What a gem of a property in the Accor catalog of accommodation and hospitality! I am a senior, solo, single traveler, and Ibis rooms are just fine with me! The Wi-Fi could be a little bit better, but that's the problem with the vendor and the Internet service Provider, not the Ibis. Although this Ibis would be within their rights to demand better service- in 2023, with 100+ rooms. I came directly from an Ibis in Lisbon, which had fewer items for breakfast, and no Chef for evening dinner! The breakfast is a wonderful mix of Moroccan, Arabic, French foods, but also American/English. Scrambled eggs are made without dairy, and I brought my own gluten-free bread from Carrefour to be sure. While they do have a container of Honey, I bring my own, as I don't like touching containers and spoons touched by other customers... another customer absconded with my honey yesterday, and one of the wait staff had to retrieve it! Three languages are spoken here: Moroccan, Arabic, French, and plenty of English. Any word that is too specific can be translated on any of the web translation sources. Like when I needed to explain that DHL was bringing a package with my gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that Carrefour does not stock! There's been some shuffling of the wait staff in the last few days, but besides being new, quiet, and shy, they are all talented and all understand hospitality. The evening dinner is attended to by the top echelon of the hotel staff and everything is more than fine – which in my case means a very plain and simple American taste. Since I don't carry currency, the evening food bill goes on my room tab. Breakfast was part of the booking in the first place, but I don't fully understand what ”half-board” means, if that means evening dinner, so I will be inquiring about that. Being next-door to the train station means it's a three minute walk to excellent sight seeing and people watching. And McDonald's of you so care, and at least two mobile phone SIM shops. Carrefour is a 10 minute walk, and there is a shopping mall which is about a 20 minute walk which I will be visiting for recreation purposes and window shopping, to get a feel for the retail culture of this city. And people watching! I did read about the potable water situation on a Moroccan tourism page. This Ibis has plenty of bottled water, so just ask- at Reception and of course in the Restaurant. I also read about cash versus credit card. The three places that I have spent money at have all accepted cards. It is currently Ramadan, but this Ibis respects International tourists' needs and wants. No disruption of service- and the staff seem to be very happy to be celebrating the holiday. My room had two minor maintenance issues, which were resolved quickly. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and well manicured. I have stayed with other brand name chain hotels in the US and Europe. Lo que me gusta es que me recomienda. Está bien y agradable. No sepa por qué las personas son tan negativas sobre este lugar, me quedaría aquí otra vez. Limpias, camas hechos todos los días, toallas limpias, personal amigable. Situado a veinte minutos a pie de la plaza, y los calzones. La licencia de salida en torno al rincón, que vende mucha cerveza, vino y bebidas. £11.00, para una botella de vino y seis cervezas. Altamente recomendado!!!

El albergue está en una fantástica ubicación en el centro, a sólo cinco minutos a pie de la gran plaza! A pesar de que el propio albergue estaba bastante tranquilo hay un jazz bar a la puerta, lo que significaba que a veces fue muy tarde a la noche - pero sólo usé plugs de orejas y no me molestó mucho. También, mientras estaba en mi estancia, estaban haciendo un trabajo de construcción que fue ruidoso durante el día, sin embargo, estaba fuera y en la mayoría de los tiempos, así que no me causaba ningún problema. En general, recomendaría Amour D'Auberge y me quedaría aquí de nuevo en el futuro :-)

UUsuario invitadoEn el hotel, el hotel es un hotel muy guapo, y el hotel es un hotel muy guapo. El hotel, relativamente nuevo, es simplemente increíble con el impresionante lobby y villas, así como jardines expansionistas con 2700 olivares. El actuante gerente general Mamdouh es el hotelero perfecto y consumido, siempre presentes comprobando todo no parado, para asegurar que la experiencia de los huéspedes no es menos que 5-stars. Jalal de su F&B nos sorprendió con una gran cantidad de torta de limonada para volver a Londres que no estaba disponible en dos desayunos que nos perdíamos después de nuestro primer desayuno. El Habib es un impresionante servidor que está dispuesto a darle al menos tres deseos con su lámpara mágica! Khalid el Manejo de Duty también pregunta no parada cómo pueden mejorar un servicio que ya es por excelencia. El personal de la sala de estar en el centro de fitness limpiando cada máquina con cuatro pulverizadores que no dejan ni polvo ni germen. Toda la equipo está muy bien entrenado y profesional y muy comprometido en su deseo de superar sus expectativas. La sincronización de sus esfuerzos, de la manera más natural y sincera, siempre con grandes sonrisas, traduce en nada menos que una experiencia realmente memorable. ¡Gracias a todos! ¡Shukran! Si quieres que “palácio en medio de la experiencia de oasis” en Marrakech, no lo conseguirás mejor que en el Oberoi!

UUsuario invitadoLet’s start from the beginning…. Myself and my son arrived at the Riad in the evening . We were followed by someone who spoke about knowing where the Riad was . We DID NOT ask him for directions . Once we arrived at the property the manager let us in. The man was demanding money from us for showing us to the property . I explained several times I did not ask for directions and would not be giving him any money . The manager stood with the door open and even allowed him to step in . Why wouldn’t you tell him to leave and shut the door instead of allowing him to try and intimate us ? Luckily I’m not easily intimidated but it’s not the point it wasn’t a nice start to our holiday . Once we arrived in the room it looked completely different to the pictures extremely small for 2 adults . Nevertheless we left our luggage and left out to explore for an hour . Once back I sat on the bed and noticed how hard it was . (Single beds were requested due to sharing with my 21 year old son). The next morning I had pain down my left side due to the bed being so hard so went to speak to the manager . This went on for a few days back and forth , asking for extra duvets to sleep on . I was then told there was nothing that could be done . As I was still unhappy I was told to contact *********** . I could tell the manager wasn’t particularly bothered or interested. I then asked to speak with the owner (the managers wife ) and was told she was away in the USA. I managed to get her number and sent 2 messages . Both messages were ignored . Over a period of 5 days I spoke with the manager face to face and on WhatsApp numerous times . Why as a manager you are communicating on WhatsApp is beyond me. Laziness and lack of interest ( you live within with Riad) Quick to ask for the tax on the first day though. I don’t think it’s fair I paid almost £600 to be treated like that . You ruined our first experience of Marrakesh. It’s not good enough to say ‘what should I do about it ‘ and ‘sorry’ I should have been refunded for the days left after my complaint so I could go and stay somewhere with a reasonable bed . I even explained I’d donated a kidney last year so needed a comfortable bed . This is not too much to ask it’s basic . Didn’t want to refund any money at all…GREEDY. Not sure why you some platforms you’ve advised a rooftop pool ? It’s a small terrace area with your personal laundry room . Over the wall is a building of rubble where rubbish is burnt and a graveyard so not a nice view at all . Also can I address the breakfast as it looks nothing like the picture . It consist of 2 flat pastries , a small orange juice , an over sweet Moroccan tea , a small jam & marmalade and a huge basked of bread . This is the same every day . The bathroom Was not upto a good hygiene standard (see pics) I informed the manager the hot water had gone cold . UUsuario invitadoEl personal es increíblemente agradable, amable y servicial, haciendo así la semana estancia muy confortable. La piscina está muy cuidada, con tumbonas y toallas. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, cuentan con aire acondicionado, camas grandes y cómodas, y la limpieza es muy buena. Se respira mucha paz en las instalaciones del hotel. Su ubicación es muy buena, ya que está fuera del meollo del centro de la cuidad y al cual puedes ir caminando en unos 20 minutos. El servicio del desayuno es muy muy completo y variado.
Si vuelvo a Marrakech, volveré a hospedarme en este hotel.

Our room was excellent on the first floor and breakfast served in bed till 11:45 if you miss breakfast till 10:30 or 11:00 weekend. The pool is heated that’s one of the main reason we come. As most hôtel have no outdoor heated pool. We rate a 5 star breakfast. And a 5 star Sunday brunch . The pool side food is so good and the salat are excellent. The staff are very friendly . They all know us as we come back 4 times so far and it never disappoints. The aircon is excellent too. Not noisy at all.

UUsuario invitadoBackground: stayed 3 nights over new year 22/23 with the family. Hotel is twinned with The Opera Plaza Hotel, but we stayed in the Red Hotel Section. The Good: friendly staff, clean rooms, good service and housekeeping, wonderful buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, Morocco’s style pancakes and bread made on demand, pool area is fabulous and you could easily spend hours there. Location was good with most tourist attractions a 5 to 10 min cab ride away. The venue has a bowling alley and a restaurant with international football shown every day, it is not rowdy and is a nice atmosphere to watch a match. Close to Menara Mall and some western fast food places. The not so good: the red hotel is a bit dated, carpets in common areas are a bit frayed and the room stayed in was very basic with uncomfortable pillows and facing the street was noisy. Overall: this is an upper 3 star / lower 4 star hotel. I would rate 7 out of 10. I think most people would be happy with a short stay at this hotel for a reasonable price. I have read some of the other reviews on trip advisor which can put you off but our experience was fine. I also note the comment about a new year event on another review, we were at the hotel at the same time (the red hotel part) but not invited to anything.

FFarahTuvimos el placer de alojarnos en el Riad Jibril durante nuestra visita a Marrakech, ¡y fue una experiencia tan maravillosa!
Nuestro anfitrión, Iheb, realmente merece el título de leyenda. Desde el momento en que nos registramos hasta que nos marchamos, hizo que nuestra estancia fuera memorable. Si bien puede que no sea un hotel de 5 estrellas, brindó una experiencia marroquí única y auténtica que superó nuestras expectativas.
El riad en sí, con su arquitectura tradicional, estaba limpio y acogedor. Lo más destacado fue sin duda la serena terraza, un oasis de paz lejos del bullicio de la medina. Una noche disfrutamos de sheesha en la terraza, una experiencia encantadora que solo nos costó unos 70 MAD. También tuvimos el placer de cenar en la terraza, donde disfrutamos de unos deliciosos tajines a un precio muy razonable de 60 MAD cada uno. Las habilidades culinarias del chef fueron realmente impresionantes. El desayuno que se sirve cada mañana era tradicional y hogareño también.
Lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera realmente especial fue el ambiente cálido y acogedor creado por Iheb y el personal. Llegamos como invitados pero nos fuimos sintiéndonos amigos. Incluso nos hicimos amigos de los dos adorables gatitos residentes, Sofia, la atigrada de pelo largo, y Leena, la gatita pelirroja. Su presencia añadió un toque extra de encanto a nuestra estancia.
La ubicación del Riad Jibril era perfecta y el camello frente a la casa de cambio sirvió como un excelente punto de referencia. El riad estaba en el callejón opuesto, en la segunda puerta, por lo que era fácil de encontrar. Disfrutamos especialmente de su proximidad a Kasbah, cerca de Zeitun Cafe, uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para visitar por la noche. La terraza iluminada por faroles de la cafetería ofrecía unas vistas majestuosas que hicieron que nuestras veladas fueran aún más memorables.

UUsuario invitadoEste hotel no es un 4 estrellas! Es un hotel básico barato que hago un montón de viajes para tratar de ofrecer una opinión equilibrada. Positivos: La ubicación es fantástica tan cerca de la plaza y es fácil de caminar a otras atracciones lo hacen una base perfecta. La piscina también hace que el hotel sea digno de la estancia, aunque no se calienta que no detuvo a muchas personas, es un poco de oasis lejos de la locura de Marrakech, nunca un problema de conseguir camas solares tampoco. El hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad, y el hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad. ¡El hotel está cansado de mirar y necesita un ascensor facial, pero era limpio! El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, pero no puedes comprar bebidas o comida por tarjeta en el hotel, así que siempre tienes que tener dinero. Las habitaciones están limpias y tenían todo lo que necesitaba, las camas estaban cómodas, pero las galletas estaban horribles y tenían sólo grandes palomas de espuma.
