A solo unos minutos a pie de la estación de tren y en pleno centro de la ciudad. La habitación tiene un tamaño razonable. Si bien el acceso a la habitación fue un poco complicado y hubo que subir muchas escaleras, el hotel en sí es conveniente para el precio económico.

Novotel Reading Centre is located in the heart of Reading, with convenient access to food, accommodation, and transportation. It is a 3-minute walk to the train station and a 3-minute walk to museums, parks, monasteries, and supermarkets. The front desk service is very friendly, and the swimming pool and gym are open normally from 10:00-22:00 every day. We are responsible for cleaning our floors very seriously and clean the rooms on time every day! Everyone gathers together at the bar downstairs every night to watch the World Cup, it's very happy! Un excelente servicio, desde que entras al hotel te reciben personas muy profesionales. La habitación estaba impecablemente limpia con todo lo que necesitas para pasar la estadía. La ubicación perfecta en el mismo centro de Reading y a unos pasos de la estación de tren. Tienes tiendas y el museo al lado.

Lovely comfortable hotel, only drawback for us was that although they accept dogs (for which they charge quite a lot) there's nowhere to eat apart from the lobby, which is rather big and exposed, if you have the dog with you. Part of the dog policy is that they shouldn't be left alone in the room (that I agree with) but it left us having to go out of the hotel to eat at a local pub which was more dog friendly. Otherwise it was great, comfortable beds, good bathroom and a pleasant ambience, nice receptionists.

A beautiful hotel in an old building in the heart of the city. The breakfast was very good with plenty pf choice. The only issue was the heating in the bathroom which wasn’t working and despite requests to the front desk wasn’t fixed

We had a lovely stay here for a wedding 15 minutes drive away. The staff were very helpful and accommodating at all times. The only comment I would like to raise is that we were given room 9 which was described as an accessible room (which we didn’t need) but it was completely inappropriate as accessible as the shower ( which was in the bath) would have been completely unsuitable for a wheelchair user, or someone else with difficulty moving who wouldn’t have been able to climb into the bath to use it. Breakfast was excellent.

Very good in terms of location, A nice little walk to the centre but far enough out that you don’t really get the noise of the late night drinkers (sat/friday). The room was a decent size for what we paid, nice shower and bathroom small but good for the money we paid. However, the room was really really hot. We had to sleep with both windows open, AC didn’t work at all. The TV has all the normal channels and it worked perfectly. The coffee machine area downstairs was helpful however they didnt give us any cups, put any available out for people to grab or tell us that they even had any. No tea bags or little things of milk which would have been helpful. The machine does make tea however we both werent sure how useful/good it would have been. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap stay in reading.

La habitación es muy agradable, pero es limpia y cómoda. Todo funciona bien, desde la temperatura y la presión del duche hasta el buen wifi. El personal era amable, disponible y eficiente. Lamentablely I didn't have time for breakfast that was included, so I can't talk about it, but it was just a 13 minutes walk to a shopping mall with a big supermarket. Había un parque de coches, si usted conducía, pero vine por autobús desde la estación de Reading y lo encontré a un paseo de la parada en la llegada y para volver a la parada de Reading estaba justo en frente del hotel.

Económico y agradable. Excelente ubicación. El personal fue muy atento.

It was our first time booking here, and we didn't expect much for the price. Despite bad reviews, our experience was pleasant. The reception staff were polite, and the room was fine. We could hear footsteps from upstairs, and the wall was a bit damaged, likely due to refurbishing, but it didn’t bother us. Overall, everything was good, and we might return once it's fully refurbished. Thanks!
