UUsuario invitadoWe have been checking to Acacia Hotel whenever we are in Davao but recently during our stay May 1-3,2026 the service is not good especially the front desk. We use to charge our food and drinks to the room even we prepaid the hotel via trip.com but unfortunately during our stay we were not allowed to do so even when we told the front desk that they can swipe my credit card for deposit purposes. So the business travelers together in this booking decided to find another hotel for the next trip. Another thing the room don’t have anymore fact towels as a standard and floor towel too. We used to sit down and have some meetings in the cafe area for coffee but unfortunately they won’t allow. They said the lobby is the area where we can have it. Sorry they all got pissed. Hoping they improved their customer service that would correspond to their hotel rates.

SSashidheiI arrived at the Hotel around 10 o'clock in the evening, the staff was nice and i was able to check in right away. it was a smooth checked in, from a long flight. and also i was surprised that they upgraded my room into a Deluxe room. The room is wide and clean, im also happy that they have hot and cold water. I highly recommend this hotel and probably i will comeback again. ❤ P.S Though its not soundproof , i heard some noise outside or in the other room.

JJanet.SEveryone is nice. But staff needs to know more about the area and places that we asked they have no clue. Linens and towels needs to be replaced when the color is almost brown instead of white. Its a very old hotel We had to call to replaced our pillows because its smells like old sweat. We were so excited that its beach front not until they told us the water is not recommended for swimming. We had to go to another island and pay. We were disappointed with that.Breakfast buffet is good.

YYkhca_TravelsWe arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

MMs. HayleyFrom the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. NNiceymaucieWe stayed at Crown Regency Residences for a week, and overall it was a great choice—especially for budget travelers with kids. One of the biggest highlights was the unlimited pool access until 10 PM every day, which our family really enjoyed. It made a huge difference in keeping the kids entertained without needing to go out and spend extra. The place offers hotel-like service, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. While the building itself does show its age and could use some updates, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re traveling as a family and looking for something affordable with good amenities, this is definitely a place worth considering. Despite its older appearance, I would still choose to stay here again for a budget-friendly family trip.

UUsuario invitadoRecientemente disfruté de una estupenda y cómoda estancia en RedDoorz Plus cerca de SM Lanang Davao mientras asistí a un evento relacionado con el trabajo, y no pude ser más feliz con mi elección! Reservando a través de TRIP.com hizo todo el proceso libre de problemas, y realmente sentí que cada penique gastado vale la pena. Al llegar, me impresionó la seguridad y la limpieza de la propiedad, también teníamos botellas de 500 ml de agua, y kit de huéspedes (barra de dientes, pasta de dientes, champú y jabón de barra). El hotel está muy bien, pero no me gusta el hotel. El duche caliente y frío fue un buen toque, lo que me hizo sentir refresco durante toda mi estancia. La ubicación ideal para el hotel es una buena ubicación, y es un paseo a SM Lanang, que facilita la atracción de comidas y tiendas. ¡Comenzar mi día con una comida cálida fue un verdadero bono! La única desventaja menor fue la ausencia de un ascensor, pero honestamente, era un precio pequeño pagar por una experiencia tan grande, especialmente teniendo en cuenta la adecuación presupuestaria de esta reserva. Si buscas un lugar seguro, limpio y bienvenido para permanecer en Davao, recomiendo a RedDoorz Plus. Es una excelente elección para los viajeros de negocios y de ocio. No dude en reservarsu estancia será deliciosa!
