Sanpeiso was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The ryokan beautifully preserves the atmosphere of traditional Japan while offering excellent comfort and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of every detail throughout our stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and overlooked a peaceful garden, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The onsen was exceptional — the hot spring water felt wonderful after a day of sightseeing, and the entire bathing area was quiet and beautifully maintained. Both dinner and breakfast were served in traditional Japanese style and were outstanding. Every dish was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and showcased seasonal ingredients. It felt like a true cultural experience rather than simply a meal. What impressed us most was the authentic character of the ryokan. Unlike many modernized properties, Sanpeiso retains the charm and elegance of a classic Japanese inn. The combination of attentive service, excellent cuisine, serene surroundings, and high-quality hot springs made our stay unforgettable. If you are looking for an authentic ryokan experience in Atami, I highly recommend Sanpeiso. We would gladly return on our next visit to Japan.

Además, todas las instalaciones del hotel son excelentes. Es raro encontrar un onsen dentro de una habitación de hotel con vistas panorámicas al mar, lo cual es increíblemente relajante. ¡El desayuno y la experiencia en el club lounge también fueron geniales!

El personal del hotel es muy amable y servicial. Nos organizaron un servicio de transporte en autobús antes y después del espectáculo de fuegos artificiales de Atami. ¡Excelente servicio!

La habitación estaba muy bien diseñada, con un rincón con sofá y una terraza. También había un rincón de bebidas gratis y una terraza en la azotea. Sin embargo, solo había un onsen interior y este es un hotel de autoservicio sin personal en el lugar para hacer reservas.

La ubicación del hotel es impecable y muy convenientemente ubicado... ¡a solo 5 minutos a pie de la estación de tren! Algunos buenos restaurantes y lugares para comer están ubicados lo suficientemente cerca y si desea aventurarse a buscar más opciones, estos lugares no están muy lejos ... a unos 15 minutos / 20 minutos a pie de la zona costera.

It was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities. The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami! I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future.

La televisión sólo ofrece canales japoneses, por lo que añadir una televisión inteligente con opciones de streaming sería una buena actualización para los huéspedes internacionales. También nos decepcionó la política de no permitir a los huéspedes con tatuajes utilizar las piscinas municipales, que pueden ser limitativas para algunos viajeros. En general, una estancia muy agradable con grandes instalaciones, comida y una experiencia memorable de lanzamiento.

Muy popular resort onsen con familias locales. Pero debido al gran número de personas en el resort, los tiempos de bufete más tarde no funcionan tan bien como la comida se desvanecería. La comida está bien, pero parece que el a muy selecto gestor local para ordenar muchos huesos de crab gigante de alguna manera que nos hizo super envidioso. El resort es muy polvo y desencadenó mi alergia, no volverá.

Good: 1. It’s close to station 2. The view from the rooftop is insanely beautiful (I’m sure you can get such a view from other hotels too though) 3. There’s a “living room” area for you to hang out with others but it seems to always be occupied by a group of people Bad: 1. There is NO light from station to the stay, so if you’re walking at night it’s REALLY scary and eerie 2. They charge for everything lmao

Hermoso hotel spa junto al mar, con magníficas vistas, pero a 15 minutos a pie de la estación de tren principal puede ser un problema cuando el clima no es bueno.
