Perfecto. Encontrar desventajas = llegar al fondo de las cosas. Me gustó todo. Absolutamente. Desde estacionamiento hasta una hermosa piscina en la azotea con una hermosa vista.

Very nice place to stay in, located in the center of Muscat and 20 minutes by car from the airport. We stayed in an executive suite, which is more than 70m2, with terrace. It was great. You have also a swimming pool on the last floor where you can swim and enjoy the view of Muscat

Estadia otima! Recepcionistas atenciosos e profesionais. Quarto muito limpo e silencioso. Localização segundo o procurado. A 3xperiencia foi tao boa que continue o paseio no Intercity de Nizwa. Excelente tbm!

Overall, I had a good stay at the hotel. The property is beautiful, the room was comfortable, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were two issues that significantly affected my experience. First, the hotel charged a very large security deposit of approximately AED 1,600 for a two-night stay. This amount was charged to my card without a clear explanation during check-in, and I was not informed in advance about the size of the deposit. As of writing this review, I have still not received the amount back. Better communication and transparency regarding security deposits would be greatly appreciated. Second, the housekeeping service was disappointing, especially on my checkout day. I requested ice cubes three separate times and only received them after approximately 1.5 hours. In general, whenever I requested something, it took a long time to arrive, and I had to repeatedly follow up with the staff. That said, I would like to sincerely thank Carolyn Muimi for her professionalism and support during my checkout process. She took the time to assist me, address my concerns, and promptly send an email to the finance department regarding the refund of the security deposit. Her assistance was greatly appreciated and left a positive impression. While I enjoyed the hotel overall and appreciated the facilities and atmosphere, I believe improvements are needed in guest communication regarding deposits and in the responsiveness of the housekeeping team.

Excelente ubicación: un gran supermercado y numerosos restaurantes en las inmediaciones, además de los centros comerciales Oman Avenues y Muscat Grand a tan solo media hora a pie. Atracciones de la ciudad como la Gran Mezquita del Sultán Qaboos, la Ópera o la playa de Qurum se encuentran muy cerca del hotel. El trayecto en taxi desde el hotel hasta el aeropuerto dura solo entre 15 y 20 minutos, y si prefiere tomar el autobús, la parada de la línea A1 está muy cerca, en la calle Sultán Qaboos. El personal del hotel es muy amable; disfruté especialmente del desayuno.

From the moment I arrived at the Mandarin Oriental, Muscat, I knew I was in for something special. The level of service was absolutely exceptional — warm, attentive, and always professional. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless and memorable. The hotel itself is spotless, with immaculate attention to detail in every corner. My room was beautifully designed, blending elegance with comfort, and the views were nothing short of breathtaking — overlooking the serene mountains and the city’s picturesque skyline. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a rich variety of delicious options that catered to every palate. From fresh local delicacies to international favorites, everything was prepared to perfection. The facilities at the hotel were everything one could ask for in a luxury stay: a world-class spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, stunning pools, and several dining options that offered an exquisite culinary journey. Overall, it was a flawless experience that exceeded all expectations. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already looking forward to my next visit. I would absolutely love to return and stay for a few more nights — one visit simply isn’t enough.

Удобное расположение рядом с аэропортом. Номера большие, очень чистые, все новое. Кровать удобная, постельное белье и полотенца свежайшие. Завтрак не брали, про него не знаем так как рядом Макдональдс :)

The Chedi brand never fails to disappoint. And the Muscat experience does it so much justice. And more. The usual “black pool” (2 of them actually), a gym like really really no other. And… the service. All the way up there. There should be more Chedi in the world! Special to Marebel and Anton who made our breakfast just perfect

Este hotel está estratégicamente ubicado cerca del centro comercial Avenues Mall. Junto a este centro comercial (y la entrada más cercana al hotel) se encuentra el hipermercado Lulu, un supermercado increíble con marcas locales e internacionales y una panadería fantástica. Este centro comercial se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie del hotel. Sin embargo, debe caminar por la calle, ya que no hay aceras ni senderos, pero son solo 300 metros. De hecho, puede salir de la calle, pero es grava o sitio en construcción, por lo que sus zapatos se ensuciarán. Uber y Grab no existen en Omán. Sin embargo, el hotel tiene dos o tres taxistas que lo llevarán a cualquier lugar. Utilizan tarifas fijas, en lugar de taxímetro. Sin embargo, hay muy pocos hoteles en esta zona, por lo que la mayoría de la gente se aloja en hoteles cerca de centros comerciales en Omán. Se trata de una forma de transporte público en Mascate, pero puede resultar difícil para los turistas utilizarlo sin cambiar de autobús o dar largas caminatas. Por ejemplo, la Royal Opera House está a 10 km del hotel. Si se utiliza el transporte público, se necesita una caminata de 2,5 km. Las habitaciones del hotel son bastante amplias y cuentan con cómodos sillones estilo lounge. El hotel está situado cerca de una autopista, pero la buena insonorización significa que esto no es un problema. Yo estaba en el nivel 3 y podía ver el océano a lo lejos (derecha) y el centro comercial (a la izquierda). Tienen habitaciones con vistas al océano (más caras en la parte superior del edificio). El televisor es muy decepcionante: pequeño y viejo con canales borrosos. Afortunadamente, Internet es genial, por lo que se ven la mayoría de los programas en la computadora. La azotea tiene una gran piscina y un bar, pero quizás un poco demasiado frío para nadar, con temperaturas máximas de unos 22-23 °C en invierno. El personal de recepción es muy servicial. Definitivamente recomiendo este hotel para ir de compras y es una buena base para conocer Mascate. Sin embargo, como ya he mencionado, está muy lejos de las principales atracciones turísticas de la ciudad y es necesario tomar un taxi.

Booked this for our 1st time visit to Oman and we stayed here for 12 days. If you are only staying 2-3 days this hotel may be ok - but for longer stays I would not recommend. Positives: Great location if you like genuine Asian food - excellent cheap and mid-price restaurants within a few minutes walking distance - Indian Vegetarian and non-veg restaurants too. Mosque within walking distance Friendly helpful cleaning staff - most of them try their best to make your stay comfortable. Very big room sizes Good Wifi Comfortable beds. Free water bottles on request Fairly easy to get OTaxi within 2-3 minutes each time. Negatives: Mould in the bathroom, water leaks out of the shower onto the main bathroom floor - making a slip hazard No caddy in the shower to hold your soap or shampoo etc, so you have to keep bending down to the floor to get or put your shampoo bottle. Shower pressure was very very low - so no refreshing shower after a long day out. It was enough to wash your body but takes several minutes (water was hot OK). Some of the sockets in the room do not work - so you have to keep unplugging things to use something else. When we asked for an iron, the gave us a barely functional one with steam controls missing and no heat level markings so you are scared to use it in case you get a shock and/or burn your clothes. The 1st ironing board we were given belonged in the bin - I am not exaggerating - the cover to the board was ripped in multiple places, and bits of metal were sticking out - guaranteed to rip your clothes when ironing. The 2nd ironing board was new but the cover did not stay in place - so you spent twice as long constantly re-adjusting the cover than ironing your clothes. The hairdryer had a difference plug than the sockets in the room - luckily I had my own converter. The access card for our room door kept resetting every single day for the 1st 6 days. Every evening we come back, go up to our room and the card does not work - so we have to go back down again to get the card programmed. One on evening, I had to go up and down the lift 4 times - yes 4 times - because the lady on reception seemed to hear the number 3 when I say 2 - I don't know how to confuse room xx2 for xx3 - English is my 1st language and I speak at conferences, and with English speaking colleagues and clients around the word every working day. Even though, the first two times I went down the card actually had a sticker with the room number on it - but she still managed to program the wrong room number twice. On the 3 visit, she gave me a new card - but still programmed the wrong room number. On the 4th visit she finally said 'ah you mean xx2 not xx3' - and then she laughed and shared a private joke with her colleague. I got the feeling she was bored of the job and liked to play games with the hotel guests to cheer herself up. Eventually after 6 days of this, I complained to a male member of staff on the desk and he programmed the card once and it worked fine for the remaining days. The small fridge freezer remained on 24x7 - even on the lowest setting - so you heard the constant buzzing sound all day and night. It even froze and ruined some of our fruit which was in the fridge section and not in the freezer section. The batteries in the safety deposit box had corroded and you could not operate or program it. They gave us some keys for the safe, but they did not work properly - so we were scared to lock anything in the safe - in case you could not unlock it again - funny hah! The shampoo and shower gel bottles were called something like Eco wash - but they were almost always only half full - so you had to use a single bottle of each every time you showered - so we probably used at least 45-50 bottles between us during our stay - what a waste of plastic.
