Celebración de cumpleaños: ¡Un viaje a Sokcho preparado por mi esposo! 🎂😍 ❤ Durante un viaje de dos noches y tres días a Sokcho con mi esposo, 🏨 nos hospedamos en Around Sokcho, y fue un alojamiento realmente satisfactorio 😊 Para empezar, me sorprendió lo cómodo que era para el precio. 😃 El precio era razonable, alrededor de 90 000 wones por dos noches, pero las instalaciones y la limpieza superaron mis expectativas. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Nos alojamos en una habitación con dos camas individuales en el séptimo piso. ¡Guau! La habitación estaba muy bien equipada con el purificador de agua más moderno, hervidor eléctrico y vajilla, así que pudimos usarlos cómodamente. 🚰🚮🚻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 El baño también estaba muy limpio y cómodo, y los productos de higiene personal tenían un aroma agradable, así que me sentí bien todo el tiempo que los usé. 🫠 🏨 La ropa de cama también estaba limpia y en buen estado, lo que hizo que durmiéramos de maravilla. Aunque nos asignaron una habitación con vista a la ciudad, también podíamos ver el océano a lo lejos, lo que lo hizo aún más gratificante. Con una pequeña pero bonita terraza e incluso una mesa de té en la habitación iluminada con una luz encantadora, el lugar estaba en tan buenas condiciones que mi esposo y yo no parábamos de decir durante nuestra estancia que debíamos volver. Otra gran ventaja fue que había tiendas cerca, como supermercados, Daiso y Olive Young, así que pudimos comprar todo lo que necesitábamos al instante. El aparcamiento era amplio, así que no tuvimos que preocuparnos por dónde estacionar, y como estaba a solo 10-15 minutos a pie del mar en Sokcho, era perfecto para un paseo tranquilo. Disfrutamos de las vistas nocturnas y subimos a la noria, así que lo pasamos de maravilla.

El Best Western Sokcho estaba en una ubicación ideal para las excursiones de Seoraksan y también cerca del centro de la ciudad, donde se encontraba el Mercado Central. La terminal de autobuses exprés (no la terminal de autobuses interurbanos, consulte con el conductor) está a solo 5 minutos de Seúl; la parada de autobús 7 o 7-1 está a 3 minutos. eMart estaba a 5 minutos y Daiso a 10 minutos a pie del hotel. Una oferta increíble de Trip.com si se reserva con antelación. Viajábamos en un grupo de 4 personas y reservamos dos habitaciones dobles de lujo con vistas al mar. Las camas eran camas dobles, y dormimos muy cómodamente durante las 3 noches. Hay servicio de lavandería de autoservicio en el sótano. La vista al mar estaba parcialmente bloqueada, pero era suficiente para ver el amanecer desde la playa, que está a solo 10 minutos a pie. Hay muchos buenos restaurantes alrededor del hotel, así como cerca de la playa, el lago y el Mercado Central. Sin embargo, hubo un incidente que hizo la estancia desagradable: compramos el famoso pollo Manseok en el Mercado Central para una noche de cerveza y pollo después de escalar la cima de Seoraksan Daecheongbong durante 12 horas. Debo decir que el servicio en el Best Western Sokcho no fue muy bueno, ya que es más como un apartamento con servicio, pero la calidad de la habitación, la ubicación y el precio fueron fantásticos. Recomiendo a cualquiera que le guste hacer senderismo en Seoraksan y explorar los alrededores de Sokcho que se aloje aquí, pero no espere el mismo servicio de un hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay at Kensington hotel. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Nearby restaurants closed early, so I had to have hotel dinner (not bad). Hotel is situated near Seoraksan entrance (walking distance). Absolutely stunning view of the mountain! Hotel's concept is intriguing!!

This was a very pleasant place to stay before and after a hike in Seoraksan National Park. Lovely view from the balcony. Very clean and comfortable, and helpful staff! Very convenient location. The local bus to the national park is right across the street from the hotel, and the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the express bus terminal. I was pleasantly surprised by a washing machine in the room, which was great to clean my muddy clothes after my hike (you'll need your own laundry detergent). The room had a kitchenette with sink, hot plate, and full-size refrigerator and freezer. The only problem is there was no pot or pan to use on the hot plate, so I could not actually use it to warm my food (unless I would travel with my own pot)! It would be nice if the room provided a hair dryer and if the hotel had some breakfast option. The cafe downstairs offers only drinks, not food, and doesn't open until 11 a.m. The entryway light is motion activated, and there are many electronic buttons and panels around the room that emit light, so if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, you will have to cover your eyes with a sleep mask. Also note that it you close the sliding door between the bed and living area while the air conditioning is on, it will prevent the cold air from reaching the part of the room where the thermostat is located, so the air conditioner will remain on indefinitely, and the sleeping area will get very cold. The various panels for lights and temperature were a bit difficult to understand. English labels would be helpful. But the receptionist was helpful and came up to my room to show me how to use the air conditioning. The USB port on the nightstand worked some of the time and sometimes it didn't. I couldn't figure out if there was a switch or setting somewhere in the room to make it work, or if it was just malfunctioning.

Hotel with good amenities and at a nice location. We did have an issue in our room in building B, which had too much noise (from the heating system maybe?), and the staff changed our room without hesitation to another one that was great in building D. Very friendly staff.

La ubicación es buena en la carretera de Sokcho. Sólo 5-10 minutos a pie del terminal de autobuses Express. Hay tienda 7-eleven cerca. El escritorio delantero está en GF en el edificio B. No hay señal de eng. La habitación es muy pequeña para tres personas, pero no es mucho espacio para grandes maletas 2-3. La habitación era limpia y bien equipada. Wifi, Netflix y Youtube también estaban muy conectados

We stayed 2 nights, and the owners were really kind and friendly and invited us to sing and play Korean songs along with them and other families in the stage they have in the basement. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my whole trip in South Korea. The room and water were warm and well suited for the winter. They upgraded our room for free and there was so much space with sink, fridge, sofa and table included. The breakfast every morning is delicious and filling, preparing you well for a day of walking in the mountains. 설악산 was beautiful coated in the white snow. The location of the hotel is great too, as there is a frequent bus that takes you to the park in no time, as well as to the city when you first come or when you leave the last day. I hope I can come back again to visit the park during different seasons, and I will definitely would like to stay in this hotel again. Thank you for everything. Gracias, 감사합니다 😄

I took an Uber from the bus terminal and was dropped off at Building C because I just typed the hotel name — it happened to be the first building we passed, and I didn’t know that it wasn’t the main one. Building C has no reception, so I went up to Level 4 (if I remember correctly) for the kiosk check-in. It was a bit laggy, but I managed to complete the process and was assigned a room in Building A. I’m not sure if all rooms with the Ondol (heated-floor) type are in that building. I had to walk to Building A with my two suitcases, which took around 5-7 minutes — not too bad, but it felt a bit of a hassle after a long trip. The location, however, was really good. If you love catching the sunrise, you can simply wake up early and walk for about 2 minutes to the beach. I also booked an Uber ride to Seoraksan National Park for a 5 a.m. hike, which cost ₩17,500. The room was quite spacious, especially for a solo traveler. The only downside was that there’s no bidet or smart toilet. You might also want to bring your own large towel, as they only provide small ones, and no toothbrush kits — although there’s a vending machine on the first floor for toiletries and slippers if you need extras. The heating floor worked perfectly, and the room was very clean. It’s well-equipped with cooking and dining utensils, a built-in electric stove, a washing machine, and a large fridge — ideal for longer stays. There are also plenty of convenience stores, coffee shops, and restaurants on the first floor, and several attractions are within walking distance. Overall, it’s a great place to stay — comfortable, clean, and convenient for both short and long visits in Sokcho.
