Everything about this property is amazing
Food is good
Service is top notch
Location is excellent
The only thing which I don't understand is at the time of checking in the room they don't tell exactly how many bath towels or face towels are placed in room before or any such amenities but after checking out they will just check the room and tell you very politely that 1 or 2 face towels are missing and you have to pay for it.
My only question to the owner or management team is that how can you or your staff can accuse the guests without even letting us know how many were there before.
We also trust your hotel staff with our luggage while checking in but we don't accuse you for such things.
If the management has made this rule to check the room at the time of checking out then please make sure that guests knows exactly what all amenities are provided by you and the quantity also at the time of checking in.
And if the management has not made any such rule then please take care of these small things as these kind of bad experiences ruins all the good ones.
Hopefully nobody else has to go through this in future.
And yes everyone should do visit this amazing property at least once of they are seeking for relaxing holiday

MMimiRGExceptionally comfortable stay at the Fateh Garh resort . The location is 35 mins from the airport. Smooth checkin and the amenities were explained very well by Mriganka who has the calmest demeanour. The rooms are large and spacious and very aesthetically pleasing. Loved the brand of toiletries provided. The staff was always polite and attentive. Any request we had was handled so graciously by Veena. Nothing was an issues and they accommodated all our requests. We did the day tour with Piyush who made our entire day very pleasant. The spa service by Rose was divine after a long day of travel. We had most of our meals at the property and the indian cuisine was delicious. The breakfast spread had adequate options. The pool was impeccably maintained. We even tried the cocktails at the bar and they were well made too. Our experience was enhanced by the smiling faces of the staff throughout our stay. The property was clean, luxurious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you team Fatehgarh.

UUsuario invitadoWe chose Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur specifically to celebrate our anniversary, but the experience turned out to be disappointing.
Before arrival, we had written via email requesting a complimentary upgrade (only if possible) and shared that it was our anniversary. The hotel assured us that they would do their best, mentioning that they would decorate the room and arrange a cake. However, upon arrival, there was nothing prepared. Later in the evening, a staff member came and asked when we would be going out so that they could decorate the room. We adjusted our plans and gave them time, hoping it would make the occasion special for my wife and child. Unfortunately, even after that, no proper arrangement was done and there was no cake as promised in the email.
The location is quite far from the main city, making it less convenient. The property also did not feel very photogenic as expected.
Food quality was average with limited variety. During breakfast, the restaurant staff was largely inattentive — no one checked on us or asked if our child needed anything. The only exception was Mr. Gulshan and one female staff member who were helpful during dinner.
Before this, we stayed for three days at Trident Udaipur, where the service and food quality were excellent, which made this experience feel even more disappointing in comparison.
Overall, we chose Taj to make our anniversary special, but it did not meet expectations associated with the Taj brand.

SSohrab_KhThe location: Perfect, just 2 minutes walk to the City Palace. Only notice that cars can not reach to the hotel's door because it's located inside steep alley.
The staff: very welcoming ,specially Nitesh, and trying to help us to enjoy our trip in Udaipur with their recommendations without any push to upsell hotel's services. Brilliant work by all of them, from the bellboy and doorman to the reception and the restaurant staff.
The room: very clean, great shower, amazing view to the lake. Well minimalist decorations and also writing your name on a chalkboard beside your room which is beautiful.
Foods: the lunch was so delicious, we ate Biryani. The complimentary tea on the rooftop for the sunset was an amazing idea by the hotel's managers. We didn't like the breakfast so much, it was so simple and completely different from the pictures on Google Maps but the staff's amazing attitude and behavior makes this issue go unnoticed.
One thing to notice is there is no elevator so you need to go up the stairs for 3-4 level, as there are 3 levels for the rooms and the restaurant is on the 4th level. But if you are young like us, then that wouldn't be any problem and staying at this beautiful hotel worth to climb stairs.

UUsuario invitadoBeautiful hotel. However we asked the guy in dinning to check if our room have dinner. He said yes and asked us to come 7:30pm for dinner. While we were eating other staff asked the guy what is their room number. We overhead that the guy (can’t remember his name) said let them eat since they have already started. He ignored us because he knew that he gave us wrong information. We appreciated for nice dinner and left but one of staff ran (Meena)to us at pool area and asked as to sign the invoice. We asked why when the guy said we can eat after checking our room number. She said it’s for our record. However when I checked out staff member Ohi asked us to pay 3098 Inr. We were getting late as our transport was waiting. We didn’t fuss about it and paid it because we are not clear on our checkout.
I just want the hotel to refund this cost because it’s not our mistake.

CChandra LatikaA beautiful, stylish, boutique hotel with a lake view.
It is not directly on the lake shore, but is separated by a road and a piece of someone's property under construction that spoils the view, especially when the wind blows stronger and lifts the black tarpaulin.
The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated, in beautiful pastel, calming colors and has that Rajasthani, traditional vibe.
My room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean, with complimentary shower accessories and dental kits and also has a window, so you can enjoy the view while taking a shower. There is generally no noise from the road and you can sleep peacefully, as long as your neighbors in the rooms next to and above your room are mindful of the house rules.
I would especially like to express my gratitude to Mayan who allowed me to check in very early, as soon as I arrived around 8am, without insisting that I wait for the usual check-in time, and who provided me with as many bottles of water as I requested, free of charge.
The view from the restaurant's roof terrace is beautiful at dusk and at night.
If the walls were painted seasonally and the rooms freshened up, it would contribute even more to the overall experience, but even this way you get excellent value for money.

SSandraWhen we first arrived our booked room was unavailable so they put us in a deluxe room with a living area and balcony.... But the festival was so loud. It was good for photos but not for sleeping. Unfortunately the room had a strong smoking smell so the next day we switched to the room booked the double room for family. Honestly we liked 408 much better than fancy room.... It was one flight from the restaurant. We didn't like the set breakfast that comes with room but the restaurant upstairs has a super good american breakfast with imported USA bacon. Best breakfast we've had in india in 3 weeks. Worth the extra money. Also get 15 percent off if staying at the hotel. The service was fantastic
The only negative is cannot take taxi directly to hotel but you can take a tuk tuk or call hotel they will send boys to carry luggage up for you. Other than that location is perfect.

Defectos: el servicio sigue siendo muy bueno en la superficie, muy bonito, no puede ejecutarse en el suelo, hay sangre en la cama sin lavar y hay un pequeño fuerte en la boca. Una vez que entró la primera habitación, descubrió que las luces estaban malas, siempre ha sido brillante, hay problemas con el interruptor, no hay buenas condiciones para la gente, se comunica tres veces, se cambia de habitación. Muy entusiasta por ayudar a coger el equipaje, lo que resultó en el sabor obvio de la segunda habitación, abrió la ventana y el aire se disipó durante mucho tiempo.
Cada vez que se pone en marcha, no hay nada que necesitar para llamar, pero se lo enviará pronto.
El hotel es una marca rosa llamada Java, sugeriendo no beber, quemada, es un vaso de agua dulce, y no hay problema con comprar fuera.
El último día de salida, es 11:00, el teléfono del hotel es 10:30, hasta las 11:30, la actitud es más dura.

UUsuario invitadoA mixed review. Staff were very helpful in arranging flowers for my wife and the location is perfect, right on the lake with a lovely view of the ghat and sunrise. But this also means that things can get noisy at night, especially during a festival.
The room was tired and smelt. Shower wasn't very clean. Breakfast was okay but staff tried to insist on guests eating breakfast inside which was very strange given that there was an outside dining area with a beautiful (world class) view of sunrise.
The hotel restaurant was overpriced, chaotic and very loud. Priority on tables was given to groups who didn't order food or drinks, took insta pictures and then left. At the same time, several families were turned away. Tried to order a diet coke, was told that we couldn't have one despite them being in the fridge. Kingfisher was 600 a bottle which is a 240% mark up from the wine shops.
Overall, great location let down by some tired rooms and poor service.
