LLanJiangWhen you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.
Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.
We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path. We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.
I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.
A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

AAntonioGravitaUbicado en pleno centro de Dujiangyang, a 100 m del Panda Gigante de Selfies y de la estación de tren (conexión directa a Chengdu por 10 yuanes), y a 500 m del pintoresco Dujiangyan. Esta casa de familia se encuentra en la segunda planta de un complejo. No la verá hasta que mire hacia arriba. Hay un ascensor y dos escaleras para subir. Hay muchos lugares para relajarse. El propietario es muy amable y atento. El desayuno se sirve directamente en su habitación a las 8:30.

AAaronpiao開過一段幽靜的竹海小徑便來到守拙。前台小李姐姐熱情周到、細緻妥帖；進門即刻奉茶、提拿行李，娓娓道來守拙的獨特匠心，暖意自來。民宿兼具川西風骨與京都園林雅緻，一步一景皆藏巧思，木構木飾温潤質樸，讓人全身心擁入自然懷抱，靜享歸真之趣。
若求遠離喧囂、修身養性，守拙必是極好之選。大門口的話癆小鸚鵡和院子慵懶的貓咪小花不僅是小朋友的最愛也為守拙增添一份“家”的温暖。
更暖心的是途中小插曲：愛車輪胎漏氣未察，民宿大叔及時發現，又與管家王姓小哥哥火速相助、妥善處理，助我們平安歸家。這份貼心與擔當，遠超期待，感念於心。
擇守拙而居，得山水清歡，遇人間善意，此行圓滿，必再回訪。

AAndrewBWhere to start! If you are looking for a few nights away from the bustle of Chinese cities and you want to relax and unwind in nature then Suxi Qingshan Forest Homestay is perfect!
The hotel is easily accessible from Chengdu. A short 25 minutes train ride from Chengdu to Qingchengshan station and then the hotel staff will arrange to pick you up.
As soon as you arrive you will realise what an absolute gem this hotel is!
The hotel is nestled amongst the hills with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. This is a luxury hotel with the services and infrastructure to match.
We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea upon arrival and you also have the possibility to enjoy a hot water jacuzzi, a fitness area, walks around the hotel forest grounds as well as many other experiences proposed by the hotel.
The hotel is only 15 mins drive from Dujiangyan Giant Panda Centre and the hotel staff organised transport there and back for us. We would recommend this Panda reserve as it is much quieter than the reserves in Chengdu!
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was truly exceptional! We chose the set menu, which took us on a culinary journey through Sichuan. Each plate was refined, delicious and made using fresh ingredients.
The breakfast was equally delicious, fresh and healthy.
We would like to highlight the kindness and warmth of all the hotel staff. They were always available to answer any questions and organise activities to make our stay magical. The hotel staff were able to communicate with us in both English and French.
We stayed at Suxi Homestay looking for a relaxing few days away from cities and we were blown away by the experience! We would have loved to have extended our stay!

1118239****Acabo de terminar mi estancia en este hotel y debo decir que ha superado mis expectativas más que cualquier otra experiencia reciente. Desde el momento de la llegada, cada detalle refleja el cuidado y la atención del hotel.
Las habitaciones del hotel están diseñadas con amplias vistas, con paisajes urbanos o de jardines pintorescos a través de las ventanas de piso a techo. La ropa de cama es suave y cómoda, e incluso la selección del minibar muestra un toque de consideración. Aprecio especialmente la atención del hotel a los detalles: el aislamiento acústico es excelente, el sistema inteligente de iluminación y cortinas es conveniente, e incluso la ubicación de los enchufes está pensada para la comodidad del usuario. Las aguas termales privadas ofrecen una excelente privacidad y confort.
El personal es atento y eficiente, y se forma un grupo de servicio privado para atender a los huéspedes.
Lo que más me impresionó fue que, después de hacer el check-out, me di cuenta de que las gafas de mi hijo se habían quedado en la habitación. Contacté con el personal del hotel para que me ayudaran a buscarlas, y una vez encontradas, se encargaron de enviármelas de inmediato. Un aplauso por el servicio.
Ya lo he recomendado a varios amigos y espero volver a alojarme aquí pronto.

Este lugar era tal cual se veía en las fotos: precioso y con un servicio excelente. Los anfitriones fueron increíblemente amables e incluso nos llevaron en coche hasta la entrada de la montaña Qingcheng y la estación de tren de Qingcheng. Si planeas subir a la montaña Qingcheng, te recomiendo totalmente alojarte aquí.
1. La habitación era muy espaciosa y se veía igual que en las fotos. Todo se sentía fresco, limpio y muy cómodo.
2. La cama era muy suave y todas las comodidades eran modernas y bien pensadas.
3. El personal fue amable, atento y, en general, encantador.
4. Excelente ubicación: cerca de la estación de Qingcheng y de la montaña.
5. El desayuno está incluido, pero lamentablemente nos despertamos demasiado tarde para probarlo. ¡La próxima vez seguro! Sin embargo, sí almorzamos allí y estaba delicioso.
6. Sinceramente, todo estuvo genial. Valió la pena cada centavo.

UUsuario invitadoHigiene excelente. Reservé una habitación con vistas a la montaña y al río y me hicieron un upgrade gratuito a una Xuan Yue. Las vistas a la montaña y al río desde la ventana eran preciosas, con aguas termales gratuitas y té de cortesía. ¡Tengo que alabar a la recepcionista, fue muy amable! El hotel está a unos 100 metros a pie de la estación Lidui Park. Por la noche, vimos las ”lágrimas azules” en el Puente Sur y paseamos por la antigua ciudad de Guanxian. Al día siguiente, después del desayuno (el desayuno puede satisfacer los gustos de diferentes personas), fuimos a Dujiangyan. ¡Definitivamente es una opción inmejorable para alojarse en Dujiangyan!

UUsuario invitadoI liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad.
I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either).
As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office.
A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain).
On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan.
Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.

ZZhushichengEl hotel es asequible y económico. La habitación está limpia y ordenada, y el check-in también es muy bueno. Hay servicio de transporte gratuito, así que es muy cómodo ir al aeropuerto. Pero en recepción se olvidaron de pedirme mi número de móvil la primera vez y solo me contestaron la segunda. ¡Debo tener esto en cuenta la próxima vez! En general, sigue siendo bueno.
