaction a pleasure. They are a real asset to this hotel. Thank you, Central International Hotel team – especially Ms. Kiki, Ms. Vivian, and the wonderful housekeeping supervisor – for making my stay unforgettable.
