The check in service was tad slow, but the front desk was nice and tried to speak the language that we are familiar with (though we can’t really fully understood BM). The room is very spacious and the layout is great, but its quality was the worst of all, corroded metal spoons, dirty mugs, dirty/ stained bed sheets, musty smells from the carpet, bathroom exhaust not working, toilet door could not be fully closed and stuck on the door frame. Nonetheless, the location is slap in the middle of Malacca city centre that gave a plus point, just the link bridge was also not functioning at all, as the mall was like deserted area. Will not stay here anymore and prefer the surrounding that have so many hotel choices.

Exceptional stay. Fast check-in. The rooms are a little bit dated. Our family keep sneezing from the day we stay till check out. Can senses that the room is dusty with dirty aircon filter could be the caused. Plus point is their hotle location. Hatten hotel have AMAZING staff from the concierge team. Kuddos to Shahrul & his team who helped us out with punctured tyre. You have been a lifesaver. Will consider staying with Hatten Hotel Melaka for our next trip.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and proper. It is located near to Palawan and Makota malls. And walking distance to Jonker street. Good for friends and family vacation. Breakfast has many choices and replenish quickly.

Hatten hotel is at excellent location near to shopping, food, historical site. Hotel itself have 2 restaurants, 1 7-eleven convenient store and also few branded store. There are 2 big mall just stone throw distance. Room wifi excellent.
The only problem is there are drainage unpleasant smell at 1st floor. Luckily room doesn't have such unpleasant smells
Overall good place to stay.

Overall is not bad. There are some recommendations such as lift, as people will press both button and cause the car parking lift needs to wait too long. Hope can get a solution for this..
