Después de una mala experiencia con la reserva en otro alojamiento de la zona (Del que nos fuimos), reservamos de forma precipitada, a última hora, una noche en la Ridge Residence, la noche previa a nuestro vuelo para viajar de vuelta a casa, y fue todo un acierto. Desde el primer momento, nos recibieron con una amabilidad fuera de lo común y enseguida entendieron las circunstancias de nuestra situación, e incluso nos hicieron cancelar la reserva para hacerla con ellos directamente y poder ahorrar unos eurillos. ¡Todo perfecto! Además, aunque era tarde, nos dieron una rica cena con lo que tenían en ese momento en el hotel. La habitación era amplia, limpia y con unas vistas increíbles desde la terraza. Un hotel ideal para pasar la última estancia en la isla de Mahé o para disfrutar de unos días (Aunque la ubicación requiere de vehículo debido a las cuestas que hay en la zona). El desayuno estuvo bien, sin grandes pretensiones, pero rico. Tenemos que agradecer también que, como nuestro vuelo era muy tarde, nos ofrecieran servicio de custodia del equipaje para que pudiéramos visitar por última vez algunas atracciones de Mahé. Además, una vez realizada nuestra visita a Eden Island, a la vuelta al hotel, nos ofrecieron una habitación para que nos pudiéramos dar una ducha y para nuestro descanso. ¡SIN COSTO ALGUNO! Un detallazo por su parte. Desde aquí, mil gracias por el trato excelente recibido. Muy recomendable. Saludos a todos los viajeros.

Stayed over for a week with friends, friendly staff (the owner came over to chat as we had breakfast one morning, nice chap), fantastic views and located near the airport and other amenities. Gave my friends and I discounts on accommodation as well! Great food, try the desserts! What they shared with me (photos of the rooms etc) before booking is exactly what we got, a bit rare if you travel frequently so I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My Wife and I booked a short visit to Seychelles, and we wanted to stay in a smaller hotel than the big resorts, we choose the Ridge Residence – and we were pleasantly surprised. Ridge Residence is set back into the Mountains with fantastic views over Victoria to one side and Eden Island the other. Its also only a short 10-minute drive from the Airport. The Ridge is family run Hotel, by Jane and Franco, and they made us feel like we were one of the Family from the time of arrival to the day of our departure. Our room was one of three on the 2nd level, above the five that were at pool level. The Room was perfectly clean, modern and well maintained. We had read in the reviews that the food was nice so we decided to stay and eat in the Hotel - We must commend the Chef for the food we ate, very original Creole food (the Smoked fish Salad, and the Chicken Curry is a must to try), although all meals we ate were excellent. All the Staff were lovely, and very professional in their duties, especially Anna who was working behind the Bar serving us a few Seybrew. We would say that if we ever came back to Seychelles, we would most definitely choose to stay back at the Ridge due to the location being near Victoria and Eden Island, the hospitality and the authentic Creole Food. Well Done Jane and Franco on making our stay with you remarkable.

Me and a friend stayed in The Ridge Residences from March 15 to 17. Manuela was nice, she received us nicely, even told us the places we should go. Please note that the location of this hotel is on a hill. Our flight landed early and it took us 3 hours to get to our rooms as they say that the people occupying the room are still checking out and they are still cleaning it. We were so tired already. Breakfast is good and decent. We got the sea view room. They have one rude and unfriendly staff though, her name is Theophilla. She never smiled to us, as if she hated our entire existence. But I have observed how nice she was to guests who are “white”. Me and my friend is Asian and African. She even mumbled something bad when my friend left the dining table to use the toilet. That’s just so unnecessary and rude to be honest. As our plans changed, we extended for another night. We saw cockroach inside our room. Upon checkout, my friend have asked if we can have some bottle of water and she was told that we should pay for the extra night if we want water. Wow! There were new guests and they wanted us to leave fast so they can clean the room, and the new occupants did not even have to wait for 3 hours like us. I feel like it was somewhat an unfair treatment. Better off spending extra bucks and booking a hotel on Eden Island. Lesson learned. I don’t recommend this place to my friends at all.

We stayed one night at this little hotell with wonderful view over Victoria. It was perfect to relax after the long flight. Very comfortable bed and a small infinity pool just in front of the room. Fantastic breakfast. An extra point for the home made Jamalac marmelade (the tree is close to the parking place) and the Illy espresso! The grill buffet at dinner was very good too. We enjoyed this first conct with the Seychelloise hospitality!

Great location, very comfortable and clean rooms. Staff extremely helpful in any thing that we asked including making reservations for cars throughout our trip. Very fast and accurate communication. I highly recommend. Good breakfast included the the room price. The pool is beautiful too.

This isn't luxury accommodation but it was squeaky clean and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Top rate! Room was a good size with a large bathroom. Good wifi. Beautiful view, quiet and lovely. The location pretty much requires renting a car, which was reasonably priced and efficient. Plan to go out for lunch and dinner.

Comfortable option for an overnight stay before or after a flight. Good soundproofing in the rooms. There is a large terrace with a pool and tables. The hotel is on a hill, the view from the terrace is beautiful. You can walk to Victoria, but it's a 40 minute walk.
