After reading negative reports decided to book n make my own decision. What a fabulous welcome by all! Nothing too much. Boss even sent beautiful home made chicken soup to my room as I'm quite poorly at moment with stage 2 in my throat. Room so big lovely and clean and best bed have slept on In turkey! Been co.ing here years.Mattress as new n top quality. Don't believe all negative reports on anywhere til you try yourself. Plenty of professional moaners out there!!!

If you look at the picture on the love holiday sight I think it is false representation it is nothing like what it shows, rooms were disgusting mould round shower no microwave or toaster it can't be classed as selfcatering in all a 0 rating YUCK

Arrived at the Fidan not our choice all due to Love Holidays hotel providers going bust, but on arrival we were taking to our room which was an attic room it was fine no complaints air con in bedroom & kitchen area . The pool is very small but never busy so loungers were always available, the pool bar men were very nice.. We ate breakfast a few times and was nice, until we had dinner and I ordered Chicken with Garlic on 1st bite I noticed the chicken was raw, asked the waiter to take it away, he came back and asked if I wanted it well done seriously I said no, then came back asked if I wanted something else and I said yes please lasagne...after our meal we went to pay our bill and noticed that the chicken meal was still on our bill my husband took this up with INGRAD who sits there all day /night taking the bill payments, we challenge why the chicken meal was still on our bill Her Reply was the chicken was OK, she said she tried it then on us challenging her she said I never looked at it make your mind up INGRAD she was the most rude woman I've ever came across , told me if I put a bad review she would not remove the chicken meal from our bill I just laughed. The maids are lovely but room needs to be cleaned as in mop floors that was never done I had to ask, only bad thing I could say and never removed any rubbish bags from the room. On eve before leaving we asked if we could keep our room on and and the reception girl quoted us 40 without a smile dour face bugger same face every day , so we left it and approached the evening staff who quoted us £30 what a laugh but we were happy with that. . .can I just say we have been coming to marmaris fir 20yrs and have never had any problems.

Great little spot have stayed here twice and loved it Great little rooms all with newly fitted bathrooms with walk in shower . Fab pool area never too busy Food is good too Great staff big thank you to Sefkan who is always there with a smile and to help …lovely man on reception over nights too and all the cleaning ladies are great We will return Great location

Bed wasn't changed the whole week I stayed there. The lads who worked there and gave you top service were treat disgusting by management. The lads were gave a bottle of vodka and managers wife took it home, to have herself which I think is disgusting, that was a gift for the lads

Didn't stay in the actual hotel, so I can not review it, but I would definitely recommend it here as a place to eat. Excellent value and the chicken skewers were excellent, good prices and quality presentation.

After our nightmare at the sebnem we checked into here whole experience from the start was amazing staff are so helpful manager was great got us a lovely 3 bed apartment at a great price turned our nightmare holiday into an amazing one can’t thank this hotel enough so clean modern and honest

Well upon arrival we were met by two very pleasant young men who insisted on carrying our bags to our room. The lady on reception we polite if not a little over tired as she asked for our passports but we had already given them to her. We were advised that aircon for a 2 bed appointment was £75 for the week or (1,500Lira) As we arrived at 2:30 in the morning after having our flights changed (see my review for Turkish Airlines) we decided to wait in morning before making that decision as we just wanted our beds. Upon getting to our room we discovered that we did have 2 rooms but one room had a double bed & the other had 1 single bed not two as we had expected. We were a party of 3 ladies in our 40’s so did not want to share a bed! They had set up another 2 beds in the living/kitchen area but again this wasn’t ideal as we were self catering so would be using this area to cook & eat. Also as this room is on the3rd floor it was basically an attic room and so ceilings were slated and even I at 5ft had to duck to get to some parts of the room. The room was extremely hot even at 2:30 in the morning but after opening all windows & doors it did start to cool and we did manage to get a good sleep and the beds were actually really comfortable. Like I say there is an option of aircon if you wish & there were 2 units in the apartment, one in the living/dining area & one in the master double bedded room. The bathroom was adequate enough with a toilet, sink & shower. The shower albeit in need of being resealed & tiled again was actually quite powerful and the temperature was very nice. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom but it’s not very big or powerful so if you have long thick hair as I do, you may be best to bring your own. The location of the Fidan is fantastic and there is a 24hr shop right outside that sells everything, there didn’t seem to be any prices on anything and it did seem a little dearer than the supermarket 10mins walk away (MM Migros) but if you arrive late like we did this is a godsend. There are many shops & bars just a few minutes walk away and plenty of choice. The prices all seemed to be in GBP £ which annoyed us as we had taken Lira but they will give you the Lira prices if you ask. Things seem to be on par with UK prices if I’m honest so not as good as it was before the pandemic. However the shops selling bags and clothes were reasonably priced and the quality was pretty good. The pool area isn’t huge but for the time of year we went 10th - 17th September it wasn’t a problem. The sun loungers are extremely comfortable and the temperature of the pool was lovely’s the sun stays on there most of the day and it’s a little sun trap.

As I type this a bird is screaming on top of her lungs trying to do karaoke. I mean where do I start. From the cheesy “Turkish night” and I mean they wouldn’t know what a Turkish night is if it hit them on the face, where belly dancers and monkey dance are top of the bill 🤣🤣🤣 to very late nights where music still blaring until 1 o’clock in the morning and the only way to stop it is to ring the receptionist and threaten to call the police. You dread the weekend for that reason. The manager sits at the bar all day stuffing his face and doesn’t care how loud the music is or if you got children you’re trying to put to sleep. When people coming across from the hotel opposite complaining about the noise you know you’re not loosing your mind or being a killjoy. I really thought Marmaris left this kind of thing behind 15 years ago but if boom boom music and cheesy nights are your thing this actually is your perfect place. If you’re brave enough good luck in trying to have a holiday here and I truly wish you all the best with your lives. I would of give it no stars if I could!!!

Spotless apart , cleaned daily with fresh towels etc … comfy beds…staff are all so friendly , location is central…highly recommended, great for families .. thanks Fidan we will definitely visit again

Came to fidan hotel in June with my daughter. Room is basic how ever had an everything we needed. Pool area was lovely! Always a bed, outside bar lovely staff and always helpful. Fidan restaurant was also amazing nothing to much for these guys and so great with my little one when we were sat in there. Overall we had a great stay! See you guys again soon!

We were moved accommodation by travel republic 48 hours before we left. Looked okay upon reviewing however we left after one night, booked into somewhere else. Reception lady rude, it’s like you are checking in to her house. She didn’t smile at all and gave us a filthy room. Mould on walls and a wet bed upon arrival..asking for fresh dry sheets was like I’d asked her to move the world. The manager had a full on row with one guest who had far to much to drink at 7pm, like a slanging match in the hallway and threats to call the police, No wonder every door has holes in them. Didn’t feel safe so promptly left and checked into a safer environment.
