I have recently had the delightful experience of a 2 week stay at Tamarind Tree Resort in Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka. The physical surroundings are verdant and well-tended by a team of gardeners with magnificent plantings of tamarind, cashews, avocados, coconut, etc. The huge salt-chlorine swimming pool is superbly maintained and pristine clean, all 9m x 14m and 2.5m deep. I could not resist and was in there daily until my fingers wrinkled! My room was spacious and well-appointed with everything functioning perfectly. Room service was efficient with all requests met. There was a daily spread of most delicious food for breakfast, lunch & dinner, with a variety of tasty interesting local dishes available. Many ingredients were harvested fresh from the garden. All of the hotel staff were friendly, responsive and accommodating of my requests, going out of their way to ensure complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend Tamarind Tree Resort as your choice of stay in Sri Lanka. Cheers .. Jenny SMITH

La noche, cuando se fue de la mañana, comió desayuno, se volvió a la playa, no fue a la piscina. Habitación: muy grande, la cama es de dos metros de ancho (a continuación, se encontró que todos los jetwing hoteles tenían camas de 2 metros de ancho), teníamos que añadir una cama, el hermano de la recepción nos sugerió que comprobáramos la habitación primero y ver si quiere añadir una cama....Podría dar una cama más en el caso de tres personas una que serían incómodas Gracia. Abra la puerta del balcón hacia el mar de la playa, algunos árboles se han ahogado, ruidoso y buen humor. La instalación de la habitación es de años, pero la salud es buena, no hay dentistas disponibles, porque el primer piso está en el mar, hay muchas botas, por favor traiga agua de botas. Bueno el desayuno, el nivel de la comida en Sri Lanka es muy bajo, al principio se sentía general, luego se fue a la calle completa, después de haber vivido más mejores hoteles, se encontró que aquí no es bueno centrarse en esta casa muy barata! ¡En comparación con otros jetwings turbulentos 1800+, el precio es muy alto! (Por supuesto, el nivel global debe ser inferior a la yala de jetwing y a la casa de luz)

I had the privilege of staying twice at this place! The room was clean and tidy and yes a few things around the place need a bit of a face lift but let me tell what you will get! Nasmeer and his team will go above and beyond for you! You will always be greeted with a welcoming smile and nothing and I mean nothing is to much trouble! The location on the beach is amazing and after school the local children and adults will be your entertainment.. as the community gathers on the beach you will watch the children play soccer ( football), cricket and fly kites, there is music and laughter all while you sit either around the stunning pool or on your balcony watching the spectacular sun set! This place is well worth a stay!

Solo estuvimos la noche de llegada a Sri Lanka, pero lo que estuvimos en el hotel, todo perfecto. Habitación preciosa, muy limpia, nueva y preciosas vistas. El desayuno estupendo. La decoración del hotel es muy bonita. Como punto flojo, frente a la piscina aparcan muchos coches y no resulta muy agradable.

Esta era mi tercera estancia en los Goldi Sands, honestamente, la última vez fue hace casi 20 años, pero tuve un gran tiempo atrás, entonces tenía grandes expectativas. En los 20 años que se han producido, el hotel ha tenido una revamp, doble tamaño, doble número de piscinas, ha añadido un ascensor y han eliminado los bungalows frente a la playa. El hotel está muy bien, pero no se puede ir a la calle. Llegamos tarde, porque nuestro vuelo había sido retrasado, todo lo que quería era un par de botellas de cerveza, llegaron, pero casi tuve que pedir. Reservé un taxi al aeropuerto con el escritorio delantero, pero se olvidaron, las cafeterías de la cena estaban en torno a la venta dura en lugar de servir. El desayuno, en cuanto a mi memoria, me sirve como siempre fue maravilloso, el desayuno de hoy es el mismo día cada día y carece de imaginación, está mal presentado, y incluye el peor café de la historia. El hotel tiene un número confuso de tarifas desde todo incluido a habitación, lo que significa que si quieres comprar una bebida, se tarda para siempre como tienen que comprobar su ”Estado” y luego si pagas dinero, tienen que ir al cajero porque no tienen flotación. This is my first time been visited to covanro with my team members & family. Nice ambience, cool & calm relaxing place. This is the ideal place to enjoy and relax with families/ friends. The service given by all satff members @ covanro is unbelievable. we were wamly welcome by front staff. The restaurant service staff was fantastic and service oriented. The food was delicious and nicely arranged buffet with mouth watering Desserts. Thank you very much to covanro Ambassadors for made us memorable experience. Special thanks to Mr. Janaka (General Manager) for great support and assistance. Thank you all once again. Good luck!!! Will visit again.

This place is excellent for a stay. Especially if coming to or from the international airport. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. The room is excellent, pristine and equipped for all that is needed for our overnight stay. The bed is also very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to the room however I chose to have this at the small table and chairs outside of the room on a small terrace. A perfect place for this. The breakfast is more than adequate, also caters for me as a vegetarian. I asked for a knock at my door to be woken up in case I had slept thrmy alarm and this was given. Such a delightful place to stay. A small courtyard garden with a static table and seats if wanted. Garden lights during the evening make this a pretty area to relax. Tea, coffee and water are available in the room. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The accommodation is located down a side road from the main road. This means it’s nice and quiet. For dinner we decided to walk jumping a few metres to another hotel which served food. However, Faith Hotel do have menus for which to order food which would be delivered if required. Alternatively, we were offered an option of being taken to another place if we wished. We had booked for 2 separate airport transfers as we were travelling on separately to different places. This was organised by and with the owner dropping us all in good time. I noted while at the stay, information regarding trips to places and even tours can be organised. Additionally there is information on an Ayurveda treatments option at a place called Ayurveda Villa which really looked good. This had different packages with a stay including food consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to decide on the relevant treatments for your package. To use up our rupees we were able to pay part cash, part card which was so convenient. This couple really do offer everything in a stay at Airport Faith Hotel. They are passionate about what they do, are committed to making your stay the best. They have everything available or on hand and can’t do enough to make your stay a happy and good one. I highly recommend a stay here.

El día siguiente debía salir a las 6:30 de la mañana, así que prepararon el desayuno justo después de las 6 en punto, dos barras de tortilla, dos sándwiches y una gran taza de café. Después de todo, las condiciones no son comparables a las de los 5 nuevos hoteles de la ciudad, lo cual es bastante justo. El jefe también ofrece servicios de alquiler de coches. No lo probé porque el tráfico en Sri Lanka es muy grande. Si tiene confianza en sus habilidades de conducción, puede conducir solo.
