If I could give this place 20/10 for service, I would. When we arrived at the location, we were in a complete state of panic as we thought we had been scammed by the gas station up the road. After checking us in (a few hours early), the receptionist kindly accompanied us back to the gas station and helped us translate between Italian and English, clarifying the misunderstanding of the situation. This was exceptional service and kindness we were not expecting. The room itself was incredibly luxurious - we actually had 2 bedrooms (family suite) for 2 people. The walk-in wardrobe was a delightful surprise, although we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it. As we were both working while on holiday, the study desk in each room gave us the privacy and space to do our meetings and work independently. The bar fridge was useful for us to store our salads, snacks and bottled drinks. The bed was super comfortable and we had a very restful sleep. The pillows were also the right height. Thankfully, there was air conditioning - our previous hotel did not. We slept like babies. The bathroom had all the amenities, including a hairdryer which is essential for me. Best for last - breakfast the next morning was an absolute feast. The continental style breakfast spread was generous and we indulged in pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits and marvellous coffee. I believe everything is baked fresh in house. As we checked out, we were even gifted a bag of pastries to take on our journey with us. ＜3 I highly recommend this place, and I am ever grateful to the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed here.

The host was excellent throughout the stay! The services were excellent! Safe parking at the property! An accommodation that far exceeded my expectations regarding the city of Messina! Gazda a fost excelentă pe toată perioada șederii! Serviciile au fost excelente! Parcarea la proprietate in siguranță! Giovanni is a superb host! Attentive, and helpful. The place is immaculate, spacious and comfy. Breakfast is a plus!

The room was very clean and modern. The parking was convenient and safe. A very good choice for our stay in Messina.

Giovanni & Paula went beyond service being our taxi when we were clueless on how to get one. Room was clean and comfortable and they put out a welcome breakfast spread. Location for us was out of way but that was on me.

The rooms were clean and spacious; we had a 2-bedroom unit with a huge closet that was bigger than my first apartment. The proprietor was incredibly kind and helpful and provided lovely small details that many other places do not, such as conditioner and a wine opener. Couldn't have been happier with the service and stay.

Google Maps gave us lots of problems when travelling to this property but Giovanni was so helpful...He was a superb host and could not have helped more.

Principessa Mafalda never failed us in our return. Many thanks to Avi who is very helpful. the cleaning lady is also doing a fantastic job every day.

We arrived late in Messina and were so lucky to get a room here. The help and kindness we received from Giuseppe was quite outstanding. we had a wonderful stay here in the very nice, spacy rooms and with parking included. We can only give Principessa Mafalda our highest recommendation. Thank you, Giuseppe, for all your help :-)

The reception (Avi) was extremely kind and polite. My family and I were supposed to arrive at 8pm on a Sunday but arrived at the hotel almost 9pm already but Avi waited for us. Normally the reception is not manned after 8pm. After we checked in, Avi was still very patient in answering the tons of questions i had about Messina. We didn’t see so much staff there during our stay but since we had Avi he was more than enough whom we needed. The Italian breakfast was simple and nice. Avi made sure we ate how much we wanted. During the pandemic, buffet breakfast is not available anymore. Finding the hotel can be tricky if you are not familiar with Messina like us. We rented a car and i made sure it has a gps navigation system. The room service made sure we had an abundant supply of towels and room was perfectly cleaned daily. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. And all because of our first and lasting impression of Avi’s excellent service. We will definitely come here again this October.
