Very nice place to stay in, located in the center of Muscat and 20 minutes by car from the airport. We stayed in an executive suite, which is more than 70m2, with terrace. It was great. You have also a swimming pool on the last floor where you can swim and enjoy the view of Muscat

Location is good and the hotel has a nice pool. However, service is mechanical and inattentive - particularly the concierge and reception who tried to be helpful and friendly but actually not genuinely addressing your issues with real solutions. Swimming pool is nice but it is messy with slow turnover of towels and cushions are missing. The wifi did not work well. Ba Ban restaurant is really bad for Chinese food…

Excelente ubicación: un gran supermercado y numerosos restaurantes en las inmediaciones, además de los centros comerciales Oman Avenues y Muscat Grand a tan solo media hora a pie. Atracciones de la ciudad como la Gran Mezquita del Sultán Qaboos, la Ópera o la playa de Qurum se encuentran muy cerca del hotel. El trayecto en taxi desde el hotel hasta el aeropuerto dura solo entre 15 y 20 minutos, y si prefiere tomar el autobús, la parada de la línea A1 está muy cerca, en la calle Sultán Qaboos. El personal del hotel es muy amable; disfruté especialmente del desayuno.

Normalmente no me gusta escribir reseñas de hoteles, y menos aún con comentarios negativos. Este hotel es pequeño, limpio, higiénico y el personal es amable. Pero tiene un problema muy grave: el ruido. A la 1 de la madrugada, el restaurante de la planta baja sigue con la música a todo volumen. Es como alojarse justo encima de una discoteca, y la supuesta ”discoteca” no solo carece de insonorización, sino que además es completamente al aire libre. No pude dormir bien durante tres noches, lo que afectó seriamente a mis viajes al día siguiente. El hotel es claramente consciente de este problema. Deberían preguntar a los huéspedes antes del check-in si pueden tolerar este ruido y ofrecer habitaciones más tranquilas a quienes no lo toleren. El problema es que el hotel es pequeño y está construido alrededor de los restaurantes, todos al aire libre, y uno de ellos es extremadamente ruidoso. Nunca había visto un hotel así; ni siquiera los hoteles normales lo permitirían. De verdad que no entiendo cómo un inspector de hoteles pudo aprobarlo. Otro problema: no hay un camino directo desde las habitaciones a la piscina. Los huéspedes que usan traje de baño o bata deben pasar por el vestíbulo, la recepción y la cafetería, lo cual es muy incómodo e inapropiado. Otro problema: si viajas en coche, tienes que desviarte varios kilómetros solo para llegar al hotel. Lo más frustrante sigue siendo el ruido del restaurante. Lo toleré durante tres noches porque: • La primera noche, pensé que podría ser una boda o un evento especial, así que usé tapones para los oídos. • La segunda noche, me di cuenta de que en realidad era la música del restaurante. Contacté con Ctrip; su equipo de atención al cliente fue excelente y respondió rápidamente. El hotel me ofreció cambiar de habitación, pero estaba demasiado cansado para empacar. • La tercera noche, tenía que visitar el acantilado temprano por la mañana, pero la falta de sueño retrasó mi partida. Al regresar, estaba agotado de nuevo. Después de tres noches durmiendo mal, estaba completamente exhausto. Al volver del desierto, solo quería un buen hotel para descansar, pero la experiencia resultó ser todo lo contrario. Para que quede claro, tanto el personal del hotel como el equipo de Ctrip fueron excelentes. La factura final al momento del check-out también era incorrecta, aunque creo que el personal de recepción no lo hizo intencionalmente. Como no había dormido bien, me desperté tarde y tuve que darme prisa para lavar el coche y devolverlo. Mientras esperaba en el lavadero de coches, revisé mi banca móvil y me di cuenta de que me habían cobrado de más. Dos cenas y dos cafés sumaron 245,8 OMR. Pero los cargos fueron: • Al registrarme: 390,57 £ • Al registrarme: 1045,52 £ • Total: 1436,09 £ En realidad, debería haber sido alrededor de 476,62 £ al cambio. La factura era muy sencilla y nada complicada.

From fresh local delicacies to international favorites, everything was prepared to perfection. The facilities at the hotel were everything one could ask for in a luxury stay: a world-class spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, stunning pools, and several dining options that offered an exquisite culinary journey. Overall, it was a flawless experience that exceeded all expectations. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already looking forward to my next visit. I would absolutely love to return and stay for a few more nights — one visit simply isn’t enough.

Удобное расположение рядом с аэропортом. Номера большие, очень чистые, все новое. Кровать удобная, постельное белье и полотенца свежайшие. Завтрак не брали, про него не знаем так как рядом Макдональдс :)

Este hotel está estratégicamente ubicado cerca del centro comercial Avenues Mall. Junto a este centro comercial (y la entrada más cercana al hotel) se encuentra el hipermercado Lulu, un supermercado increíble con marcas locales e internacionales y una panadería fantástica. Este centro comercial se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie del hotel. Sin embargo, debe caminar por la calle, ya que no hay aceras ni senderos, pero son solo 300 metros. De hecho, puede salir de la calle, pero es grava o sitio en construcción, por lo que sus zapatos se ensuciarán. Uber y Grab no existen en Omán. Sin embargo, el hotel tiene dos o tres taxistas que lo llevarán a cualquier lugar. Utilizan tarifas fijas, en lugar de taxímetro. Por ejemplo, el viaje del hotel al aeropuerto cuesta 8 riales omaníes (20 USD). Si bien este hotel es excelente para ir de compras, no es el mejor para visitar las principales atracciones de Mascate. Los principales lugares históricos del Palacio Alam, el Fuerte Ai Mirania y el Museo Nacional están a 21 km del hotel. Aproximadamente 10 riales omaníes por trayecto en taxi. Sin embargo, hay muy pocos hoteles en esta zona, por lo que la mayoría de la gente se aloja en hoteles cerca de centros comerciales en Omán. Se trata de una forma de transporte público en Mascate, pero puede resultar difícil para los turistas utilizarlo sin cambiar de autobús o dar largas caminatas. Por ejemplo, la Royal Opera House está a 10 km del hotel. Si se utiliza el transporte público, se necesita una caminata de 2,5 km. Las habitaciones del hotel son bastante amplias y cuentan con cómodos sillones estilo lounge. El hotel está situado cerca de una autopista, pero la buena insonorización significa que esto no es un problema. Yo estaba en el nivel 3 y podía ver el océano a lo lejos (derecha) y el centro comercial (a la izquierda). Tienen habitaciones con vistas al océano (más caras en la parte superior del edificio). El televisor es muy decepcionante: pequeño y viejo con canales borrosos. Afortunadamente, Internet es genial, por lo que se ven la mayoría de los programas en la computadora. La azotea tiene una gran piscina y un bar, pero quizás un poco demasiado frío para nadar, con temperaturas máximas de unos 22-23 °C en invierno. El personal de recepción es muy servicial. Definitivamente recomiendo este hotel para ir de compras y es una buena base para conocer Mascate. Sin embargo, como ya he mencionado, está muy lejos de las principales atracciones turísticas de la ciudad y es necesario tomar un taxi.

The Chedi brand never fails to disappoint. And the Muscat experience does it so much justice. And more. The usual “black pool” (2 of them actually), a gym like really really no other. Booked this for our 1st time visit to Oman and we stayed here for 12 days. If you are only staying 2-3 days this hotel may be ok - but for longer stays I would not recommend. Positives: Great location if you like genuine Asian food - excellent cheap and mid-price restaurants within a few minutes walking distance - Indian Vegetarian and non-veg restaurants too. Mosque within walking distance Friendly helpful cleaning staff - most of them try their best to make your stay comfortable. Very big room sizes Good Wifi Comfortable beds. Free water bottles on request Fairly easy to get OTaxi within 2-3 minutes each time. Negatives: Mould in the bathroom, water leaks out of the shower onto the main bathroom floor - making a slip hazard No caddy in the shower to hold your soap or shampoo etc, so you have to keep bending down to the floor to get or put your shampoo bottle. Shower pressure was very very low - so no refreshing shower after a long day out. It was enough to wash your body but takes several minutes (water was hot OK). Some of the sockets in the room do not work - so you have to keep unplugging things to use something else. When we asked for an iron, the gave us a barely functional one with steam controls missing and no heat level markings so you are scared to use it in case you get a shock and/or burn your clothes. The 1st ironing board we were given belonged in the bin - I am not exaggerating - the cover to the board was ripped in multiple places, and bits of metal were sticking out - guaranteed to rip your clothes when ironing. The 2nd ironing board was new but the cover did not stay in place - so you spent twice as long constantly re-adjusting the cover than ironing your clothes. The hairdryer had a difference plug than the sockets in the room - luckily I had my own converter. The access card for our room door kept resetting every single day for the 1st 6 days. Every evening we come back, go up to our room and the card does not work - so we have to go back down again to get the card programmed. One on evening, I had to go up and down the lift 4 times - yes 4 times - because the lady on reception seemed to hear the number 3 when I say 2 - I don't know how to confuse room xx2 for xx3 - English is my 1st language and I speak at conferences, and with English speaking colleagues and clients around the word every working day. Even though, the first two times I went down the card actually had a sticker with the room number on it - but she still managed to program the wrong room number twice. On the 3 visit, she gave me a new card - but still programmed the wrong room number. On the 4th visit she finally said 'ah you mean xx2 not xx3' - and then she laughed and shared a private joke with her colleague. I got the feeling she was bored of the job and liked to play games with the hotel guests to cheer herself up. Eventually after 6 days of this, I complained to a male member of staff on the desk and he programmed the card once and it worked fine for the remaining days. The small fridge freezer remained on 24x7 - even on the lowest setting - so you heard the constant buzzing sound all day and night. It even froze and ruined some of our fruit which was in the fridge section and not in the freezer section. The batteries in the safety deposit box had corroded and you could not operate or program it. They gave us some keys for the safe, but they did not work properly - so we were scared to lock anything in the safe - in case you could not unlock it again - funny hah! The shampoo and shower gel bottles were called something like Eco wash - but they were almost always only half full - so you had to use a single bottle of each every time you showered - so we probably used at least 45-50 bottles between us during our stay - what a waste of plastic.
