We stay in Thalia Hotel each time we visit Hersonisses. The hotel is wonderful , the guests are treated as VIPs. The breakfasts are amazing, with excellent selection of choices to suit all tastes. Special mention for the best coffee! From owners who are on hand to provide friendly, professional service , reception staff who will help with everything and anything you may require, to housekeeping staff who are brilliant at their jobs, the hotel excels across each and every aspect of hospitality. Thalia, thank you so much again.

This has been 1 of the best experiences i had in my live in this very cute 3 start hotel. which is run by this most wonderful family. the service of the staff was amazing :) lovely breakfast , good room and beds and great location in the center. if i return to Hersonissos I will visit here again .

Wonderful 3 star hotel with a 6 star service . Warm beautiful people how own and run this hotel very nice and clean hotel. Amazing staff all family i will always come back to this hotel when in hersonissos the experiences i will never forget ❤️ If u are looking for warm and helpful hospitality experience this is the best place

Just back from 2weeks in Hersonissos, in Crete, stayed in Thalia hotel . From the minute we walked in this hotel we felt so welcomed and the lady owner and her family couldn’t make our stay more pleasant. Nice and clean rooms, really good beds, slept like a baby every night, equipped with all the basics you need…..the location of the hotel right in the heart of Hersonissos, within 2 minutes walk to different beaches to your choice,as well as all the buss stops just outside of the hotel. All Shops, restaurants, a walk beside the beach, all around the hotel. Lovely Greek breakfast ( most of the ingredients sourced from the locals) bread was actually warm every morning so tasty and enjoyable Greek music, just a perfect start for the day. It’s a family business hotel and everyone part of the team couldn’t be more helpful for tips, advice and recommendations we got for restaurants, places to go for Greek music and places to visit etc Thank you all🙌 for the hospitality and to All the team from Thalia hotel that made our stay such a lovely experience, will definitely be back Best regards C

Thalia deco City & Beach Hotel is a fantastic family run place in Hersonissos. Situated on the main street with local tavernas, supermarkets, travel agencies and car rents is ideal for active rest. The beach is just 2 minutes walk across the street. The rooms have views to the sea, mountain or inner yard with a swimming pool. The hotel deserves strong 10 points out of 10 in its category. The most important thing, though, is the staff. We would like to express our gratitude to the hotel owner Themis for his elegant tactfulness and his wife Gordana, the supersonic lady, who bakes bread at night to have it straight from the oven in the morning and treats hotel guests with other homemade products for breakfast. Anthonio, their son, shows his businesslike attitude to any questions or problems you may have, but if you want cultural or historical background for the trips you plan in Crete, young administrator Anthie is the right person to address. During your stay at the hotel you feel wonderful atmosphere, care and attention. The hotel has style and soul, because the owners are passionate about what they are doing. This hotel is a total gem! The location is spot-on, right near the beach and far enough from the noisy clubs. The rooms are super clean and comfy, especially those cozy beds - perfect for a good night's sleep! The staff are all awesome and friendly, giving us cool tips on local hotspots. Love the common space with a shower, so we could enjoy in some extra beach time even after checking out. Breakfast is absolutely delightful! They serve these homemade dips, bread, and the yummiest honey ever. Dinner at the nearby hotel is very good offering a variety of salads, meats, veggies, grills, fruits, and desserts. Plus, they've got free parking nearby, so it's a breeze to explore all the cool places nearby. Totally recommend this place for a chill and fun vacation!

Thalia was a most pleasant surprise! Hotel has been renovated and looks great for what is classed as a 3 star! While I expected a typical 3 star experience, I was greeted by a VERY spacious room, nicely sized bathroom, cozy balcony, swimming pool AND gym! A delicious breakfast was included but what surprised me the most was the rock bottom price I booked it at which for early June was by far the best value vs quality hotel experience I had in a long time. Last but not least, the entire staff and family who owned it extended me a warm welcome and were very kind to accommodate a last minute extended stay request I had for free. As a bit of feedback, I'd love to see breakfast hours extended a little. Other than that, thank you so much for the experience, hope to see you soon and I will be most certainly choosing Thalia for my future Hersonissos stays!

This is a very nice family operated hotel. Very clean and cosy. The breakfast was excellent, something for everyone. The rooms could use a little updating, but were fine. The service was very good. We felt we were really getting our money’s worth. The area where they store your luggage after check out, is excellent. With showers and toilets. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
