Visited here on a quiet Wednesday night. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was a bit out dated and overpriced. We went with pub classics, a chicken parmi and chicken schnitzel both with chips and salad on the side. The meals were brought out to us very quickly. The salad would of better off not being on the plate as it was just wet lettuce. Both meals were cooked well and side sauces were nice. They have a sports bar seperate from the main restaurant, which we went to after eating. The drinks were cheap and a surprisingly a good cocktail list. Ended the night with a cheeky slap on the pokies. Didn’t leave successfully but hope the lady who was winning big next to us is enjoying life.

At $ 800 per night, this has to be a special treat. And, I'm happy to report, it is. Spicers have got the concepts of luxury, relaxation and pampering down to a fine art. No detail is overlooked and it all happens in a non-pompous, casual manner. We stayed in Luxury Forest Villa #13, which is the furthest from reception and restaurant ; total peace and quiet, but still an easy stroll for a meal. It is a small house, with everything that you could possibly need, and of the best quality. The bed is divinely comfortable, the bath with amenities opulent. Late afternoon we were invited for some complimentary dumplings in the restaurant : 2 per person and you buy your own drinks. The grounds are well maintained, but have kept their-foresty look ; there is a 15 minute walk to ”the falls”, a small natural pool with waterfall (which was hardly running because of the lack of rain). You can choose to have your breakfast in the room or in the restaurant, and we decided for the latter. There is a complimentary continental (banana bread, small yoghurt and fruit) and you choose 1 main. Although delicious, I thought it was a fairly small offering and I could have done with a little more. Spicers is the perfect place to forget about problems and stress ; unwind and re-load the batteries. A very special treat.

¡Wow! He estado en los lugares de la pareja antes y siempre ha habido un factor de submarino .......Empezamos con todo lo que fue bueno! 1. Estacionamiento justo al lado del alojamiento. 2. Views forever down the valley and over the lake, especially from the veranda on two sides. 3. ¡Muchos de la madera de fuego de tamaño derecho, así como todas las necesidades para comenzar fácilmente un fuego! (No se rían, esto es GOLD!!!!) 4. Realmente tradicional balinesa con techos de roca. El lugar sentía enorme, bienvenido y acomodado. El suite es enorme con duchas gemelas. Muy romántico ..... 5. Gran producto local en el hambre del desayuno (Continental). 6. Bienvenido, hostes amigables que respondieron inmediatamente al pequeño problema que teníamos baterías flat en la remota AC. Nos quedamos muy bien. No habíamos estado aquí antes y no nos impresionó cuando Shane nos mostró nuestro dormitorio. No sé dónde comenzar. Pero el número uno era la cómoda cama sin matraca sagida. El baño y la ducha separados, el cono y la fama pretenden quemar la llama. Cubierta privada con hermosas vistas y verdes. Ponos de café Nespresso, té, chocolates en la cama, leche en la nevera. Agua de lluvia, tan bonita y suave, no hay problemas para que la jabón se lance. No hay mosquitos, así que nos disfrutamos de la frescura al aire libre, la paz y la tranquilidad de un lugar rural. Shane estaba muy atento y no había nada que fuera demasiado difícil para él para asistir.
