UUsuario invitadoLong established Hotel in the Galway Salthill seaside resort, great for a winter break looking out at the howling Atlantic, plenty of good walks, and Galway city centre a decent walk or bus away, though you'll walk it faster than the bus when the afternoon traffic ramps up. Hotel food very good, the Pier 56 restaurant food was quality. There's also a higher end menu in the main restaurant, and even tasty bar bites in old pub styled bar. Rooms are large, plain and functional, with robust heavy duty old school hotel furniture, plain painted walls. A lot of the public areas are upgraded from previous decades, the main restaurant, bar and the bistro stylishly upgraded. Room bathrooms all up to the minute. Good value for a low season stay in November. Can't fault it.

UUsuario invitadoEl servicio que recibimos en recepción fue excelente. Jonathan fue muy servicial y nos aconsejó sobre dónde ir, comer, lugares para visitar, etc. en Galway. Nos cambiaron a una habitación más grande en la segunda planta, que era enorme. ¡La caja de bombones de bienvenida fue un detalle muy amable! Ava nos hizo el servicio de limpieza y limpieza de la habitación, impecables. El baño era grande y la presión de la ducha era increíble. El desayuno también estuvo bien, con variedad, pero el mismo los tres días. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y, sin duda, me alojaría de nuevo si vuelvo a Galway.

One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa and leisure facilities. The indoor pool and thermal suite offered a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.
Breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of hot and cold items. However, I felt that the variety could be improved to cater to different dietary preferences.
Overall, The Galmont Hotel & Spa offers a comfortable stay with excellent amenities. I would recommend it to travellers seeking a convenient and relaxing hotel experience in Galway.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering the essentials needed for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions and recommendations. While amenities are basic, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for convenience and value in a central location. Perfect for budget-conscious travellers or those just passing through!

JjfshVery convenient location - just a minute or two walk from the train station. Room was clean, facilities were reasonable for the price. The issue we did have though was not receiving any check-in details prior to arriving in the evening. While trying to check in, a few groups managed to check in - having received earlier that day an email from the accommodation. For whatever reason, we didn't get ours. After a number of messages/calls and seeking assistance from the hotel across the road, we managed to finally receive comms from the accommodation in order to gain entry. While the individual from Madison House was adamant they sent the email, they weren't able to provide proof of this upon request...

HHappy Trip@worldThis is my terrible experience during my Ireland trip. No aircondition, double lock out of order, iron doesnt work When we reported those issues to reception, no fixing, no room change arranged. 10mins later, they sent me an iron 😔
As viewed, the hotel lobby is nice & good beakfast. Hope they have improvement in future. 🙏

Super netter Service, kostenlose Handtücher, sowie kostenlos Tee/Kaffe und Obst.
Zimmer war sauber, gute Größe und alles sehr unkompliziert.
Super waren die Steckdosenleisten an jedem Bett mit zusätzlich USB und USBC Anschluss, man benötigt also kein Adapter.
Wir hatten auch Frühstück inkl., eher kleineres Buffet, aber vollkommen ausreichend und lecker für den Preis.
Die Matratzen sin unser einzigstes Mängel, die waren sehr hart.
