Old Swan

old swan的位置極好，清晨房間裏就可以聽到鳥鳴。推開窗户就可以看到古老的街道和茅草屋。 漫步在小街上，英國鄉村味道撲面而來。 晚上到的時候就把氛圍也很好，有時間可以喝一杯。 樓梯特別有年代感，二樓的牆壁有點歪，也很有代入感。

Beautiful hotel and grounds. We were fortunate in our timing to see beautiful wisteria covering a whole brick wall of the restaurant. We enjoyed playing tennis and picnicking in the garden, and then had a lovely dinner in the restaurant where staff were amazingly thoughtful. In the evening we went over to the Old Swan for some Aperol and a play in the children's play area. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway and we'll definitely be back.

Stay was booked as a gift for us we did not know what to expect but pleasantly suprised. If we came to the area again would certainly consider another stay

My husband and I had 5 nights at this lovely old Inn. We had the garden suite, very spacious, super comfortable bed, a bathroom at one end and a walk-in shower at the other end (with lovelyL'Occitane toiletries) and really quiet. We had lovely walks through the beautiful village and along the river Windrush. The location within easy reach of Oxford and the Cotswold towns was ideal for us. The staff were friendly and helpful, but seemed to be rather overstretched. Breakfast was included in our package and was excellent. The dinner menu is short, and while not fine dining, the food was fine - fish and chips very good, tasty shepherd's pie. We only had 1 lunch, a shared Ploughman's. Our only complaint was that housekeeping only arrived at our room at about 3pm every day, just as we returned from our wanderings and wanting a rest. We would happily stay again.

We had a lovely time - we couldn’t fault it from the attention we got on arrival to the time we checked out we felt as valued guests. It’s a shame that the Spa is run so unprofessionally - not only we didn’t get booked in despite registering our interest at the time of booking our stay, we were not even offered to use the facilities as a consolation for not getting back to us in the first place - disappointing…

We visited this pub for lunch on Wed essay after a walk around minster lovell,I ordered a salmon sandwich my partner had gnocchi well we were shocked at the meal that came out a small sandwich with 5 crisps in a pot and my Partners was even smaller,terrible value for money at £36 u should be wearing a mask and *****ed shirt ,I worked in the food I ndustry for 24 years and know cost of these things won't be returning

Beautiful location but seriously overpriced and underwhelming. Spa was nice but your time for relaxation is limited to 90 minutes due to only allowing 8 people in at a time (it is small). Room was....nice, but the paint was peeling off around the windows and there were several cracks in the paint on the walls, 3 of the lights weren't working, the shower head felt and looked cheap and had been cable tied into position so the direction of the water was off centre. The non slip bath mat in the shower, whilst clean, was old and discoloured. The restaurant was quite a nice space but lacked a**osphere. One of the waitresses didnt seem to know some of the dishes on the menu. Main course was nice but pudding was the strangest thing I have ever eaten. Supposed to be 'carrot cake'. It came in a bowl and looked like a Trifle. It definitely wasn't a slice of cake! A hard spiced biscuit at the bottom, some sultanas, cubes of roasted carrot and a topping that I'm assuming was supposed to be a cream cheese frosting. It tasted sour and a bit off. Unpleasant. The espresso Martini's were delicious though. The dining experience put us off opting to stay for breakfast the next morning. Checking out was an experience. We had been charged and extra £300 as a deposit! The receptionist told us that it was standard practice and that it would be released back to us in 2 - 3 working days. Im sure their bank account is earning a pretty penny on interest if this is done toeveryy customer! None of this was communicated to us at check in and it all felt very sneaky and underhand. This hotel describes itself as 'luxury'. Couldn't be further from the truth. It feels like it's trying very hard to be 'luxury' but it falls short in quite a lot of areas. Obviously we will not be returning.

Overall overpriced for what I expected, the spa is tiny and no where to lie down if other people are using, the restaurant attempted to charge my tipsy partner £400 for a meal, until I noticed and asked to view the receipt and was charged for 4 meals not 2. Full English breakfast was a half English breakfast! Wouldn’t recommend, disappointed considering the price and the beautiful location

Very Pleasant staff throughout the hotel, excellent room and quality bedding. Unfortunately The breakfast let the hotel down in our opinion. The coffee was weak and lacking a proper fresh coffee aroma and taste, the fried eggs were very “snotty” we had to scrap the uncooked white off the cooked part of the eggs. The half a tomato was raw, solid and looked as it had been blow-torched. Someone needs to oversee the cooked breakfast operation to ensure a high standard is achieved and is consistent. Also of note the breakfast room was not particularly busy so there is no excuse for the above.
